Well, if you go by the fact that 1 individual packet of Splenda is supposed to be equal to 1 teaspoon of sugar, and each packet is counted as 1g of carbs...it's a simple calculation really..

1g carbs = 1 packet Splenda. 1 packet Splenda = 1 teaspoon. 1 cup = 48 teaspoons. So through deduction, one could imply that 1 cup of Splenda= 48g carbs.

But Galatea could be right as well, because some people count Splenda as 0.5g of carbs (as does ****** I believe)

How do these OLD THREADS get rediscovered?!

Actually each packet is equivalent to TWO teaspoons of sugar sweetness. And, per the Splenda website, each cup = 24 grams carbs.
