Thanks, Busy B! I'll tell you-- they thought I'd lost my mind in the Value Village when I went to try on size 9/10 and they fit. You could have heard me whoopin' and hollerin' out in the street!
Congratulations on your weight loss Erica!!! I can't wait until I lose enough to be able to wear a size 10 too!!!! Slowly but surely I will get there. Right now I wear a 16 but I will get there! |

Kim Lou-- they were awesome. I hope everyone else is doing well. This is my 19th week on Atkins '72, and I seem to have stalled. So, I'm going to be paying a lot more attention to my diet. Part of that will be consuming more eggs. To that end: I just got bento boxes-- ![]() ![]() , and I bought these cool little gadgets to go with them; one is a mold for boiled eggs (you get hearts or star shapes) and the other is a mold for rice. I'm going to try it with Cauli-rice and see how that works. In case y'all are interested--- This is how to use the egg molds: Bento Egg Molds Everything Your Mama Made & More Here's how to use the rice molds: Cooking Cute: Onigiri Tutorial Here's anything and everything Bento: BentoTV More Bento stuff: Cooking Cute: Bento Equipment In other words, I've gone Bento CRAZY! ![]() ![]() ![]() The thing is-- a lot of this can be Low Carbed: Plain Ol' Food: Low carb bento box treat So I'm going to give it a shot. I'll post some pics if I manage to do some nice looking ones. ![]() Anyway-- Yesterday's menu: Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs. Coffee Snack: Coffee, Ham and Swiss Lunch: Ham (just noshing) Dinner: Crock pot "Rotisserie" Chix Leg, 2 pieces ham, Crystal Light Snack: 1 Piece of ham with Mozzarella Today: Breakfast: Coffee Snack & Lunch: Ham & Melted Cheese Rolls, to fit in my bento box, Raw Cauliflower, Pork Rinds Dinner: Pork & Shrimp Caulifried Rice,Asian Meatballs, Low Carb Egg Foo Yung (Will have leftovers for tomorrow--busy day) I may try using our Sushi roller-thingie and Nori to make Low Carb Sushi. I'll let y'all know if it turns out. Anyway-- y'all have a good rest of the weekend! Has anyone else done some experimenting with foods, lately?

Hi there BusyB-- those bottle labels can fool you if you're not careful, huh? I've had that happen, too. ![]() Hey, Kimlou-- it looks like our folks are reviving! Yay! I've been feelin' kinda bloaty lately-- so I'm going to attack it by lowering to amount of splenda and artificial sweeteners I get per day. Drink waaay more water. See if that makes a difference. My band is playing a fairly important show on the 22nd-- and I would like to have reached a size 8 by then. I'm at 9/10 at the moment, which is great-- but my overall goal is probably going to be size 2. (I'm 5' 1".) The hardest thing for me is to get rid of the gut-- my upper half is 2 sizes bigger than my bottom half. And trying to learn how to dress for the new configuration is kinda rough, too. It's like growing out a bad haircut. ![]() Anyway-- here's my menus: Menus: 4/29 Breakfast: Coffee, cream, splenda (2) Snack: 1 slice prime rib roast Lunch: Brats with Green pepper and onion, Crystal light Snack: Brats with Green pepper and onion Dinner: Mexican Dreamfields noodle casserole with ground pork/turkey, black beans and salsa. (Yeah, I blew it.) ![]() ![]() Snack: SF Acai Jello, Crystal Light (small glass) 4/30 I have the flu (not the swine variety , or I'm sure I'd be in the hospital) so, was not willing to make a lot of effort in the cooking department... will do better today.Breakfast: Crockpot Roast, coffee Lunch: Pork rinds with melted mozzarella, 2 diet ginger ales Snack: Water, water and more water Dinner: Crock pot Pork Roast, Diet Root beer 5/1: Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Snack: Pork Rinds, plain Lunch: Linda's Stuffed Burgers (burgers stuffed with bacon and cheese, topped with Swiss. Snack: Crystal light/ or Diet Soda, water Dinner: Linda's Stuffed Burgers, SF Jello Last edited by Erica L. Butler; 05-01-2009 at 10:08 AM.. |
