Well, I will post here then - as I mentioned too hard during the day to keep up on FB, of course with being at work.

Work is crazy busy - We are just so frustrated with the new guy - and yes, he's the one we picked, lol. He does great with the students on the phone and in person, but it's the day to day stuff that he doesn't get.....and he has no specific responsibilities, really, as of yet.......he doesn't come in on time, beats it outta work on time, makes sure he takes his lunch (even if he really shouldn't at THAT specific time). It's just a combo of stuff......I have talked to him. I talked to my boss - I kind of am the spokesperson for the group and the undesignated lead......I also have an email typed up to my team with some "FYI's" and "Head's Up", type things as we enter into our even busier period, our super goes on maternity leave and we have our Dean supervising us during that time......it's a little stressful some days.

DSIL will be back this weekend to get Artie - he heads to FL in 6 weeks. Hard to believe. I think I am heading back early June before he gets there - then they will need some time to reacclimate before they have company. DD loves her new car.

Celebrating Mother's Day this weekend. We are leaving in a week for Montreal/Quebec City, Fri-Tues. DD26 will have her first Mother's Day to herself....which I told her to take advantage of. DSIL's parents are in India till the 13th, I believe. Tomorrow I am whisking her away for coffee and pedi's, then they are coming for dinner.

Weather is crappy here - hoping for sun this weekend.

I think that's it for me for now. I will save my parent issues for another post, lol!

LCFs is a pain cuz I have to enter my password every time and half the time it says it's wrong so I have to redo it several times. It's that way with all my threads

Hi!

Cindy - sorry he isn't working out. He knows he can be fired, right?
Especially for coming in late!

Sounds like the next few weeks will be fun!

Becky - LCF won't remember my password on my phone. It's a pain to log in anywhere but the laptop.

So, I guess you both are telling me you won't be popping in here?

Not sure if I have to enter my password or not, but I don't think it's that cumbersome!

Well, I guess if anything significant happens or is newsworthy, you can always text me!

Celebrating Mother's Day today with DD26.
Also just booked a trip back to FLA in June to see DD!!

Cindy - it's only cumbersome when I can't remember it!
It always takes me 2-3 times to figure it out!

Where have you been today?
No excuses on the weekends!

What did you do with DD today?

Busy weekend - they always are trying to catch up because during the week there is no time. I don't want to come home at night and clean, do stuff around here. I am gone in the a.m. by 7:30, and usually don't get home, at the earliest, 4:45.....then if I need to work out, make dinner........nope, cleaning, yard, not happening!

Great day with DD26. Lovely Mother's Day celebration. DD loved I surprised her with coffee and a pedi! Then we went to Target - she so appreciated being able to shop nonchalantly for an hour.....you take that for granted when you have babies/kids in tow! They came over last night and we had a great dinner (mexican at DDs request), we had gifts for each other.....and played Euchre after dinner...it's become a ritual and nice to sit around and laugh and chat.

DSIL #2 stopped over for a while, we got caught up with him and he took Artie - I have had him for two weeks! His sister had a baby about a week ago, so he was spending time with his family the rest of the weekend.

And yay! I booked another trip to FLA for the first weekend in June!

Another busy day ahead, laundry, a few errands - returns on some pants I bought and decided didn't like....grilling for dinner....

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

You realize it's just going to be us chatting, unless you join the other party too!

Now that I think about it, wasn't it your idea?

Sounds like a lovely Mother's Day for both of you!
What did she give you?

I'm debating going to Chicago next weekend since it will be hard for the kids to come here .....

I know it was my idea, lol.
I didn't know everyone would be chatting all day every day.
I can't keep up......I do have to go to work.

We had a lovely day.
She bought me an amazing make up brush along with an illuminating product I had been coveting. Then Fletcher made me a card and gave me a potted (they painted the pot) Cilantro plant. I am obsessed with Cilantro.

I'd go to Chicago.

DD27 sent me 3 bracelets ~ just like the black ones I bought you a few years ago for your birthday!! These are orange and blue! Go Illini!

Some days are more chatty than others. Usually even if they're a ton a messages, I can read them in 5 minutes. They're really short.

Debbie's DH has to have shoulder surgery on Friday and one of her DIL's, Sarah, had surgery at 1:00am!
