I JUST learned how to make flan before I went on Atkins. It seems it could be easily converted. The problem would be the caramal sauce. Splenda doesn't caramalize. How would flan taste with SF maple syrup on top?

Or how about caramel flavored DaVinci syrup poured over the custard?

Steel's makes a SF caramel sauce that is outstanding, but it has 3 carbs for a 2 tablespoon serving (minus 1 fiber).

I am doing induction again right now so I made the plain old Atkins flan yesterday. I used DaVinci caramel syrup over it. It was pretty good! I have always used my LC maple syrup, which is also very good!
