Hey Raini! Glad to see you join us! Yep, to me it is all attitude, I could have taken my bad day and just told myself I ruined the entire diet so why not just keep eating bad for awhile but I know better, one bad choice will not define me anymore!
![]() 8-8-09 B- *club salad w/ranch and 1 small slice of tomato S- 5 slices of bacon L- 2 beef roll ups S- none D- *Creamy Cheese Broccoli soup with sausage S- SF Jello pudding *Club Salad- Very easy- Lettuce, turkey, bacon, tomato and ranch... just chop turkey & bacon and add to the lettuce along with 1 slice of tomato and then drizzle with ranch. *Creamy Cheese Broccoli soup w/ sausage- 2 Heads of fresh broccoli, mushrooms, butter, heavy cream, shredded cheese, deluxe american cheese & smoked sausageonion powder, pepper & hot sauce - Put butter in bottom of dutch oven and turn up to med-high, chop broccoli and place in pot, sauté for about 5 -7 minutes & then add sliced mushrooms & sauté 5 more mins. Add sliced smoked sausage and sauté for an additional 5 mins. Once everything is warmed through and softened, add 1/2c heavy cream, 3 to 4 c hot water and bring to a boil, lower heat and add 6 to 8 ozs shredded cheese & 5 slices of deluxe american. Add the spices of your choice and then stir to melt cheese. Simmer for about 10 - 15 mins. |

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes. Feeling better,just not good with the left hand LOL
Cast comes off the 19th can't wait.Yesterday was pretty bad, ate off plan. Today is a new day. DH is doing the cooking, with me adding my advice. ![]() B- scrambled eggs, piece sausage S- hot tea L- cottage cheese & tomatoes S- Whitmans SF chocolate covered coconut ( taste just like a mounds bar) D- Steak and salad Drinking plenty water. Kristee, thanks for the , and for posting your recipes. I have a Surfdol cookook started .Keep posting ladies I am reading and will be posting as often as I can. |

Hey Kristee, thanks for the yummy soup recipe. I've copied it down and will type it up in a bit to add to my cookbook. I love broccoli and I love cheese, so I know this is going to be great!
Kimlou- that's just 10 days away! Hang in there! How nice of your dh to help with the cooking. Mine will, too, but mostly just the grill. And hey, I am thankful for that! Evening all! Long hot day at work, our air conditioner died (on the hottest day we've had in a looooong time) and we have an oven, big grill and fryers at work so.... yeah long hot day.
I had intended to workout on the Wii tonight with the kids but I am just drained, so tomorrow, for sure!Kim- I hope it turns out ok for you all but remember, you can add more of whatever to get it the right "taste" for you guys. ![]() 8-10-09 B- 2 sausage patties, 2 slices of deluxe american and 1 egg S- finished breakfast L- shaved ham w/mayo S- none D- pork chop, collard greens and cucumbers in a cream sauce (my family used to make a sauce w/miracle whip, milk and seasonings, I made it LC) S- SF Jello Well that's it for tonight, going to bed, my youngest DD has her Pre-K orientation tomorrow after work, yay! It's from Red Lobster and it is yummy!!! Minus the fried shrimp of course, I always have my husband eat mine.
I help everyones doing well. Here is my menu for today. EAS shake strawberry The inside of a a Philly Cheese steak Outback wings OMG these are the best dang wings EVER!!! And a couple crab stuffed shrimp which I'm sure had some breading. |

LOL Sorry guys, crazy few days around here! WHEW! Youngest DD starts preschool tomorrow and we have been running around trying to make sure we have all our ducks in a row.
Kim- everything good just busy thanks for worrying lol And as for the Wii, it came with the sports game and we bought the fitness board and it came with the fitness game. We really enjoy it and what I like is it is like having your own trainer. You can play the games or you can do yoga or the strength training... just a ton of things to do so there is a big variety, we definitely don't get bored! 8-16-09 B- 2 eggs & 2 sausage patties S- none L- cheeseburger w/1 slice of tomato, lettuce, pickles and mayo S- finished burger D- cheesy broccoli & lemon pepper chicken S- beefstick That's it for today. B- Atkins bar and ICE (?) drink
L- 2 chicken wings, hamburger patty with cheese, chicken grilled with olive oil, cilantro, lime and cumin; some sort of celery, tomato and parsley salad (all this at a wedding!) and NO cake! (I did have one very little bite of a rhubarb pie, and only because the fellow that baked it is a dear friend and to be honest he is so old I worried that I might not ever have another piece of his pie!) S- nuts and celery D- well... I ate too many nuts again so I wasn't hungry for dinner Not a stellar day, but not awful, either. The biggest downfall was the nuts and the one bite of pie. I don't regret the pie, though... I WOULD regret it if anything happened to our friend and he never made another pie! Wait... that sounds all wrong. I'll feel terrible if anything happens to him anyway! |

Surfdol--- I do remember my sons first day at preschool. I was more tearful than him the first day. About 2 weeks into school he decided he was ready to graduate.
