Full fat yogurt with ground flax seed, vanilla Davinci's, and some sort of fruit, all mixed together and chased down by a hot beverage.

If I am dining out that morning, then it's old-fashioned sunny side-up eggs (lots of pepper), with several strips of extra-crispy bacon.

Nicashel, that is a really pretty photo of you.

I have been eating these for breakfast everyday for 2 weeks. I love them. They are low cal, low fat & high protein. They can be tricky to make until you get the hang of it as they are very delicate. It is my own recipe I have played around with. If you want, a little lemon zest instead of the cinnamon & vanilla in the batter & a blueberry & splenda reduction served on top is quite nice. Also, try an appricot puree & yocheese blend & fill the crepe blintz-style for a yummy treat.

1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese
2/3 cup egg starts (or egg beaters or 3 egg whites)
2 tbsp. splenda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. real vanilla extract

Slowly mix the egg whites into the ricotta until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients at once & mix together.

Spray a nonstick pan with Pam or lightly oil. Pour half the mixture into the pan on a medium-high heat. After litttle bubbles have come thru the crepe, carefully flip the crepe over to set the other side. Remove from the pan & repeat with the remaining batter.

I usually serve mine with a tiny bit of butter & a drizzle of SF Ms. Butterworths syrup.

Until you get used to making them, try making small, silver dollar sized pancakes & work up to a crepe sized pancake.

Cranberry & Almond Atkins Morning Bar with a cup of Spiced Chai tea.

If I'm having eggs, I prefer scrambled and put into a LC tortilla with sour cream, cheese and salsa.

But 90% of my breakfasts are the bars and tea.

Well, today it was lc pizza and hot wings.

Usually we have breakfast muffins (no bread ... it is just eggs, left-over meat, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and occasionally some onion. Then baked).

As soon as I start having the lc tortillas, it will be chorizo sausage cooked and then scrambled with eggs and cheese then wrapped in the lc tortilla. Maybe a little salsa or jalapenos added.
