started induction today :-)

Started induction today and I just made fried chicken using crushed pork rinds and its wonderful! Years ago I lost a bunch of weight on Atkins and I was miserable cause I didn't want to put any effort out on cooking. This time I'm going to do things different so I don't get bored but still stay in induction. Just wanted to share

Hi annielane! I am also restarting induction! Or rather starting for real. I have been low carb for 3 weeks. Staying at my daughters, but they eat really high carb vegetarian. Now I'm home and I'll have to start cooking as well. I've lost 3.2 lbs. Would really like to speed up the weight loss. I've got to try that fried chicken recipe! I wish you strong conviction over the next two weeks!

It's been 1 week for me and so far I've lost about 5 lbs. I know it's water weight, but I was extremely bloated. I feel great now. Hopefully I'll have some fat loss this week. I'm in ketosis. I just need to watch the calories.

The 2 week induction officially ends for me tomorrow. I'm going to continue my carbs at induction level for awhile longer. I have about 5 more lbs I'd like to get off before increasing my carbs.

Sounds like a plan, I need one more week for induction and I should keep doing it a bit longer as well. I always miss fruit a lot, but berry's are not that bad for low carb.

I'm surprised at how hard this has been for me. I've done Atkins in the past and was losing pretty fast.. But was on then off, weight up and then weight down , over and over. Now...I hadn't dieted for a long time. And I'm back on for good (since Sept 21) and damn it, it's been crazy hard to get the weight off. I have found that I can't have any bars or shakes and almost no vegetables. Also I'm reacting to dairy (I really, really miss cheese and cream!!) So once again I'm starting over... Gonna have to stay on meats and greens. I guess the good thing is now I know what not to do lol.
