Extremely New needing basic menu ideas...

I really want to do Atkins 72 because I know the weight will come off faster and that will keep me motiviated. Hoping someone can help with just a basic menu to follow so I know I am on the right track.
Thanks in advance!

Atkins 72

Hi,
I haven't been posting my menus, but I like Atkins 72. Have you started yet? Are you on induction? terry

Basically, fresh foods are best. Fresh meat, poultry, fish, sausage.
fresh vegies like salad vegies, broccoli, celery, turnip, there are many more.
The fruits are fresh or frozen: berrys, all kinds.
The best fats are olive and canola or soybean oil. Mayo, butter, and non hydrogenated, non-transfat margarine are ok.
Read the labels, on canned or other products, look at the carb count, the sugar content, then at the list of ingredients.
Take a fiber tab or a fiber powder you can pour into a drink & mix. I like the Grapefruit Fiber I buy it at a health food store. It is great because I am allergic to the Psyllium Husks powder that is another good one.
Stay away from Aspartame sweetened drinks and jellos, as aspartame stalls many people.

Best wishes to you, make it your own, and you will start to lose weight, and feel healthier!

Google George Stella, as he has a web site that will answer any questions.

Thanks for the info. I started on Friday doing basic steak and steamed veggies but wanted ideas so I know what I am eating is within the food list. Not sure if I am ketosis yet I couldnt find the strips so will look again tomorrow. I made chili today but after reading all the labels not sure if this is on the plan. I mean hamburger meat yes but we add a can of Rotel and tomato paste so it is kinda hard to calculate.
