I know nothing but crap. I went out with my mom and didn't get to eat for 6 hours so of course when I got home I was starving and eating anything in sight! Not going to beat myself up over it just move on

No, I haven't tried that yet. I bought frozen ones at Costco. I made one in the toaster oven the other day, and it was so gross! Last night dh made one on the grill for me, it was much better! He uses season salt, garlic salt, and onion salt, I think (just sprinkles on top of pre-made patty). Maybe I'll try my George Foreman grill next time!

Week 9 Day 4 carb down

I felt like poo all day-TOM, which basically means a 3-5 day migraine for me

M1: protein shake
M2: 3 bites of egg salad
M3: Went to Gordon Biersch, had 3 small ribs, wedge salad with WAY too much blue cheese (tried to scoop most of it out and give to dh), jasmine rice
M4: Chicken slices and cheesestick
M5: 2 bites of chicken salad, broccoli
M6: Atkins shake

I hope that's all I eat. I've had a really rough time staying on program today (as you see). I was going to weigh myself tomorrow, but I know if I am not happy with the results, my carb up day will definately become a cheat day

Hi Kelley. I noticed you are changing your carb up day. I changed mine last week to Sunday. Then I just continued with the regular week schedule of Baseline on Monday and carb down yesterday, and will have carb up day today. Now I am not sure that is correct. Any ideas on how to proceed?

2nd Question to Kelley: On some of your carb up days are you waiting until 3 for the starches? It seems you can fit in a lot of carb up meals. I like your posts because we are the same height and have similar weight goals, so I look to how you do things as a mentor. Besides you have had a very steady weight loss.

I am following a similar pattern to the first round. Lost 2 pounds week 9 on the mini deplete and gained on back this week.

Need to start exercising on the non-running days, but it has been very hot and humid in Los Angeles. Looking forward to some kind of fall.

Sara you are probably fine as long as you do your carb down day the day before carb up day - that is really the only hard and fast rule about switching days. I would just continue with the week as planned.

Sara not always - sometimes I start at lunch. Other days I've gone to parties and ate until 11pm I try to eat pretty sensibly until noon and then add those starches in and enjoy!

That is just what I wanted to hear Kelley. There are these really big chocolate chip cookies in the lunchroom calling my name. I don't feel like eating salad and protein for lunch. May just eat the cookies earlier. Thanks.

Hey there - it wasn't bad. I had the creamy milk chocolate. It has that funny tin can taste, but was chocolately and creamy. I switched my carb up day to today because I have class with some friends tonight and I'm pretty sure she will bring some goodies to class tonight and wanted to take part
