Leretta, It's not anything...
...I normally just have some nuts (maybe an ounce of walnuts for example) and a slice of cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrell individual packs) around midday so I won't get too hungry before dinner. When I was reading the posts about cinnamon, I figure I can replace the cheddar cheese w/cream cheese to add the cinnamon in. Ya know, maybe I SHOULD combine the nuts with it! ![]() |

Thanks BH I add cinnamon to my peaches and yogurt too. Let me know how you like your new concoction.
I usually eat several times a day to keep from getting too hungry. I find that if I let myself get too hungry I will tend to over eat. |

Just tried the cinnamon in my smoothie. I was too chicken to risk 'ruining' my whole smoothie so I put about 6 oz. in a separate cup and mixed in 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon. It was REALLY good. I was drinking the rest of my smoothie in another cup and didn't enjoy it as much so I added another 1/4 tsp of cinnamon to it. No matter if this does anything for my weightloss, I'm going to continue adding in 1/2 tsp to my smoothies!
I can feel the spiciness (is that a word?) going down my esophagus. Not sure if I like the feeling but maybe that's the thermogenic properties. I'll let you know how the cream cheese thing goes. Not sure if I'm gonna do it with some butter, sf vanilla, sf syrup, or heavy cream, OR ALL?! Gonna copy this to the cinnamon thread.

Okay, I took about 2 oz of cream cheese and softened in the micro. Then I stirred in a pat of softened butter, 1 tsp SF vanilla syrup, and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Then I nuked it a tiny bit more, stirred, ate with a spoon. Very creamy and I really liked the taste. I hope I see some results tomorrow.

GetFitMom, I've been asking myself the same thing about dinner -
"Why did it eat that???" I had two pieces of cold, leftover fried chicken, then later I had a small piece of leftover steak with a little leftover mac and cheese made w/Dreamfields, and then a little after that, I heated up a hamburger patty with a slice of cheese on it. Everything was legal, but come on, how can I expect to lose???? |
