Morning Beachers!

I turned in my two week notice to my current job. And will be starting my new job on Oct 20. It is a great opportunity that I couldn't pass up!

This is going to be the start of getting my act together. My treadmill is DONE. So it will be the bike for cardio. I can watch Y&R while riding the bike. And I will be doing a weight routine from a body building site.

Happy October Beachers!

Hi Girls,
Well after a weekend of eating out a bunch and drinking too much wine, I am up 3 pds It should come off fairly quickly, but none the less it gets frustrating.

Hard to imagine its October already!! This coming weekend we have a bunch of stuff going on, our friends band is playing a show Friday night, then Saturday we are taking our doggie to the pet expo, then Sunday we are taking all the kids and the dog to the pumpkin patch, should be fun though

I have 1 week till my next class starts, not looking forward to homework again lol.

Tina- Congrats on the new job, what will you be doing? I wish I could find a new job, I know I could make more money elsewhere, but I really like the people I work with and all the vacation I have racked up here lol. I will move on to something else someday. This job works out nicely while I am in school too because often I have time to do my homework while at work

Where is everyone else? I know Wiz was on vacation and is prob buried in emails and what not.

I plan on trying some pumpkin recipes this next weekend

Morning Beachers!

I watched an episode of blue bloods on the cbs app while riding the bike last night. Tonight is gonna be a weights night. Arms and shoulders I think.

DD homecoming is on Saturday. Gonna be a busy week. Nails on Thursday, football game, dr appt and eyebrows on Friday, hair and dance on Saturday.

Kel - I will be basically be doing the same thing. Right now I credential physicians with insurance companies. I'll just be on the other end, working in the credentialing department of an insurance company.

Pumpkin recipes sounds yummy! I tried the WW recipe useing a can of pumpkin and a box of cake mix. Eh, kinda tasted chemically to me. But I'm weird like that.

Happy Tuesday Beachers.

Hello all!!

I wanted to check in yesterday, but catching up at work took me forever. I even did a bunch of email while we were in Key West. Being in Sales, I don't feel like I am ever completely off the clock.

I am in a real state of denial and won't get on the scale.

But the good news is that I am back on Phase 1 and have been eating very well. I was even good at our Eagles tailgate on Sunday. I would have been better because I wasn't planning on having any alcohol until my SiL showed up with champagne! All good intentions went out the window. LOL.

Joe wants to lose some weight too, so we've really cut back on what is in the house. I keep some WW English muffins in the freezer for him, if he gets desperate for some bread but that's about it.

Tina, congrats on the new job! Always exciting to start something new. Not that I would know...I've been at my company for 26 years and have been in Sales for 15 of them. It's been a long time since I had to interview (even internally!) for a new job.

Kelly, your weekend plans sound fun!

Cindy, I think October will fly by. We have plans every single weekend this month.

By the way, got a great 4-mile run in this morning! Beautiful weather here, in the 70s today.

Horrible day at work...my attempt to stay on Phase 1 may be up-ended by a glass of wine tonight. Eating has been great, however!

Tina, what type of history is your daughter studying? Tell her to visualize it like a movie or good book!

Hi Girls,
My week has totally sucked, been having issues everytime after I eat, I get these horrible pains and cramps and its to the point now where I pretty much cant even eat went to the hospital last night and they gave me these pills that I am supposed to take 30 mins before eating to help with digestion, but I dont really think that is the problem, I think its a gallbladder issue. I am calling my regular doc today to see if I can get in tomorrow to see him, in the meantime I will take these pills and see what happens. On the bright side I have lost a few pounds because I cant eat much Not really the way I wanted to lose weight though!!

Not sure how our weekend plans will go with me not feeling so great, I guess I can go walk around though, its pretty much like the worst menstrual cramps you have ever felt.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend,

Kelly

Tina, ah the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers! LOL.

Kelly, wow, what a bummer. Hope you get this figured out quickly and feel better soon.

Sitting here working in my home office with jeans on. While they are snug, at least they fit.

Hello all!

I had a REALLY good week of eating. Yes, I did have that one glass of wine on the night I was so frustrated with work. But that's it. I am feeling like I can keep this going into the weekend!

The neighborhood girls resurrected our Bunco group for tonight (we haven't played since Hurricane Sandy) and I'll have to deal with all the treats they have out - but I feel like I can do it. I will have a big salad before I go.

No plans on Saturday, I think Joe and I will go see Gone Girl and get some Mums/Pumpkins for the house.

Eagles vs Giants at the Linc Sunday night! It's a showdown in the Wiz household. One of us will come home happy, the other - not so much.

Hope everyone has a good weekend! TGIF!!

Good Morning Beachers!

No workout last night, might not be one tonight either, not sure whats going on tonight.

Tomorrow is homecoming prep with DD, makeup, hair, pictures, dinner. Big production.

I've had a pretty decent eating week also. Im thinking I can carry it into the weekend! I don't always feel that positive about being able to carry it into the weekend

Wiz - Good luck to your team this weekend!

Kel - Oh, that sounds awful! healing vibes coming your way!

Cindy - Hows the vegan lifestyle treating you?

I got through Bunco with flying colors!! There is a different kind of candy on each table, so as you move around during the game everyone nibbles. Even though the candy corn looked particularly irresistible - I was able to say No.

And I volunteered to be designated driver, so no wine or beer either. I think I just about emptied my friend's water cooler!!

Bottom line is I had about a dozen almonds, 2 slices of apple with cheddar cheese, and about 5 grapes. Yea me

Tina, I hope you guys are getting better weather for homecoming than we are! It is absolutely pouring here and it is also our town's homecoming. I feel badly for the kids - they do floats for a parade, the homecoming Queen festivities at the game, not to mention playing football in this!

Hi Girls,
Had a good weekend, I figured out if I eat totally fat free that pain isnt nearly as bad as it was, which pretty much confirms the issue is my gallbladder. I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning at 730am, so perhaps I will get some answers, although the ultrasound tech cant analyze the results, so I will be back to waiting on the doctor to review them and let me know whats going on, then of course she will prob have to refer me to a specialist since she is just an everyday doc, good times!!

My weight is holding steady now because I have to eat way more carbs than I was before since doing fat free, I am eating things like oatmeal with berries, dreamfields pasta with sauce, no meat, salad with FF dressing, sourdough english muffins, and protein shakes. Tonight I am going to make stuffed peppers with ground turkey and brown rice, no cheese on mine I tried to eat air popped popcorn the other night with no butter on it and it hurt my stomach something terrible, its kinda trial an error to determine what I can and cant eat.

My new school class starts today as well, so I need to log on and check that out.

Wiz- Looks like your Eagles did well last night!!

Have a great week ladies,

Kelly

Hello all!!

OK, I went (really, really) off plan on Sunday at the tailgate. But wow, we had a great night!!

The good news is I was right back on yesterday. And I've been keeping up with my exercise. I even ran before going to the game on Sunday! Last night I did some easy chicken breasts baked in the oven with salsa and some RF cheese on top. Plus some roasted cauliflower. Tonight we're having turkey spinach meatballs I made a couple weeks ago and put half in the freezer.

I am off to NYC for the rest of the week and then again on Monday...and next Wednesday I have to go down to Washington DC. And in between is my SiL's birthday party in PA. I will only be sleeping in my bed 2 out of the next 9 nights!! I will have to be vigilant with my eating. It's so easy to backslide when traveling!

Kelly, hope you finally get this all figured out.

Tina, LOVED the FB pic of your daughter in her Homecoming dress. She is beautiful!!

Cindy, what's going on? Your Packers have really turned things around after their slow start.

I will try to check in from NYC, it keeps me focused.

Back on track after Sunday's debacle.

I finally go to get on the scale and guess what? The battery had run out. I'm not sure if that was a sign or what??? In any case, I really need to drop quite a few lbs. Even if I don't know the number on the scale, I know what I feel like. So I am feeling motivated, hope that feeling lasts!!

Off to NYC today, will try and check in at some point.

Hi Girls,
Well its been confirmed that the problem is my gallbladder Im waiting on a call from the doc to let me know my options, but Im assuming it means surgery. They are so slow though.

I have to eat non fat foods at this point, but still trying to keep the carbs lower as well. I dont want this train wreck to ruin my weight loss and all I have worked for thus far.

I hope everyone else is doing well

Back from NYC, although we are off to PA today for my SiL's surprise b-day party. So another night not sleeping at home!

I had one really off plan meal while in NYC. The big client dinner was a 4-course meal at an Italian restaurant! And you had to pick from a set menu. Oh well, I did get a long run in along the Hudson River and did a ton of walking from the hotel to office to train to dinner, etc. (in heels no less!!)

Kelly, is the non fat diet helping to keep the pain down? When do you find out about the treatment plan?

It's a beautiful morning here, I'm headed down to check out the waves from Hurricane Gonzalo out in the Atlantic. I expect to see some big swells out there!

Hi Girls,
I met with the surgeon yesterday and it looks like November 3rd will be my surgery day, they are going to confirm for sure with me on Monday. The low fat diet is totally helping with the pain management, thank goodness or I wouldnt have been able to carry on this long. It sucks not being able to have the things I want though

Anyway, not much else to report, today we are going to get a SAMS club memebership and do some shopping, then yardwork tomorrow, this will be our last dry weekend prob for the rest of fall/winter, we have a ton of stuff that needs pruned way back!! Tonight we plan to have a seafood buffet for dinner, at least fish and shrimp are low fat

I hope everyone is having a great weekend, Tina and Cindy where are you gals??

Good morning!

Off to NYC this morning, then down to Herndon VA (near DC) on Wednesday. Back on Friday afternoon. It's shaping up to be a long week.

Cindy, the Eagles were off this week for the bye. They are 5-1! But to be honest, I don't think they are as good as their record indicates. Lots of smoke and mirrors, LOL.

Hope everyone has a good week!

Hi Girls,
No one is checking in much anymore I am still hanging in there, waiting for my surgery. Its scheduled for Nov 3rd, I am only taking 2 days off work and then working from home the rest of the week. Still having to eat no or minimal fat so my tummy doesnt hurt. We have a halloween party to attend tomorrow night and then one at our place next weekend. I have been working on costumes and planning for the party.
Weight is staying the same now, mainly cause I am eating way more carbs then I used too.
Not much else going on in my world. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Back from VA! Eating was pretty good this week. Not great, but not bad for being away.

NO plans this weekend, which is awesome for me. After being away all week, I just want to hang out.

Good morning!

All things considered, it was a pretty good weekend of eating with one exception being a small portion of some really awesome semolina bakery bread. I got a great run in on Saturday morning and a long bike ride on Sunday morning as well.

Yesterday's dinner was a crockpot of a ham bone, onion, fennel bulb, carrots, celery, spinach, tomatoes and white beans - just cooked with water. A very hearty soup! With enough leftovers for another night.

So happy to be home this week....

Its Monday and Im not feeling so great today, I will be happy when I have my surgery, only 1 more week left!! Im logged on from home today. My weight is still staying the same, which is fine by me, I am not trying to lose right now, just want to get my gallbladder out and return back to being normal.

This week I will be prepping for our Halloween party, which is Saturday night. Lots to do! I still have to figure out what munchies I am making, saw lots of cute stuff on Pinterest!

Not much else to report, I hope everyone hasa great week! Anyone thought of Thanksgiving yet? Its only a month away. At least I dont have to cook this year, not hosting at my house.

Hello!

I was up all night feeling like crap. But I am way too busy at work to even think about taking a sick day, but since I work from home - at least I can hang out in my PJs. I think it may just be allergies, but I've got the scratchy throat, watery eyes, etc.

Kelly, love the pics of your Halloween costume on FB! That mask is awesome.

Cindy, and that pic of you, Roger and Fletcher on FB was SO cute.

Had the leftovers of the ham bone soup last night. Doing Stuffed Mexi (red) peppers tonight.

Hmmmm...I just realized the last time Miss Tina posted was on the 10th. Hope everything is okay.

Good morning!

4-mile run and a good day of eating yesterday. Although I did have a very small glass of wine (it was a grueling work day with some very contentious issues.)

I think we are going to do 2 for 1 burger night, it's been a few weeks since we had our burger fix.

Hope you are all doing well!

Hi Girls,
Still plugging along! Weight was 183 this morning, so holding steady from what my weight was when this whole gallbladder thing started, will be happy after my surgery!

Still gearing up for our party this weekend, have a huge list of things to do and shopping list of stuff I still need to get.

Where is Tina and Cindy??

Hard to imagine that Saturday will be into November already! I heard on the news last night that October for the area I am in has been recorded as the warmest October ever, sucks its so rainy though.

Happy Humpday!!

Kelly, nice work holding steady on your weight with all that you are going through!

I was doing so well this week until Joe brought home the Halloween candy. Oooops. Yes, I ate 2 fun size Milky Ways. I will try to control myself tonight.

Had to switch to my jogging pants this morning, it was 44 when I went running. Hated going from shorts to pants!
