I'm back, too. Got trapped in Busyville for a while...

I've been having a real tough time wanting to eat... and then , yesterday, I ate crap-4 fried chicken thighs, 1 piece of pork roast, 1 serving sugar free jello, and a couple of handfuls of pork rinds. (This was spread out over the entire day.)

So, back to induction for me.

My menu for today:

Breakfast: Coffee (2)

Snack: Handful Pork Rinds

Lunch: More Pork Rinds with Mozzarella and Salsa

Snack: Coffee

Dinner: Broiled Salmon and Shrimp with a "Brown Sugar"/Mustard Glaze & Roasted Veggies: Cauliflower, Green Peppers, and Portabella Mushrooms, Drizzled with Browned Butter with Garlic.

Yeah, Kimlou-- I haven't been all that enthusiastic about food lately.
Of course, that means the diet is working, yes?

Hey y'all. How's everybody doin'?

I'm being stupidly happy today-- I am now wearing size 10 jeans and pants and they are loose! This is my 17th week of doing Atkins '72, and I was wearing a size 18/20 pants size. My goal is to get down to about a size 4. (I'm 5'1".) :

Here's mine for yesterday and today.

Yesterday:
Breakfast: Coffee, H&H, Sugar Twin (2)

Snack: Cooked cold Shrimp 1 pack (about 1/2 lb)

Lunch: Smoked Salmon, cream cheese rolled up in Baked Turkey Slices (2)

Snack: Hydroxycut instant drink pack (0 carbs) 16 oz

Dinner: Smoked Salmon mixed with Cream Cheese with Pork Rinds

Today: Breakfast: Coffee, H&H, Sugar Twin (2)

Lunch: 2 large burgers stuffed with 1 oz each ( aprox ) Mozzarella Cheese, topped with 1 slice Colby Jack cheese each, with 1 tbs Mayo each, Hydroxycut instant drink pack (0 carbs) 16oz (I drink *one or two* of these throughout the day.) I ended up eating only a burger and a half.

Dinner: Zuchinoodle Shrimp and Chicken Asian-Style Stir Fry, SF Jello, Water and/ rest of Hydroxycut instant drink pack (0 carbs) 16oz. More water.

Snack: Rest of one of the burgers (1/2 ), and maybe a handful of pork rinds. Water, water and more water.

Hope to hear from everybody real soon!

Thanks, Busy B! I'll tell you-- they thought I'd lost my mind in the Value Village when I went to try on size 9/10 and they fit. You could have heard me whoopin' and hollerin' out in the street!

I haven't been this size since college!

Thanks, Kimlou! Isn't it funny how, when you're short, even 5 pounds can make a huge difference?

Hi, Kimlou--

The Hydroxycut doesn't seem to be making me jittery at all. (And I'm really sensitive to that) It does, however, make me a little gassy. I'm trying this out until I run out of the packets. If I see no results, I probably won't stick with it.

The Atkins bar says 3 net carbs, but the total carbs are 22, df: 11, sugar: 1, sugar alcohol: 1. The numbers don't add up, so I am counting 11 net carbs total per bar. Wish I knew before eating from it all these days. Thank God I just take a bite or two.

Good Morning all ---

B- hot tea
S- Atkins Cranberry and almond bar (On the run)

S- sf jello w/whipped topping
D- baked tiliapia w/ butter and herbs, and broccoli
S- Not for sure yet we'll see

BUSYB--- There is a post on this site somewhere that tells how Atkins gets their numbers. IF I remember right it has to do with the artificial sweeteners other than the sugar alcohol listed. I'll keep an eye out for it and post it here if I can find it .

Hey y'all.

BusyB, isn't it funny how many carbs those bars add up to when you do the analysis? Yikes.

Anyway, here's my menu for yesterday:

Breakfast: Coffee (2) h&h, splenda
Snack: pork rinds
Lunch: Shrimp Scampi from the Deli (I checked the label, no sugar!) 2 Baked Chix thighs
Snack: pork rinds, Hydroxycut drink mix 16oz, water
Dinner: None, really-- just a handful of pork rinds, water,
Snack: 4 breakfast sausages (nuked) crystal light (1 small glass.) more water

Today: Fried Catfish and Shrimp on the menu! Yum.
