Probably starting off with a cup of tea and coconut oil.

For late breakfast (if my friend ever gets here) will be mexican style omlettes. I'm going to fry up some hamburger and seasoning and then make standard omlettes filling them with the meat and cheddar, and then serving with a little salsa and a dab of sour cream on top. Probably some bacon too.

I am going to a concert tonight (Peter Paul and Mary...I know, quite random but I love them), so dinner will be at a restaurant so more than likely some kind of burger without the bun....maybe 2 if I'm hungry (no lunch and no oil with me).

Then probably something when I get home tonight.

WOE: no grain, pure foods -- healthy!
bfast: omelet with gpeppers, onions and cheddar cheese; coffee & cream

lunch: burger patty with condiments, tomato & lettuce; water

since it's the weekend ... I'm currently drinking a Redbridge beer (gluten-free but NOT lower carb) and I think I'm going to have another one.

dinner (in the south, supper=dinner): Tonight, my sweet hubby & i are grilling chicken, pepper & onion kabobs. We're also planning to stir-fry some yellow squash, onions and garlic on the grill. I will add a fruit for the kids. I may also have another beer or a glass of red wine.

(I just realized as I'm typing this that I'm getting all my carbs in alcohol today. Oh well, Saturdays only come around once a week!)

Oh how fun! I'll play along

Please ignore my breakfast. I didn't have any LC foods in the house on my first day.. Eeek.

Breakfast bar (not LC)

Lunch - leftover steak, shredded cabbage, mayo and vinegar dressing (I made)

snack - decaf coffee, sweetnlow, 2 T non dairy creamer (all I had to use)

Dinner - chick peas, grilled hamburger patty, large slice of grilled onion, 1 oz cheddar cheese melted on top of them

I just found out that chick peas are not on the induction list, but they are full of fiber, which I need right now.

Over all, I've been as good as I could possibly be today. Especially since I started out without being prepared. I just HAD to do SOMETHING good toward making some huge changes in my life and I couldn't wait another second to do it!

WOE: atkins

I had to go get measured today by a lady who is sewing my dress for my sons wedding, so I didnt eat till I came back. Hmmm so on my way back, I stop at the firedept's yearly barbque... Bought a plate, but while standing in line I was talking to one of the ladies on the dept (a friend) Asked her if I could get all meat because I started atkins. Told her about my weightloss, She grabbed my ticket, went in the kitchen and filled my plate with brisket and sausage... no sauce.... So my menu today has been brisket and sausage for breakfast lunch and dinner... need to eat a salad tho... If I didnt go over carbs with the sausage!
