Good Sunday morning!

Up early and a few hours before I head for the golf course, so I'm into my 2nd load of laundry already! When I get home from golf, I'll be SO glad I did my laundry now as I'll be too pooped to think about it then! I was really tired and my feet hurt yesterday when I got home from golf and I didn't sleep very well last night. I should have taken an AdvilPM when I went to bed.....I won't forget tonight. I want to feel good tomorrow morning so I can head to boot camp bright and early.

Speaking of boot camp, I've been doing it consistently for 15 months. We have a studio dedicated to boot camp and 4 different trainers. A lot of us have been doing it for quite a while and we are like a family. It's nice when you look forward to going to work out. We never know what the workout will be, so it keeps your muscles guessing all the time. I spend a lot of my life with sore muscles.

We had a beautiful day on the golf course yesterday and today promises to be better yet. I hit some nice shots......and some not so nice. That's golf for you.

Ok...enough about me. Hope you all are having a nice weekend and enjoy your Sunday....whatever you're up to!

Lori---Have fun on the golf course!

Trigger---WTG on those 2 pounds!

Blue---WTG on getting down to 181.5. It sounds like you and Trigger are really in the zone these days!

I got up this morning to a pound lost, finally!! I finally got to see a new low number. I haven't really been tracking the last few days. Cheat Friday night, and LC yesterday. I'm pretty sure I was below 20 yesterday. I haven't tracked anything yet today either. It's getting to be really annoying to me now.

I had my trusty meat lovers omelet earlier with some of that Everything bread. Yuck! Toasted and still not good at all. I'm not sure what I will do with it, but I'm just going to keep eating the Sara Lee bread. It tastes good and 13 carbs isn't that bad for 2 slices. It's a rainy day today but I'm still hoping for a cookout later. It's the kind of day you just wanna lay around and do a whole lot of nothin'. Lazy Sunday for sure

Hi all.

Lori---wow, 15 months at BC, that's terrific! Guess by now your body has adjusted to the muscle building and it's not affecting your weight loss. But it may be allowing you to eat more and maintain. You've probably increased your metabolism significantly.

Trigger---Good work on the 2 pounds down! You are so good at setting your hat on motoring off bloat. I bet if you went 2 weeks on super clean LC, under 20 NCs a day, and lots of water, you'd drop at least 2 more lbs to 196. What about setting yourself a mini challenge like that? 2 weeks only sounds like forever, LOL, it will fly by!

As for me, FINALLY, I saw 180 this AM. 180.5 to be exact, another half pound down. First new number I've seen in about 2 months. Happy, although don't want to get too excited because I know there might be a bounce up.

BUT, interestingly, haven't had one bounce up since I got back from SD. 6 days without a bounce up is unheard of for me. Maybe as msgoody suggested last week, the trip to San Diego reset the meter a bit, in combination with my concentration on lower carbs and more water.

And I'm not gulping the water down this time to get it done. I'm drinking it more slowly but continuously throughout the day. 6 to 8 glasses every day, gulp by gulp.

In any case, nothing motivates me to eat even cleaner than dropping pounds. Already have my tracker all filled in for today, it's become a good road map for me. I can see at the beginning of the day what the results of whatever my choices are will be. I often decide against foods, or less of them, by doing this.

Fingers crossed for more down, less bounce, 179 here I come. I hope.

Very dreary and cool again here today. Hubby has a nice fire going so I'm off to read in front of it. Cozy is good if you can't have the sun.

msgoody---we were posting at the same time and didn't see yours. Thanks for reminding me that I'm actually a pound down from yesterday, not a half pound as I stated above.

YAY on that pound down for you! Even if it's not all about the scale, it sure is motivating to see the darn thing go down, yes?

I didn't like the Everything Bread either. Had one slice, and yeah even toasting and buttering didn't save it. The rest is still frozen, might just throw it out, don't think it would even make good croutons. Interesting how the onion pockets, bagels, and for me, the lemon squares, can be so good, and this bread so bad.

I like the Sara Lee hamburger and hot dog buns for around the same NCs as their bread. For bread I mostly do Trader Joe's sprouted wheat as it's half the carbs as Sara Lees. But when I really want a bun I do the Sara Lee.

Back from the golf course! I shot 11 shots better than yesterday, so I was pleased. I blew up on a couple of holes, but that's to be expected.

All this talk of pounds gone! You all are awesome! And then there's me..... Not sure if I'll weigh myself tomorrow or wait till Thursday. I'll see how I feel in the morning. Probably won't be a good idea to weigh tomorrow as I drank a few lite beers this weekend.

I'm all showered and enjoying a cup of decaf coffee. I'm sure I'll be in bed early tonight. I walked 7 miles yesterday and 7 today while chasing that little white ball around.

Enjoy your evening and I'll "talk" to you on Monday!

Well it was nice to see that 147, but somehow I just knew there would be a bounce up. We did end up having a cookout for dinner. I had to really persuade my husband, because it was so cold out there. This crazy Kansas weather! Saturday it was 90 degrees and yesterday it was 40. This morning I woke up to snow on the ground and my minivan. It's annoying to say the least.

My husband ended up buying me a computer for my birthday. Our other computer finally died a couple weeks ago. It had been on its way out for a long time. I came home from grocery shopping Saturday and he wasn't home yet from running his errands, so I went right to sleep. Being out of ketosis really kicks my butt! Anyway, I got up and he was setting it up. It was a nice surprise! I knew he was up to something lol

Boy, that ketosis really does a number on me. I get so exhausted, so quickly! It makes me really moody. Gives me a headache. In a way, it's strange to me. My kids after having their carbs are so wild and hyperactive and it does the total opposite for me. When I'm in ketosis I'm happy, energetic, low appetite. That cheat was so not worth it! The food was disgusting and the restaurant was awful. I'm still looking forward to going to the casino, but we decided to wait another week or two to go. I'm not going to cheat though. That's what this has taught me. It's just not worth feeling so bad. Another day or two and I'll be back in ketosis and feeling great again!

Good morning Michelle & all to follow!

Congrats on the new computer Michelle! How sweet of DH to do that for you!

I woke up feeling great this morning and had an awesome boot camp session. The trainer even complimented me on how hard I worked. After boot camp instead of feeling dead tired and dragging thru my morning, I'm peppy! I was trying to think what I did differently that might have made a difference. The only thing I can think of was I ate a tortilla yesterday afternoon with chicken & veggies in it. It wasn't a low carb tortilla, as I was eating at the golf club. Could it be that I need a few more carbs than I've been eating? I wasn't losing on little to no carb, so maybe the next step is having a few more? I need to figure it out because I'd love to feel this way most days instead of dragging!

I'll figure this old body out one of these days!

Hope you're all having a good start to your week!

msgoody---Nice hubby! What a great gift. Talk about something we all use every day in so many ways. New computers are much faster too, bet you'll love that.

Yes, bad cheats can really be a lesson in what's worth it. IMO, best to make off plan moments all about high quality food, and not necessarily real high carb. So for me, a good cheat night now might be a steak, salad, some really good bread, and a small dessert. This is what I did in SD, and I didn't have the horrible, stuffed, tired feeling I did when I went hog wild at a holiday party last year, and didn't bloat up too bad from it. There's nothing like time on this woe to put us in the saddle we need to be in, and learn what works, what doesn't, and what we like.

Lori---LC experts say you can adapt to exercise on this woe, and often cite athletes who have. I was also interested to read recently that several football teams have adapted LC eating while in training. BUT, from a word of mouth POV, I've definitely heard folks struggle w/it. You're doing so much exercise that I would think you could experiment with upping your carbs a bit before working out and see how it works. If you gain, you'll know. If not, why not feel better after working out.

Trig---

Cold here today too. Sunny, but windy and brrrrrrrrrr. Didn't realize it and sailed out the house this AM dressed for spring. WRONG!

After my appt. I had errands to run so I did a drive thru Hardee's thick burger lettuce wrap. Haven't done this in a long time and it tasted really good. Love the fact that Hardees wraps the lettuce burger in a nice paper pocket that makes it so neat and easy to eat.

Tonight will be some slice pork on a GLCBC onion pocket/w mayo, maybe a sliced tomato. Should be easily under 20 NCs today, and drinking water as I type and work.

Down to 180.2 this AM. Small loss but noteworthy in that it wasn't a bounce up, my 7th day in a row w/out one. Oh, and saw 179 flash by first. That was fun. Let me know it's there and just waiting for me to hang in there w/more carb discipline and more water!

Jumping back in to say I had to return something to Target and just got back WITH a new pair of skinny jeans in a size 14! They're a bit snug around the waist, but nothing 5 pounds down won't cure, and they look great now as long as I don't tuck something in.

Buying a bit snug works wonders in motivation for me, and I was out of inspiration pieces as everything I've bought in the last months fits well now. I love that you can feel how you're body is changing when you try on a piece you bought a bit snug over the weeks that follow.

Anyway, good day on the woe, feeling positive and motivated!

WTG Blue!! I had a similar experience today when I got home from work. I dug out some workout clothes that used to be impossible to get into and now I can wear them, but they'll look a lot better with 10 or so pounds off.

Congrats on the skinny jeans!

Hey Lori---So happy to hear you had a similar experience today. I really do think that clothing is the best barometer of all, far better than the scale in many ways. I think most of us want to look good, however we define that. IMO, feeling like we look as good, vibrant and healthy in life as we can, no matter our age, is a big part of the motivation that keeps us striving and being really alive---even if we left our youth behind years ago.

One more thing tonight, oh gals, I had the BEST dinner. Hubby's sliced roast sirloin pork on a GLCBC toasted onion pocket, spread w/butter and mayo, with slices of roasted onion. Holy Moly, I felt like I was cheating my pants off---it was that good. But I wasn't!

I know I'm starting to be a nag about this, but you guys must try the GLCBC onion pockets. I've perfected exactly how much I like them toasted, and I'm telling y'all, again, they are the BEST. Can hardly believe I could have this sandwhich tonight and still end the day UNDER 20 NCs. But I can, and I did!

Morning!

It's going to be a long day. My cat decided it was time for me to get up at 3:30. This time of year, she is anxious to go out in the morning. She'll have to start sleeping outside if she keeps this up.

I just ordered some onion pockets from Netrition. I hope they are the ones that you are talking about Blue. I'm anxious to get them. I got restocked with low carb tortillas and with the onion pockets, I'll have some different options.

Stepped on the scale this morning and I'm down 1.5 since my last weigh in on Thursday. I sure wish the scale would start moving down on a regular basis.

Had a great boot camp session yesterday. The trainer even sent me a text complimenting me on my 100% effort. I'll be heading out for another session in an hour or so.

Have a great Tuesday!

Lori---well ma'm, around these parts we consider a pound and a half down after no loss for awhile worthy of this...----not to mention the note from the trainer. Afraid we'll have to also apply this...

Now that I've made such a fuss, sure hope you like those onion pockets.

As for me, I'll take a TA DA!!! 179.5 this AM. Couldn't believe my eyes. I read this on the ML yesterday, I think it's from Dr. Eades, not sure.

"You want to hang in there until you get to what was called in the old medical literature the dynamic weight stage. The dynamic weight stage is when weight is changing rapidly in either an upward or downward direction. Anyone who has gained or lost a lot of weight has experienced this. You can gain rapidly once you get into this phase, but ultimately you stabilize and hit the static weight phase. It works the same going the other way. Once you get your weight loss momentum built up, you seem to lose effortlessly while in this dynamic phase. This is where you want to be."

Well, this is where I hope I am. "Dynamic weight stage." I Likey, LOL.
So this just really motivates the heck out of me. Another day of low low carbs and lots and lots of water comin' up!

Annoyed.....

WTG Lori!!

Ok. I am seriously ready to pull my own hair out! I am up 3 pounds and I am not cheating. I guess I should be though. I'm eating the same stuff I always eat, so I don't know whats going on here. Maybe water weight from working out, or muscle, but I'm also out of ketosis. I was climbing back up and now nothing again. i'm super annoyed and ready to throw in the towel. This happens when I'm out of ketosis. UGH! Rant over!

I'm sorry about my rant, but I am just so ticked off right now!

Thanks for the props ladies!

Blue........congratulations! That scale is dropping like a stone for you! Where can I get me some of that "dynamic weight change" stuff?

Michelle...hang in there. You know you're doing everything right, so that 3 lbs is not fat. You'll have a big whoosh one of these days.

A rainy, dreary day and I'm tired. That dang furry alarm clock and her 3:30 wake up call. Then, I get home from boot camp and I'm at the kitchen sink trying to make my protein shake and I step back and she is right behind me and I almost fall over her. She does that ALL the time. Sometimes she is sprawled out and if I stepped back I would step squarely on her stomach! I think she's trying to kill me.

Ok.....back to the paperwork. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

msgoody---This bounce is all water. Count on it. How many glasses of water do you drink a day? One thing's for sure, the more you drink today and tomorrow the faster this bloat will leave.

How do you judge whether you're in ketosis? do you do the stix? Good to note that those stix are notoriously untrustworthy. Many threads on this. Some ARE in ketosis when the stix say they aren't.

Still, I know how frustrating this can be. SO been there. You're being really good on the woe and you not only don't lose, you gain. Sucks an egg. But it's
TEMPORARY. Like the quote says above says, you hang in there whistle clean with lots of water, and the scale eventually surrenders.

So back away from the window with that towel------and don't be throwing that towel anywhere.

Blue congrats on those pants. I know that feeling is just wonderful! and congrats on that low.

I am not doing weight loss thinking right now. all about the birthday today. Kiddo is 9. have MIL coming for dinner around 5, 6 is cake and presents. went out last night to the store and we got Nicole her bike. adult ladies bike with gears that she wanted so bad. so now she has it. Got myself a bike also she killed mine literally, so 2 new bikes in the house.

gonna start a bit of biking. something I love actually. when I can't fit in a horse ride. maybe moving more IF THE WEATHER cooperates will help me get in line. 5 straight days of rain here and I am going mad.

doing good. lc but heavy lc. gotta lighten the calories big time. heavy lc keeps me absolutely satisified but time to get the scale to drop more now. so cutting back on portions is cruical for me now.

everyone have a great day. b-day time for us tonight here

Trigger---HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the kiddo from me! "Auntie Blue", LOL, is sending her a virtual hug and wishes for a brilliant year ahead.

7 to 10 years old is the best heart of childhood, imo. They're getting smarter and yet still innocents. They're funny and more observant, but still letting us protect them. They're more interesting than ever, but still think we parents hung the moon. They still let us protect them and hug them, and they still like being w/us---still in our nest, and not yet ready for everything that gets so complicated the second their hormones start working, and they begin the journey through being a teenager. So yeah mama, wishing you too, a brilliant year ahead w/Nicole. Enjoy before the hormones strike, LOL.

Good job on the bikes. What a great way to get in some exercise---pedaling w/your darlin' girl!

Tonight I'm having a repeat of last night's dinner. Left over sliced pork, roasted onion, mayo and butter on toasted GLCBC onion pocket. Should come in under 20NCs again today, and doing really well on my water.

Now I'm off to GLCBC to order more onion pockets, and some lemon bars! Got it down to these two for me, but will be interested to see what they come up w/in the future. Someone on the ML said she'd spoken w/them and they're going to be introducing new products.

Good Morning!

Sunny morning, but cold! Only in the 20's to start...getting up to the 40's. Sunday I wore shorts to play golf and today I'm back to winter coat and gloves.

I didn't weigh myself this morning, but I had kind of a non-scale victory. I put on a light weight boat neck sweater and when I looked in the mirror, I was a bit shocked. Where have my chubby upper arms and shoulders gone? I've been lamenting the fact that my jeans are not getting looser, but apparently, it's the upper body's turn to lose. When I first started losing, the weight came off my hips and thighs, but now my upper body seems to be melting! I'll take it!

Getting my hair cut and colored after work today and I can't wait. I'm letting it grow into a bob, but need it shaped. Also, I want to go lighter blonde in my base color and then put my signature, blonde, purple and red highlites in it. I get more comments on the purple and red......love them! I enjoy going to my salon. As soon as I walk in the door they offer me a glass of wine. It is much appreciated after a day of work!

Today is my rest day from exercise. I'm tempted to go to the local ice cream shop for a peanut butter milkshake for lunch. I probably should have that on a boot camp day, but I'm jonesing for it today! We'll see how I feel about 1 o'clock.

Have a good day!

Lori---That's so great to see the progress in your arms! Have you taken measurements? That's a better gauge of what your body is doing anyway. You may have even gained inches replacing that fat in your arms with muscle! Muscle speeds up your metabolism. YAY muscle!

Blue---Yes, I use the keto stix. It is strange. I generally feel really terrible when out of ketosis. No energy, but I don't really have that, but I am very moody. So, I may or may not be out of ketosis. DH says it could still be the effects of my cheat. It's possible I guess. It's just all very frustrating. I'm doing all the right things and gaining weight! I'm also working out everyday and I know that my muscles start retaining water when I start doing that so, I'm trying not to put so much stock in that stupid scale.

There's no change today. I'm still trucking along and getting ready to workout soon.

Have a great day on plan!

Gads gals, the weather here today is so horrible it's hard to put into words. But that won't stop me from trying. Sleety snow, cold, windy, gray and dark. Yep, that about sums it up. This is spring?!?!?!?!

Lori---SO cool on the NSV! Toned upper arms and shoulders look so good, and this kind of thing is really more important than what the scale tells us. With your exercise schedule I'm not surprised you're getting these results. What we weigh is so irrelevant in so many ways---it's how we feel and look!

LOVE getting my hair colored and cut too, (although I'm just a boring "sun streaked" blonde) such a pick-me-up and there's nothing like a good cut. Your combo of red, blonde and purple sounds so intriguing---I think you're quite the pip!

msgoody---Hmmm. Hard to believe everything you describe is still the effects of the cheat. My guess? You're working muscles you haven't worked for awhile, and they're retaining water and it's as simple as that.

I think we ALWAYS have to be very aware of the "tyranny" of the scale. When we look and feel better, we are better---as per i.e. the case of Lori above, who isn't dropping pounds right now, but IS looking and feeling better.

Good day for me, lots of work done, harmonious edit---love it when that happens---and a good Greek salad w/gyros meat for lunch. LOVE that gyros meat! Tonight will be polish sausage links, done up w/tomatoes, onions, banana peppers and celery seed---a LC "Chicago hot dog." Will come in under 20 NCs. Also, keeping my cals around 1500, sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less.

Was 179.6 this am, a tenth up. Meh, won't count it as a bounce. Am really feeling good about my lack of bounce lately, and it really motivates me to keep doing what I'm doing. Less carbs, more water.

Good Morning!

Well, I'm not sure what's going on, but the scale was down another 1.5 lbs this morning! So....that's 3 lbs down in my week of no peanut butter. Not sure if the loss will "stick", but it was nice to finally see a lower number for a change!

I was a bit late getting up this morning, so not as much time to surf the web before boot camp. My cat actually came and got me up just a few minutes before the alarm would have gone off. My alarm almost never goes off as I wake up and turn it off.

I'll pop in later to check on you all. Have a good morning!

congrats lori!!

Blue keep up the wonderful posts. I sure love reading them!!

very true MsGoody. when the real exercise kicks in, the scale changes and you can't rely on it the same way as we used too. You rock on! tone up that body!

no change here. eating heavier lc again but that is ok vs. anything else I could be doing. getting my ducks in a row, gotta hit the store and go shopping to get things for my 'old meals' when I started and going to repeat some of those. I lose so well on certain meals.

many say 'repeating the same meals' and eating them without much changes helps the body lose. Do you guys think that? or is it all the about carb numbers/calorie numbers in the day that matters? he, just thinking

busy busy. this time is super busy for me right now. just gotta get off the computer and get it all done LOL
hold strong everyone

Is it too late to join a challenge? I recently lost over 20 pounds at an office challenge....when it was over I lost my motivation.....I need serious help! I can't find a shred of "I care".....please, somebody, I'm serious.

How do I get past this to get motivated again? I know someone somewhere has faced this and overcome it.

Hi Judy

boy do some of us know the 'I don't care'. been there many times. SOMEHOW I pull myself out of it.

I think (FOR ME!) I kinda had to look past 'being on a diet and HAVE to lose this fat'.
I had to switch the thinking to 'I want to eat a certain way thru life'. AND THEN DO IT!

If I take some of the pressure off me about 'fat loss' and put that energy into 'reading, learning recipes, foods about low carb' then I seem to be more 'into the change and making' the lc way of life happen.

and it takes time to grieve for the foods we lost. the junky stuff we love to eat the comfort foods. the sweet treats etc. I still have some flashes and set backs of 'cravings and wanting desires' of old foods. but longer and longer on plan it seems to fade more and more.

I went out to eat with the family. hubby got big burger and fries, kiddo got the calabash shrimp and fries and I had grilled chicken on salad. USUALLY I GRAB 4-5 fries during a meal. NOT this time. I looked at them and said, bleck. not today, maybe another time I might eat a few.

when I look at the fries I say---is that MY WAY OF low carb eating? nope. sometimes I win this and stick with my new changes to my eating--sometimes I might try a few. BUT the key is I am not ordering any fries with my meal. longer and longer on plan you realize you WANT this change of eating and you just don't order the foods. or make them at home. I always make mac/cheese for the family, fries, taters, corn on the cob, breads in the house, snacks/sweets in the house. I just don't view them as I used too.

not because I am dieting, but because they aren't part of HOW I REALLY WANT to live my life. I want lc in my life.

motivation for me is pick something and do it
I want lc in my life. I just do it now! weight loss is a monster plus and losing inches is stellar thing to happen when the scale stays the same!!!

I hope some of that helps you in some way. everyone has great motivation when we start.....we all wane at some point and grieve our changes....but we get other benefits along wtih the grieving, we get our scale lower . it doesn't go fast so don't be discouraged. weight loss NEVER goes fast for anyone at all. we all plod along and help each other! great people on this thread to give ya more help.

Hello LCF's

Judy!

I really can relate to you right now. I am having such a hard time. Yesterday, I was so discouraged I ended up just going on a crazy food fest binge. Nothing was off limits. I can say I felt horrible last night. So bloated! I ate what everyone else ate for dinner, which was chicken fried rice with soy sauce. I am a girl that loves her rice. Unfortunately it doesn't love me back. I also took a dive into the peanut butter. Love my PB!

Honestly, I'm still not sure what to do about diet. I've got lots of thoughts going thru my mind. I considered just switching over to low calorie. That's how yesterday started, but I was starving so I went nuts! Obviously, low calorie is not for me. So far today I'm low carbing, but I'm so weak at this point. This is what cheats do for me. I know I can't cheat because I know I can't get back on the wagon. That's just how it has always worked for me. This is not where I want to be. I need at least 10 more pounds off of me, and realistically more than that so there's a little cushion.

I'm still working out everyday. So that's something I guess. I'm finding I can't add those other foods on the rungs in. I can increase the carbs ok with no negative effects though. So I'll try to focus on that first but for now I'm just eating 20 or less. I'm taking it one day at a time. It's all I can do. I didn't weigh in this morning and probably won't for a few days. However, the poop fairy made a visit this morning which is great! That had been lacking and I was feeling pretty badly just because of that.

Anyway, I'm trying to get back up on this horse. Thanks to all of you for being here and listening. I appreciate it more than you know!

Seems like we're all having our moments of doubt this week. I think it's only natural. I've been doing more reading on the Fast 5 plan and was considering doing that along with low carb, but that would mean no protein shake right after boot camp and I REALLY look forward to that. Sigh.....what to do, what to do?

Hang in there everyone. Don't beat yourself up, be kind to yourself.

Sometimes we just need a break from it all. The important thing is to be mindful and not let things get out of hand. Easier said than done, I know.

Take care everyone and have a nice Easter weekend.

Welcome Judy!

Trigger---Great post from you today! The lifestyle vs. diet thing is huge and you put it perfectly. More on this below. Meantime, I have never heard eating the same meals over and over helps weight loss. For me it would drive me crazy. Need the variety.

msgoody---Sorry you're struggling. It's harder to stay motivated when we're not dropping weight. But you've done SO well. We simply have to accept that it's a marathon not a sprint---at least if you want to combine weight loss w/good eating habits for you over the long haul. Can't depend on the scale to keep you going, have to find those NSVs. And if you're going to exercise, you really do have to accept that it might bump the scale up, and say so what?---if you look and feel better.

Lori---Congrats on the 1.5 down. Inch by inch, pound by pound...

So OK, I hear a lot of discouragement here, so I'm going to pull rank, because I'm the oldest of all of you, and been there done that more than y'all just because I've had more time to do it.

This is the third time I've lost the same 50 pounds, and the third time BETTER be the charm or I'm just not getting it. And I AM going to get it, because I'm NOT doing this again. NOPE. NOT. I guess it has to get that important to you.

Here's the deal. A. You're working the woe really hard and eventually losing (and part of the "hard" includes several struggle's w/one's patience.) B. You're doing what you can at this time and maintaing. C. You're gaining.

A and B are best and second best. Both A and B are about a lifestyle, not a diet---A is just when we're more intense and committed to it. C is about when you say what the heck, fall off the wagon, and gain it all back. C is about when it was really just a "diet" for you to begin with.

And NO MATTER WHAT YOU'RE DOING, A, B and C WILL apply. So no matter what new "miracle plan" you are considering, if you think it's going to be a miracle, I can tell you---It. Will. Not. Be.

Low Carb isn't for everyone. It is for me for many reasons, but this is something we must all decide for ourselves. But whatever we decide works best for us, if we don't figure out how to make it a lifestyle, we gain it all back. Yes, we do.

So ultimately it comes down to our commitment to our health and how we feel and look, versus FOOD. It's really just that. It's not easy, but it is a clear choice.

Ok, lecture over, and I'll thank you all to talk sense to me when I'm wavering. But right now, I'm not. NOT going back to where I was, and this is the best thing for me.
