How many cups of "spaghetti" in a spaghetti squash?

I made a spaghetti pie with spaghetti squash and am trying to figure out the counts in ******. It was a medium-sized squash, so I counted it as 4 cups. Do you think it's more than that?

I empied it into a bowl, and it came almost to the top. I guess I should measure the bowl, huh?

Has anyone ever figured out a good estimate? Thanks!

OK, I compared the bowl I used to a large measuring bowl I have. It looks like it would hold about 6 cups.

Reality check?

Does this sound right? If so, the spaghetti pie is a real bargain in terms of carbs and fat while still getting enough protein (I follow Protein Power, so I'm always concerned with getting enough protein in my meals).

Using 6 cups of squash, the numbers for the entire recipe came up:

Calories: 1931
Fat: 121
Carbs: 60 (fiber already deducted)
Protein: 164

I'm pretty sure I cut it into 8 pieces (13 x 9 pan), so here are the per-serving numbers:

Calories: 241
Fat: 15
Carbs: 7.5
Protein 20

And it's really filling so it sticks with you for a long time.

Edited to revise the numbers based on 6 cups of spaghetti in a spaghetti squash.

It's probably more like about 6 cups! I used a dry measuring cup when making spaghett squash pancakes, and was surprised how little there actually is in 1 cup! LOL
