Friday....What's for lunch?

Today is ham and cheese. Forgot my cucumber so more ham for snack.

For those asking about crackslaw....someone posted the recipe in one of these past posts probably a week or two ago. Might want to search for crackslaw and check out the posts of What's for Lunch. It looked really good!

Hot wings - YUMMM!! I started eating those for awhile and kept discovering (in Fitday) that I was blowing my calories way out of proportion! I should start eating them again as a treat like you! They have always been one of my favorite food groups!!

Today I have: 1/2 c. diced leftover pork roast; 1 c. lettuce and 2 T. Buffalo Blue Cheese dressing. Gotta buy more - had to scrape the bottle this morning!

I love crackslaw but have tweaked it a bit. I use 2 bags of angel hair shredded cabbage, 1 chopped zucchini, 2 TBSP sesame oil, 1 garlic clove, 1 Tbsp ground ginger, 2 Tbsp Carb Options Asian Teriyaki marinade. I LOVE it. I have to be careful because I could eat it all. I am having that today for lunch with some yogurt with almonds.

I am changing my lunch. I am headed out for chicken. Think I want something hot today.

I thought crackslaw was made with brocilli stems. Must be more than one kind.

We had pork chops and fried cabbage! Very good!

I add chopped water chestnuts to my crackslaw and I make it with pork strips instead of ground beef.
