Up early, promised GD I'd take her to breakfast at the Maple Sugar Shack. Syrup is running so there open. She love going, they show you how to make maple syrup and then you go in for breakfast. Then off to see DS, he's doing great, already tex me this morning. They said the mini stroke was caused because his blood got to thick. Got him on blood thinners. So glad my 2 boys live so close to each other. I'm an hour away.

Jo wow lucky you with the fresh scallops, I love them but don't get then to often because they are pricey here.

Misty- Sorry I got it mixed up about it being dh.
I am very happy to hear that ds stroke was mild and he did not suffer any damage. What a relief that must be! Hope you were able to fall asleep. I know a scare like that would have my adrenaline going.

Misty so glad your son is going to be ok, DH is on blood thiners for the rest of his life following his valve transplant in the fall . Not fun but better then not taking them. That had to be so scary for you and so glad there was no damage. I agree with you all scallops are pricey and one of my favorite foods. I am actually cooking pan fried scallops and a Caribou roast that another friend dropped off. One of my boys are allergic to fish and he does like Caribou. Pat wine will be a part of this meal for sure Deb you are welcome anytime to visit in NS, 89 days till we move Cheryl did you get your hair done yet? What are you waiting for?? V allergies are never fun but that does mean spring is on its way. Going out for a long walk this afternoon across the ice to another island. Hopefully the wind wont be to cold because it wide open walking that trail. I really need to get moving and do some housecleaning since DH had to go to work this morning so didn't clean before I got up I know he would do it when he gets home but then I would feel guilty Ok I will do part of it.. Everyone have a great day and Misty once again I am so happy he is fine, you have been through enough.

Well had so much fun taking GD and her friend to the Sugar Shake. I needed that. Emma's 10, got in the car and her hair was red, it's normally dark brown. She said she died it, of course i FREEKED. Then I said Emma smelt funny. So I said what kind of dye did you use in your hair. Now get this she said we used Jelllo When to see DS and he's doing so good, but they are keeping him until at least Monday to get things staighted out.

Cheryl how did your ribs come out. I stopped at the store a bought a rack for tonight, couldn't stop thinking about yours.

Jo lucky you with friends dropping of great eats. I'm still doing cleaning too, not what I like to do on the weekend.

No I did not get my crappy hair done today

Our boat lift. 2 arms broke. Looks like $$$$
Boat is ok. Some superficial scratches. Septic still down. I texted with a friend down there and he is going to help DH so maybe I can get back down there.

Don't know why it is sideways. Tip your computer

My ribs were so good! We smoked about 12# late summer and I put them in the vac sealer. Just toss them in the crock to tenderize and warm. Yummy. Had a good rub on them.

Misty I'm so glad things are looking up! Jello hair

Deb you get to keep your LH!

Pat they were beef ribs. Did you get any?

Jo get your walk in? I've never had Caribou.

Karen nice to see you!

Kristie how are you doing?

V yeah we are dry too from all that wind.
