Lowfat & lowcarb Maintainer Menu

Being Healthy (first name ?) that would be Being? Sure don't know why many don't post a menu. I think because many eat on the run and are not sure what they will eat. I guess being retired gives a person more time to plan. I need a scheduled life of sorts even though retired. I like having a plan.

I post menus on two other LC sites so I often forget about this one, since it's in its own forum! But I'll try to join in whenever possible!

Today:

ATKINS '72 MAINTENANCE

B: Iced cappuccino - A double shot of espresso, a scoop of Nectar cappuccino whey protein powder, and enough almond milk and ice cubes to fill up my 16 ounce glass; a cup of decaf with cream

S: Decaf with cream (at work)

L: 3.5 ounces leftover spice-rubbed, panfried pork chop, 4 pieces dried chile mango

D: Going out to our favorite spot on Cannery Row - Blue Moon Cafe. Not sure exactly what yet but I am sure of one glass of Hahn Chardonnay and splitting an artichoke with garlic aioli appetizer with DH!

Loretta, I've tried eating right without planning ahead and it doesn't really work all that well for me. I plan for a while, then life gets in the way, then I slack off, then my eating starts to deteriorate, etc. I'm determined to get this right!! I'm glad you're posting. It's nice getting those 'someone has replied to your post' emails.

Charski, glad you remembered to post here! Looking forward to 'seeing' more of you!

Hi Janie! I like the idea of posting what you had the day before. Many times my actual menu at the end of the day looks nothing like my planned menu.

OK, if that's ok. I will post on Friday's thread what I ate on Thursday. I have not tracked my menu this week and it makes a big difference when I do. Nice to meet you all.
