good morning Deb! I have grown to really like good days. That's one of the cool things about getting older. When I was younger I liked good days too, but now I can savor them in such a way as that younger man could not.

Hope you have another good day! Good to hear the foot is almost back to normal.

Well is a nice day out there. Walked over to go my Tim's this morning and we have another hour before we have to have to go out for the boys braces appointment so going to relax and enjoy it, Then hair appointments and hour later, Lunch at Wendy's , the boys favorite, shopping the list , stalking up on a suitcase full of fresh veggie, and dinner tonight with one of my good friends that lives in town. Oh and yes the bank to visit something else we don't have so I just collect checks till we get down here So what's everyone plans Cheryl if the ice didn't break till June people would go insane, no the ice breaks in April or the lasted early May normally but there has been nothing normal about this winter. It should be a very cool breakup since the ice is so thick this week. Your doing great on Induction keep it up I am going to join you on Thursday for a month of nothing but induction that's my plan and I have done it before so will again.

Jackie Probably best to just start over again - Dont lose hope.. Lots of people get such good results they just stay in induction phase (under 20g) for months, so in the end it doesn't really matter where you start. Personally I just kind of skipped induction and try to maintain a LC lifestyle under 50g. It works great if you are not a schmuck like me and go off the rails on the weekends
To find the threads you have been chatting on go under User Control Panel.. Anything that has popped up new since the last time you read/commented will be on there. To get to your last spot, click on the link to the thread (not a page number but the actual title of the thread).. When the thread opens on the first page there is a little spot on the top of the first comment that says 'View First Unread'.. Hit that and it will pop you to the first new comment you have not read.. Easy Peesy.

So.. Squat Challenge.. Day 9.
I missed Sunday so I did my 80 squats yesterday and decided to skip my 'rest day' today to make sure I was on track with where I was supposed to be.. Little did I know that after this rest day my squats jumped up 20! So this morning I checked my sheet and almost lost my marbles when I saw 100 squats for the day. (it also doesn't help that we finally have a thaw for the first time in 4 months and I spent 1/2hr squatting picking up doggy poo last night ).. Anywho.. 5 sets of 20 and we are now done day 9! I even have pulled up a low chair to make sure my bum hits so I am getting low enough.. this one was very, very challenging and bothered my knee a little bit.. Hoping I can keep going.. 1/3 done the challenge! Now if I could just get the bloody motivation to do some cardio, that would be awesome.

15 floors Deb that a lot of exercise on its own, Glad your foot is better. Misty don't you just hate when people unplug freezers. But thing happen when things are busy. You seem to have a great time with the fire department. GB I love good days too and I think I am going to have one today. Make a person appreciate the world around them. Just getting my hair cut makes it a good day, Misty so sorry about the infection and I know you find these trips to Boston exhausting I hope he is feeling better soon. I feel like a lot of our stress from hospital trips is almost behind us but its still showing on my waistline , Jackie and welcome I just go to support groups, LC challenge, then find Back in the saddle and I know I am home. It gets easier with time. Were a very friendly bunch and would love if you join us, were not perfect but we never give up. V I would love to start BBQing just not sure hat snow pile to hovel out to get to it. Deb hope you get to keep the check , bonus!!

Krista you are doing so good with the squat very motivating to some of us that aren't doing enough exercise. I am scared of the snow melting I think we may need a shovel for all the doggie poop . every time e thought about cleaning it up is snowed again and covered it ..yikes. Well I should get off of here and get the boys moving, et this crazy day begin.

Beautiful day. I've been out enjoying the sun. I saw some Spring bulbs poking thru.

No weight loss today. The honeymoon is over.

Misty. Oh no. DH ear infected ! How big an area did they remove? Poor guy. And another trip to Boston. Hope the storm doesn't hit you too bad. Is your lake still frozen?

No looking forward to you joining me. Sounds like you are having a good time in Timms. I wasn't sure when you thawed out up there I loved your ice break pictures. It is hard to imagine. And a suitcase of veggies ! Island living !

Krista that is a lot of squats. How many will you be doing at the end?

Deb on the truck! on the check. You've been a busy girl. No wonder you slept well and long. Did you enjoy the new trail run?

I'm paying for taking 2 weeks off of exercise. Hip pain from starting again. I will have to go back to square one when it subsides.

Hey Everyone!

Everyone!

Great to see some familiar friends here and some new faces. I am bouncing back from a pretty big weight gain over the holidays. Started trying to get rid of it on Feb. 19th when I weighed in at 172 (5'6") and I'm down 9.7 lbs to 162.3 as of this morning.

I decided today to do Stillman until we leave for Puerto Vallarta on April 5 for 4 weeks. Exercise has been hard because I hurt my knee a few weeks ago doing C25K. Just got a clean (ish) bill of health to start speed walking again but my jogging "career" is over.

My biggest issue remains that I work an obscene amount of hours and have little time to get here for support from my buddies. With you all I CAN do this!!

So... to Get Back In That Saddle In March I need to:

Daily: Clean Stillman
Daily: WATER!!!!!
Daily: Face that scale
Daily: No wine!
Daily: Reduce Stress (how will I do THAT without wine?)
4x week - speed walk 2-4 miles

I would love to weigh in at 150 on April 5, but I am not going to stress over it!

Haha.. Oh Sooz.. I work for a winery and bring home bottles with me all the time, so I ALWAYS have it in the house.
I. Feel. Your. Pain!!!!!
Although I have to admit right now i'm just trying to cut out weeknight glasses.. It occured to me we were having a glass or 2 about 4 nights a week.. So trying to cut it down to one/week..
We'll see if that will do something?!
What a great loss Since Feb 19th!! I put on about 13lbs when I was away through the month of Jan and still stuck with 8lbs of it

Oh Krista, I don't know how you work around wine and not drink it! The problem with us is we were doing a bottle a night 4 nights a week. I love your beach picture! If that's where you went of a month I can see how it's easy to gain a bit of weight! Thanks about the weight loss since 2/19. I really started losing once I cut out alcohol.

Hello my Cheryl and Deb! I'm gonna do my best to come in at least once a day here. I miss you guys even though we do talk once in a while. I need a DAILY fix!

Hot flashes Cheryl?? I am so sorry.... those are awful.

Deb, is your foot getting any better?

GoBahnsen, it is good to meet you. I LOVE your attitude for sure! I am just a bit older than you. I am 59 and holding until 4/25 when I go skipping into a new decade. I've been married for almost 37 years with a son, a daughter and our 7th grandbaby (a boy) on the way. Where the heck does time go??

So I figured I'd have a big water whoosh overnight since I did only protein yesterday but who knew it would be this much!

Weight
2/19 - 172
2/26 - 165.9
3/5 - 165.5
3/11 - 162.3
3/12 - 156.7

Think I'll put my scale in a closet like Deb's for a week!

Have a great day everyone. I'll check back this afternoon after I drink a ton of water.
