Any ideas for Super Bowl Sunday fare beyond the buffalo wings and meat and cheese platter? ![]() |

fried pepperoni- just fry in medium dry skillet, pat dry and store at room temp
fake rumaki (smear a mixture of yellow mustard and splenda onto bacon cut in thirds, top with a water chestnut, wrap up and secure with toothpick. Bake at 450 on foil-lined pan till bacon is crisp) Tuna spread with celery strips, or try turkey/tofu spread....2 parts cooked chopped turkey or chicken, 1 part silken tofu. whirl in food processer till smooth, then add chopped onion, pepper, and celery, season with salt and pepper, tabasco, and a little bit of garlic powder. Meatballs. Bake and drain them, then toss them in a crockpot with a can of cambell's cream of chicken and mushroom soup and a cup of sour cream. That's plenty of sauce for 3 pounds of meatballs and it's only slightly illegal (the soup is 5 carbs per serving and you could also just use sour cream, beef bouillon crystals, and a squirt of LC spaghetti sauce or LC ketchup with onion powder, garlic powder, and thyme) |
