French Onion Dip
Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
1/2 tablespoon butter
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 carton (8 ounces) sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1. In medium skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until melted; add onion. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned. Remove from heat, stir in Worcestershire sauce. Cool completely.
2. In bowl, combine onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; mix until blended.
3. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. Serve with French-fried potatoes or roasted potato wedges.

Here's another one.....
1 block of cream cheese softened to room temp
pour in some bottled onion juice to taste (you can find this in the spice isle). I have NO idea what the carb aount is on this product, though
garlic salt to taste
evaporated milk... just a few drops. whipping cream or the low carb "Hood" milk would probably work, too.
Beat with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Adjust onion juice and garlic salt to taste.
Again, I do not know the carb counts.. perhaps some reading this will have some input. This is a "family recipe" that my Dad makes.
