Hi everyone - no posts for ages - travel, summer, issues etc (or just plain not dieting - cough) have caused a slow down in our group.

I'm ready for the 'Oh My, it's only 4 months till Christmas' moment - so am trying to shake a virus so I can start JUDDD.

I'm also speaking with a theta healer - to unblock my own beliefs about me and food and me and business. I'll let you know how it goes!

Hi all!

Popping in, thanks Vicky for starting us off in the new thread!

I caught the nasty D and V virus that was going round, and I'm now left with a persistent cold! Time to get back to basics and focus on cooking nourishing foods and taking care of myself. This autumnal weather in August isn't helping things either!

I'm really hoping for some warmer weather, this morning I was seriously considering putting on the heating in the bathroom... 7 degrees is so not ok!!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well,

xxx Chloe.

Hello!

We’ve just had friends staying for a few days, so lots of eating and drinking, and not much time to hide away quietly. I was just getting close to being back to my pre-French trip weight, so I’m going back on alternate days for a while to finish the post-holiday correction. Apart from a weekend trip to see my parents, I should be able to keep to a reasonable eating pattern till the end of October.

Nice to see the thread picking up a bit again .

What happened to summer? I’m sitting thinking about closing the curtains (the back of the ground floor isn’t overlooked, so I only close them in the winter to keep warm). It’s still August! This isn’t right.

Hi all!

Hope everyone is going to enjoy the sunshine today! (at least here we have some for a change)

I'm just happy we can turn of our heating again, LOL!

Shy: I hope you are ok, sounds like you need some extra uplifting! Sending lots of pain healing thoughts your way... Cruise sounds lovely, I am sending good weather vibes... Will need them too, as we are going on holiday on the Dutch coast as well in that time!

Ailuros: sounds like you have a good plan going to get back on track.

Cindy: same as shy, I keep up on FB, but just wanted to say I'm thinking of you all... Hope DD is doing a bit better.

Vicky: am very interested to hear about you experience with the theta healer...

Everyone else: hope you are all ok, I am missing a lot of you! Please when you do see our thread, pop in just to say hi!

I'm back to my old self again, feeling good! Getting a special thingy for my desk so I can stand and work as wel as sit. I have been badgering my boss about this for ages, and now finally I'm going to be sorted! Will let you all know what it's like once it's installed and in use! I will try for 15 minutes every hour of standing up, working to about 30 minutes per hour. That should really help my back and I think it will help with inchloss too, which is a nice bonus!

Thought I'd post my menu for today:

B: creme fraiche, almond butter, evco
L: salad, feta, saurkraut, smoked mackerel
D: herb and cheese omelette

xxx Chloe

Hi all, started then disappeared! Been extremely busy at work - and fighting a chest infection!

Have had one session with the theta healer on business. Very interesting - uses something called muscle testing to try and get to the route problem. I do feel it has worked. I'm certainly feeling way more confident about work - and whilst I'm still out selling - I don't feel nervous about it.

I still have the weight loss session to go - had to cancel as I needed to go to the drs - cost will do next week.

Currently eating and not moving - get rid of this infection & then I'll start!

Just under 4 months till Christmas hols in the UK!

Lovely, Kissa. I hope it was a good break for you!

Vicky, hope you’re feeling better soon — it’s nice to have you with us again .

I’m just about to head up for a weekend with my parents. They’re struggling a bit these days, and my father’s older brother has just been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, so they’re really starting to be conscious of having limited time left — so I want to visit a bit more often, to spend time with them while I can.

I truly think that keeping the little critters in the bowels happy!

I take a probiotic twice a day, take fermented cod liver oil, some DE and eat fermented foods like creme fraiche, saurkraut and such. You could also help things by taking a GABA supplement and L-Glutamine. They are good prebiotics too. And if all the resistant starch stuff is to be believed, that's also good... Good luck, hope you feel better soon Ailuros!

Yes Ailuros, look after your gut.

Things not really any better with DD1, but we struggle on. I am trying hard to get this weight off at last. I haven't had the heart for a few months.

Walking through autumn leaves yesterday would you believe.

I’ve got some of those things, Mimosa, but have been neglecting them. I’ll restart when I get back home (Sunday). Off out for lunch now!

Glad you are healing Vicky, can't have both my girls poorly.

I am enjoying this little Indian summer, sat in the park yesterday enjoying the sunshine and a latte.

Off to the gym shortly for my only class this week. Will be in Southend on Thursday then on Friday we fly to France.
