Yes, he is going down at the end of April for part of his spring break.
Not sure if he can get down again -they can't really afford it.
They FINALLY rented their current place for April 1, so that is one stressor off their back. DSIL will move into friend's place in the interim - he will only have to pay utilities and is doing some stuff for them as well. They are getting the house ready for dale.

Good morning-
DS20 is still sleeping. I'll miss him next week, but only 2 more months until summer. There are a few kids here for break, but no one that he is really close to, so he's been spending all of his time with me and his little brother. He keeps telling me he wants to go fishing (he would go on his own) but that hasn't happened yet. He seems to just be enjoying his lazy time.
He has gotten in the pool for water polo a couple of times. The HS kids love it when the college kids show up to work out with them. (he's been working with the kid that will be a senior next year that plays his position on technique stuff)

I hear movement, I'm off to make more coffee and I'll BBL!

Hi!

Kelly - enjoy summer!! This will be my first one with no one coming home.
It's going to be strange and lonely!
With DH too - i could really use the help - but it's time for everyone to have their own lives . . . .

Cindy - glad they rented their old place. April 1 is when DD27 moves too.

Saturday!

DH still feeling under the weather. I am heading out this morning with DD26 and DGS - she wants to look for some clothes. Hasn't bought any since before she got pregnant. I think we are going there for dinner tonight......

So, extra prayers from the prayers! #2 DSIL is thinking about heading to FL sooner than he thought. He is frustrated with his music stuff, his job and everything everyone is still expecting from him and said he just needs to be gone......he could give a month's notice at work and head down over spring break. We are hoping it works out this way - they need to be together. He will have a job at Rifle when he gets down there and IF he decides to teach in the fall, spring/early summer is prime interviewing time. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Three weeks for me till FL!

Hoping everyone has a great Saturday!

13 days till Florida here.

People we had dinner with will be there. Both women are same size as me.

I ate way too much! Weight good because I exercised a lot.

Cindy, MK is right about the long term sub being happy. Plus things like transferred spouses happen. No one should hold it against him in the future.

Need to get ready for work.

Big storm coming tomorrow. Not happy at all. I am done with this winter!

Hi All!
I am whittling away on my list.
Groceries
Breakfast
Showered and washed my hair (that's more time consuming than I like)
Laundry
Target
Ulta
TJ
Bank
McD's for iced coffee for me, shake for DH
Then home for: cupcake making, muffin making, meatloaf making
Then I have to work out.
Ugh - never enough time in the weekend!

MK - wish we could shop together too!

Debbie - we are going to FL at the right time!

I am hoping DSIL will just quit being a nice guy and give his notice - they have given him the shaft so many times....it's not like he's leaving them in the lurch. He needs to be in FL!

Good morning-
DS20 left Friday night. But at least there are now less than 2 months of school left for him. (Not that I'm counting or anything, )
Most of his friends took spring break to party, I'm glad he wanted to come home. (one of his room mates went home too and his other really good friend that is an international student actually stayed on campus to work on his graduate thesis)

I have corned beef in the crock pot this morning, and I'll grab some cabbage to go with it since DH didn't do that last night. I should get my car back by Wednesday or so and then it eventually has one more stop to replace the convertible top since it has a small tear.

I have a hair appointment tomorrow, not big changes, just little ones, I decided I'm going to see how long I can let it get through the summer. It stays in a ponytail or French braid all summer anyway.

Cindy, I hope your DSIL is able to give his notice and get down there. They'll be okay!

Debbie, stay safe and warm! Are you still running on the treadmill?

MK, we would have SO much FUN shopping together, but it might be dangerous for our pocketbooks. I can't wait until my CAbi stuff comes! Hopefully this week!
Your summer will be different with fewer campers in their home base.

Kelly, I only run on treadmill on days I cross train on elliptical and use bike. I do a few miles. I use treadmill if really cold and windy, dark or roads are bad. For example no way I could run outside today. Sidewalks totally covered. Main roads OK. Neighborhood not so great but drive able.

I skipped gym this morning as I didn't want to drive based on news reports. I left early for work and ride OK.

Debbie, that's kinda what I thought, I knew you all were supposed to get quite a bit of snow and I wondered if it forced your workout indoors.

We bought fitbits yesterday. It was kinda interesting to see how many miles I walk just wandering around the house and the yard. My backyard needs a little TLC but the guy that mows should be here today and I'm kinda waiting on him to do his thing first.

Interestingly, my weight isn't really moving much, it bounces around I had the low of 134.9 a couple of weeks ago and then back to 138 with TOM last week. This morning was 138, so I'm maybe down a lb or so, but I pulled all the "goal" stuff out of my closet and pulled out the tape measure and I'm losing inches. Not complaining, I just thought it was interesting. My size 4p dress actually fits (I would need shapewear in a major way, but still, I'm shocked because the last time I wore it I was almost 20 lbs lighter than I am now and it doesn't look great because of my tummy now, but that's what spanx is for anyway)

Kelly, the fit bit is weird. It says I walked like 300 steps before I left the house today. I don't think so. I may have walked 100 steps if that. I let it push me to get my steps in but not so sure abou calories burned. I really didn't need it. I exercise a lot and I watch my scale.

Debbie, it matched the fitness watch that I wear when I run this morning, but I'm not sure about around the house because it seems like it's too much. I do seem to wander aimlessly from room to room though and I'm sure it does add up. DH wanted the fitbit and I wasn't going to get it because I feel like I have a pretty good workout routine, but it is interesting.

Morning!

Kelly - thanks for your words of encouragement - I just want DSIL to get down there!
DS sounds like a smart young man! You will have to post a pic in FB messaging of your new hair!

I like shopping with the new season! We would all be dangerous together. I have bought a few pieces and tucked them away. I am starting the transition with my work clothes as I am so sick of wearing my winter stuff. I am changing purses on Thursday, the first day of spring - enough is enough!

I changed purses but want a new spring purse. It can't be huge and needs to be lighter weight. I want a new Baggallini bag. TJ Maxx gets them but hadn't last few times I looked.

At CPR early. Guess I better go in .

Today is my brothers birthday. He is 15 months younger and turning 56. He wants to retire by 58-59. He is much better with money.

I am trying to be more cognizant of the material of my handbags and have switched to vegan leather.......I am trying. My spring purse is awesome and I can't wait to use it.....the one I currently use is one I got through my JustFab sub......I started out the winter with my most fave designer Marc Jacobs. I think my most fave brand and style is Michael Kors. I have to have a decent size handbag and as long as I can use it cross body, I am ok.

Hump day.......and more snow on the ground. ugh.

I like Michael Kors too - mainly because my initials are on his bags!

I have a bright kelly green purse for spring! And I already have it out - I couldn't wait any longer!

I need new purses but big enough to carry what I need but light to not bother by shoulders and back.

Cindy bag, that's funny.

Happy Spring. Another storm coming Tuesday I hear.

Just saying I need to do some house cleaning and laundry but I'm trying to be quiet. DS16 came home from school sick and he's sleeping. (ok, so maybe I sent him to school not feeling great, but I hoped he could make it through the day)

I'm guessing I'm still not supposed to talk about the weather, but we were supposed to get rain yesterday and it didn't come.

DS16 and I are going to visit family over spring break, my mom told me I didn't have to bring a jacket or coat I could wear one of hers. I think she has forgotten that hers don't fit me and I'm a serious jacket-a-holic so I will totally WANT to bring one (or maybe even two) of my cute new spring jackets anyway.

Yes, my son went to beach yesterday in Florida. Isabella loves the beach but not the ocean. Today they are spending the day in South Beach. It is a good 2 hour ride I think but they want to go.

We are warming up some today and tomorrow but that ends Sunday and snow expected Tuesday but not a lot I think.

In a few weeks the weather should be better right??

Got a lot done last few days. Next big goal is cleaning out closet and getting too big clothes out. I will have some pants taken in. I only have Tuesday and Thursday off next week and need to get haircut, nails done Thursday. I leave a week from tomorrow. It will be a busy week.

Hope Becky is having a great time. We have learned weather doesn't matter when we travel. We just make the most of the time away. If needed we bundle up. Last year we were in Beverly Hills in March and it was on the cold side. As long as it isn't pouring rain cold or hot is fine.

No, you probably can't talk about DD's weather either - at least not for awhile!

I finally threw the tag away - but I did take my own picture!

Happy Saturday!

Yes, Debbie - when we go away we make the most of the weather too! Nothing you can do about it, right?

Watched "Out of the Furnace" last night - love Christian Bale, so was happy!

Today off to the grocery store, work out, some errands, then DD and fam are coming over for dinner.

Ok, MK - I love that BAG!!!!! I would need a cross body strap though! I love handles to throw on my arm, but have been carrying my bags when shopping, grocery shopping etc across my body - less stress on my back too! And I never throw my tags away! I keep them for when I sell my bags, which I always do!

Can u believe we are almost into April?

Weather has been beautiful here. Their flowers are blooming and their trees are budding. The Magnolia and dogwoods are in bloom too. Hard to believe just 3 states away makes that much difference! I guess today is just to get gifts and walk around. Got Kim and I a Starbucks travel mug. She would rather have that than a touristy thing. Going to go back and get mom a North Carolina Starbucks cup. She will like that

Cindy - I use a cross body bag when I'm traveling, but over the shoulder works for most of my life. I should sell mine, but by the time I'm finished, no one would want them. I tend to wear them to death.

Becky - so Spring will come here too - promise?

Kim said it was suppose to snow too. Maybe we won't come back after all. It was suppose to get up to 70 today. Only got to 65 but it still felt good for walking
