Hi everyone.. just out of curiosity how many grams of carbs do you eat per day and still manage to lose weight, I've been trying to stick to between 30 -35g per day I'm wondering if this is too many as the weight hasn't shifted quite as quickly as when I first started.

I ended up grilling the pork chops and then grilling some broccoli slaw with red pepper, onion, garlic and mushrooms to go with. Very good and very filling.
Made meatballs for tomorrow night, will make a breadless meatball sub with.
I'm going to put a breakfast casserole in the fridge tonight for breakfast tomorrow.
It's Saturday and I don't want to be stuck in the kitchen all day.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Vikki

Hi, everyone! I am new here and just wanted to say how wonderful it is to read your menus. I am not new to LC (lost 91 lbs in 10 months back in '01 but gained it back when I went back to fast food/junk food), but today is 4 weeks since I got back on the wagon. I'm down 12 lbs in those 4 weeks, but I am always looking for new food ideas to keep things from getting boring. Thank you all SO MUCH for sharing your menus here...I have already found some wonderful new things to try!

Hey y'all.

Here's my menu for the last two days;

2 fried chicken thighs, and a crystal light, 2 cups coffee. Last night, the same, but with the addition of chopped chix with Swiss cheese, plus 1 tablespoon SF Chocolate Ice Cream.

I'm planning on doing better today, now that I can cook again. (House was overrun by guests and teenagers..)

So, today:

Breakfast: Coffee, sausage

Snack: Italian Sausage, crystal light and/or another coffee

Lunch: Fried Catfish, Italian Sausage bites,

Snack: Pork Cracklins or rest of sausage bites.

Dinner: Zoodles Alfredo, Fried Catfish, Jello for desert.

Goodness I'm getting lazy at posting my menus...
I've got to do better.
Today: Sister's BD so a little different than normal
Breakfast eggs and bacon, just plain old scrambled eggs with couple slices of bacon
Lunch: oz of almonds, string cheese and iced coffee with cream. Yep way to heavy on the dairy, but was trying to keep it light for dinner
Dinner: Combination Lo Mien without the noodles so it basically meat and veggies with the sauce, which isn't sweet but I'm sure has all kinds of hidden carbs. Not something I have often, not a huge fan of this particular places food anyway, but was where my sister wanted to eat for her BD.
and I ate my fortune cookie...
No snacks couldn't afford any today, and actually I was hungry so that was good.

Sorry haven't posted in a few days. I upped my carbs to 25 grams yesterday and it's coming in the form of added veggies.

B: coffee, almond milk, liquid splenda, 3 egg omelette with red pepper, red onion, cheddar cheese, 3 slices bacon
S: jalapeno poppers (cream cheese, bacon, and 2 jalapenos)
L: salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, blue cheese, chicken, oil and vinegar
D: steak, grilled onions, 1/2 avocado, and probably another small salad but with ranch dressing

I just got my cookbooks I ordered so I am hoping to try some recipes for dinner..so maybe I will change up my menu a little.

Caboodles are noodles made from Cabbage--I slice the cabbage about 1/4--1/8 inch thick, and saute it in butter 'till tender enough to slurp. Then I drain well, and serve with meat sauce.

Zoodles are noodles made from Zucchini.

They are really nice when you want something to have with a meat sauce. I'll be experimenting with Zoodles *and* Caboodles in the same dish, today-- mixed veggie/mushroom stir-fry with Tofu, with meat on the side that can be added to the dish by the meat eaters.

I think Zoodles would be excellent with Pad Thai.
