Breakfast
Bacon & Eggs

Lunch
Costco Albacore tuna (the best!) w/ celery, fresh parsley, green onion, lemon juice, capers, mayo, evoo, pepper, dillweed, garlic, walnuts

Dinner
Foster Farms Spicy Wings, avocado, cucumber, homemade blue cheese dressing (melted blue cheese, evoo, mayo, sour cream, red wine vinegar, pepper, fresh garlic--- my salad dressing kung fu was epic for this dressing-- all my unmeasured plops and dashes worked out to make the most delicious I have ever made. I am sad I will never be able to replicate it. It is an operatic level of tragedy.)

Dinner
Fast Food Alert! Carl's Jr.'s Low Carb $6 burger and side salad. I dumped it all in a bowl and added bacon, avocado and my own dressing (mayo, ketchup, mustard, fresh garlic, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, evoo)

Dinner
Roasted pork chop w/bone; spinach wilted in butter, garlic & lemon juice

Glam Love those pics.
Yum, I just love that spinach and in fact I haven't bought any in a while and I think I'm going to buy a bag of the fresh baby spinach today.
Thanks for the reminder!!

My Breakfast

Jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese and bacon
Half an avocado
Eggs scrambled with Green chilie, mozzarella and bacon. This was soooo good. The eggs tasted like a Chile relleno

Is that a pablano pepper or a jalapeno? I used to Love Chile Relleno from my fav Mexican restaurant. They stuffed it with some really high quality white cheese that tastes and so good creamy, it melts in your mouth. I've had it a couple of times the past few months but I am so afraid that it is made with carbs in the batter. Do you know if the regular way uses a carb batter or just eggs? At least I don't eat the chips, no beans and no rice, but still wondering about the standard batter.

Dinner

Dessert
Raspberry Creamsicle (fresh raspberries, cream, whole milk, Swerve sweetener, vanilla, arrowroot) pretty, but recipe needs work, a little too icy

Its a jalapeno. I bet poblanos would be delish too! Oooh my wheel is turning with poblano ideals... The traditional way to make chile rellenos is to just use eggs. As far as I know this is the only way they are cooked. It's basically like an egg meringue so it coats the outside. I think you are safe :-)

Here are a few of my recent meals:

A pan-seared pork chop and bok choy sauteed with garlic, broccoli sprouts, and a touch of sesame oil.

burger with Gouda and black pepper bacon.

shrimp and zucchini "primavera" with my habanero jalapeño poppers

ground beef, zucchini, chili garlic paste, salt, pepper, cayenne. Under ten minutes from fridge to table.

Pan-seared pork chop with a quick pan sauce

I had a slightly-too-small amount of ground beef, and a few Brussels sprouts that needed to be eaten, so I added some cabbage and cooked it in bacon fat with some garlic chili paste, then topped it all with a couple of slices of bacon.

A few poppers (my recipe is in the photo albums), and shaved Brussels sprouts with shrimp and garlic cooked in a little bacon fat.

A meatloaf with three different cheeses, jalapeños and bell peppers, wrapped in bacon.

Cheesy garlic mashed cauliflower and roasted chicken.

sausage patties and cabbage with orange bell peppers.

bacon, asparagus, and cheddar cheese omelet.

Wings with grated ginger, minced garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, SF maple syrup, SF raspberry syrup, jalapeño powder, and sesame oil.

Roasted asparagus topped with bacon and chevre.

Roasted Brussels sprouts. Minced garlic, olive oil, a splash of lemon juice, and salt & pepper. Roasted at 400* until caramelized and yummy.

Wings made with a sweet/spicy sauce.

Glamazon--all you food looks delicious, but I really have to know about those awesome plates! At first I thought they were regular black transferware, but then I looked closer. Where did they come from?

Hi Lark! They are called "Slice of Life" by 222 Fifth. I bought every design they had more than a decade ago-- and they have been used and abused ever since, I've broken more than half of them and the rest are on their last legs. I've loved them to death and will be sad when I finally accidently break the last one!
