My best induction plans are generally to keep some kind of meat cooked up ahead of time. Then I can add some cheese on top. I'm not sure how strict your induction plan is, but I eat a lot of eggs and try to eat plenty so I'm not hungry and tempted to eat stuff I know I shouldn't.
I also cut up veggies for salad and put in separate containers, so I can grab whatever and make up different types of salads or eat raw veggies with a little ranch dressing. A combination of mayonnaise and mustard makes a great dipping sauce for chicken. I will bake up a big pan of chicken, so after its done, I can use it for different things. I can eat it on top of salad or add a little broccoli and cheese for a different type dish or even quick stir fry some of it with a little low sodium soy sauce and some bell peppers. I eat a lot of roll up type things. Take a thin slice of meat, generally I get deli turkey or ham and a slice of cheese and put a pickle spear in the middle. Often, I'll wrap a lettuce leaf around that, but it works fine without it. I make a lot of pepperoni nachos for munchies. I make cheese chips for crunchies. I eat celery stuffed with homemade pimento cheese. I fry a bunch of pork chops or pork steaks with lotsa pepper on them cuz they taste okay cold too. The same with chicken, I don't mind it cold. Any leftover meats can be added to a salad for variety. Lettuce makes great bread also if you want a hot dog or hamburger or sandwich. Quiche dishes are pretty good if you like eggs. That's about all I can think of right now. Most of my "recipes", I kinda just make up as I go along. My fave salad is just lettuce, celery, blue cheese or feta cheese crumbles, lotsa black pepper and a little mayo. I hope this helps. P.S. I am a real person and I really do this. LOL ![]() |

I am on induction and getting ready to be very strict. Meaning I need to grocery shop. I eat like this except I eat ranch dressing. I would like a recipe to make my own. I can't do cream cheese it slows me down.

we made stuffed peppers tonight and they are totally induction friendly! yay!
peppers: red, green, or poblano. in general, a medium red bell pepper has 8 total carbs, 6 net. one way to cut that is to cut them in half and use more filling. olive oil 1 sausage (casing removed) 1/2 pound buffalo or ground meat 1/4 cup chopped onion (2.73g net carbs) tomato sauce to cover (1/2 cup usually=5g -1g fiber =4gnet) 1/2 cup full fat mozzarella, shredded 1/4 cup parmesan reggiano, shredded =1.5 carbs spices: oregano, parsley, fennel, hot pepper, pepper, etc, as desired) arrange on a baking dish, cover with foil, bake in preheated oven at 375 for 30 minutes, remove foil, cook an additional 10-20 minutes till browned. this made 1 stuffed medium pepper, 1 small pepper, 1/2 a pepper, and a partly stuffed poblano. poblanos seem to have the least amount of carbs, and they are yummy! adapted from Kalyn's kitchen blog |
