Awesome pic Cindy! The only one that has moved away is johns nephew. He moved to LA. His niece is going to school on Long Island. I think she will be back but maybe not. Who knows. Her mother wouldn't care. She couldn't get pregnant for 10 years. After she had the 2 kids they were always with us so they could go out and party. Heather and KC call me their 2nd mom. I'm very attached to them too.

My brother is moving to Florida when he retires. He already bought a house near mom. His wife moving with her grandson they raise when school is out.

He has kids and two grandkids in Ohio. The others are in California and Buffalo. I couldn't do it.

Maybe when I am older and retired.

Time to feel sorry for DS21!
I was taking him back to the train today - it's about an hour each way.
We left at 9:30 so we'd get there about 10:30 for his 11:10 train.
Which then proceeded to be delayed until 12:39 . . . and then 3:00!
He's finally in Chicago now and on the L to his apartment.
Poor kid! He's been "traveling" for almost 9 hours!

I also had a stressful day - I tried on bathing suits!

Great picture, Cindy!

Debbie - if we have any more winters like this one, I'm going to need a few Florida trips!

Becky - do you feel better??

Hey - do we live here anymore?

Too hard to keep up on FB when I am at work all day.

Fletcher today through next Wednesday. Kids coming for dinner for A's bday tomorrow night. They are all so picky all of a sudden, so not sure what to make. Some times it's not fun anymore. Invited R over - he supposedly is coming to get Artie this weekend.

M is getting settled. Yesterday was raining all day, so she relaxed and unpacked. Needs to get a potty pad for her balcony so she doesn't have to take Lola out at night for her last potty. Today she is running errands and will find where some things are.

Had my review yesterday and it went very well. My new manager was just there to observe.....my manager that did the review was very complimentary - too bad we didn't get raises because of it. MK, thanks for the input - it helped - although I did tweak my goals a bit.....I am glad I did, but same principle - using the ideas as a way to help my new manager!

Well, off to shower before Fletcher gets here!

Hey - I posted here yesterday!!!

Maybe the picky people should bring dinner with them . . .
Is R back from Florida?

I'm glad I could help - even if it was just a little!
And raises would have been nice!

Yes, R got back early Thursday morning and went to work!
He will be here for dinner tonight and I will be back to one dog. I am thinking if he goes to FL for his spring break, I may have Artie again.

We don't get raises just because we are former union and still a part of a group - this will be changing and we will be moving towards pay for performance.

Up early, and heading to the grocery store in about an hour.

Off to volunteer at Greenway Trail Marathon and 50K Trail Race.

Really don't like guy doing finish timing but we are at finish doing medical and helping. Runners start at 8 and finish around 4-5 at latest. We get there 10am. Have to go buy ice and tissues. My cold almost better but need more Kleenex. Like to have for runners too. Need to make something for me to eat.

Weight way down. I have been eating but still trying for 1450 calories which is obviously too few. Almost to my lowest weight since first son. I have been 112-113 briefly and 114.8 for two days. 116 was my goal. I am not skinny because of leg muscles and flabby belly. Not fat belly but have extra skin.

Becky, wedding plans????

Hoping to see middle son after race and oldest including Bella tomorrow.
Need to make more of an effort with middle son but his wife drives us crazy.
Need to see how new townhouse/rental coming.

Still haven't done taxes. Taking to preparer to get them done. Sure hope we don't owe.

Better finish getting ready. Super hungry. Always hungry when I wake up. Never skip breakfast unless I am running then I may not eat or just something very small. Hate getting tummy issues out running.

They are having a destination wedding maybe the Caribbean or Bahamas. Then plans are John will sell stock (he made these plans for Gracie to me 5 and Alyssa to be 8 about 3 years ago when Kim was still with brad) and we will fly with the girls to FL for about 4-5 days and go to the beach/Disney world. I told him night before laT that he's not only making 2 little girls happy but also the little girl in me since I wanted to go to Disney land since I was 6 and we drove by it and my uncle told my dad it was overrated for the price. I am so excited!!!! That is in my bucket list!!!

I would like to throw them a party like I did for Kim's 30th bd. hopefully at a park so the kids have someplace to at. That worked out excellent

Last class from 9-12. So glad to get them over with

Knew it would be a long hard day but wow!

The race took people a lot if extra time due to the trail conditions.

Medical not an issue but the race director essentially didn't do his job and then quit. There was a major mess and minimal food for 320 runners. Had to run to store. Had to order pizzas. Total train wreck but runners were fed. Got stuck with loading and unloading truck. Made for a long time on our feet.

I was going to run at 7 which is really 6 but bailed on that group. I can hit the roads here whenever I manage to get out.

Off to eat a little dinner and fall asleep.

Hard slow run.

Have had a cold plus on my feet outside yesterday for 8-9 hours probably didn't help but trudged on and got 9 miles in.

Endless laundry last few days. We were very muddy yesterday after walking and standing in it all day. Took two washes to get mud out of the bottoms of DHs jeans. Our shoes are a mess.

Ran in trail shoes today. May have been too heavy on roads. Boy I feel my back and legs.

Really want to get back in gym routine.

Want to stay at current weight so need to add more calories. Supposed to be 1600 now but lately eating 1400-1500. Still losing so need to eat more.

Off to look for some new recipes I can make and reheat.

Wore different shoes running yesterday but they were trail shoes and not road shoes.
Today I am going to the gym for crioss training. Haven't gone in a month I think. I was sick. I fell and hurt myself. I traveled and there was a storm or two keeping me home.

I need to get back into my workout routine.

Isabella was fun yesterday. She is all about grandpa. He is more fun then me. He roughs her up and gives her cupcakes.

Working 8 hours today.

My DS29 just called saying he has noro virus.

Pray my back holds out with Fletcher the next three days!

Artie is my little buddy, MK! He and I have a bond. Probably because I had him here the first 6 weeks that M adopted him.

She starts her new job today - she said last night she wished R was there with her. I am getting a package together to ship. I worry about their dogs being alone for so many hours, but I guess that really isn't my concern.

Dealing with my parents again - sometime I will have to fill you all in with a brief summary. I think I may need counseling the rest of my life!

just saying DS20 & I are having a lazy day. I did get a run in beforw he got up this morning. I'm trying to convince him to hike with me at least once while he's home. He is going to water polo with his little brother after while & even though its late in the afternoon he'll probably end up sunburned because he's pretty white.

hi!

Kelly - he's become one of those pale northern kids! I need a lazy day!
Today was so pretty that I went to RIP, walked 1.5 miles, came back and got the dog and walked another 1.5. Then went to yoga! Then DH came home and we walked another mile. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow!

Debbie - Hope DS is OK! What do they do to treat Norovirus?

Cindy - what's going on??

Becky - I wish your appointment was sooner too! Is DH going to someone?

Becky, come visit me!!

MK, as with any virus no treatment. He will be fine. He always overreacts. Was feeling better last night. He rarely gets sick.

Kelly, enjoy having your son home. Are many of his friends home? They all have different break times I am sure.

Dentist at 9 am.

Hoping to get out and run alone later. Feeling lazy after poor sleep and hard shift yesterday. Here's hoping tomorrow is easier.

I am tired.
I will be glad to go to work on Thursday, lol.
And my back is killing me.
I knew this would happen!!

DD's first day went well.....they had her desk all set up and all kinds of company products on her desk for her to use. So annoying, lol. They also took her to lunch (her fave down there so far, and vegan too). So different from her other job.

Nice to have DS home, Kelly!

Sorry your back hurts. Fletcher is a big baby or big compared to Isabella. It still bothered me bending down to pick her up.

my son sounded better last night and I haven't called him today.

I have chicken roasting. Should be done just as I am ready to leave to run. Roasted squash will have to wait till Thursday.

I really need to buy a new purse and a few new pairs of capris. I would like to shop Thursday but we will see.

Forgot we are going out with some business related people Saturday as they are in town for a conference.

Hi ladies!

Hi Ladies!

Grandma daycare is over.
I am hoping this cold is headed in the other direction.
Eating was pretty good for being home the last how many days and I haven't left the house since SUNDAY! I am looking forward to going to work!

No plans for the upcoming weekend. It feels weird because DD24 would be home almost every other weekend. I hope she and DSIL can hang in there - she said it was 100 days from yesterday till he comes down. She loves her new job however, and feels like she actually fits in there. She's working on some really cool projects and actually had to sign a confidentiality agreement because of some of the clients they work with!!!

Off to work I go!!! Hold down the fort!

Cindy, will her husband get down there before the final move? Their spring break for school must be coming. Then there is Memorial Day weekend. He must have a few vacation days he can tack on a few weekends to make a three day weekend. He would have to fly though. No time to drive back and forth for three days.
