I have a simple, easy recipe for lowcarb cranberry sauce.

•1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
•1 cup sugar substitute, like Splenda, choose one that equals 1 cup of regular sugar
•1 cup water

1.Put cranberries in a pot on the stove, and pick through to remove soft and/or brown ones.
2.Add the rest of the ingredients, stir, and bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
3.Stir frequently - the cranberries will pop, and then release their "gel" and the sauce will come together like magic. This takes about 10 minutes.
4.Remove from heat and let cool completely before refrigerating.

Since I used a saucepan with a glass lid, the kind with the vent hole in it, I decreased the water to 1/2 cup and the splenda to 1/2 cup the second time I made this. It seemed too sweet the first time around. Can't remember where I got this recipe (it was somewhere online in a google search) but it was easy. Made this while the crustless splenda pumpkin pie was baking. These were a hit with the entire family! If you want the pie recipe I can post that too.

Hey guts and gals,

I was wondering what would be suitable subs for soy flour and soy protein isolate. I have a hormone condition, so I do my best to avoid soy.

Thanks in advance. These recipes look great!

You can use any protein powder(for soy protein) and lc flour mix for soy flour.
