We don't make a big deal of Valentine's. but I am making a Prime Rib Roast - it's only my second time making one. I have a new really cool new thermometer I am going to be testing out too - it's digital and remote and also talks. And I have a new roaster and it's red so that's kinda valentiney! I will make potatoes for DH and veggies and salad for me. No champagne, but some l/c beer or a glass of red wine.

funny...I asked this a few years ago and got no responses. I am totally not a romantic, but I love to make "special dishes". I am probably starting with ciolassal shrimp in a LC sauce with a sparking. Then I am making prime rib with a salad of fennel, butter lettuce, hearts of palm with a lemon vinaigrette. A warm roll or two for DH. Probably a Rhone style Red. Dessert...hmmm...we should be full by now...not my thing anymore..DH will probably have a mini Nestle Crunch that has been sitting in the fridge since Halloween. another glass of wine to end the night.
