Happy Monday

Good morning ladies!!

Hi Kiki...welcome to the group!!

Kelly, a fat fast is an Atkins thing....it was originally introduced for those who were extremely metabolic resistance and struggled with getting into or staying in Ketosis. The goal is 1000 calories per day with 90% of those calories from fat, for 2 - 3 days. I incorporate them intermittently into my WOE as my body seems to crave them.....I really see it as a nice break and I personally enjoy them, though general feedback on the boards that I've seen says most others hate them! I'm on day 3 today, feeling great...hoping for a nice little whoosh because of this in the next day or so. This morning the scale is being mean again! I'm sure my hormones are all out of wack because I had my first full period in over THREE YEARS this week!! My eating has been great, but you know how TOM reeks havoc on the scales. Oh well, put me down for 219.....hopefully it'll be less tomorrow!

Theresa, Go You!!!! AWESOME job on the loss!!! That's a great reminder that I need to drink more water!!!!

Tasha, sorry you're feeling blah!! I'm also at my busiest time of month at work right now too....this week and next are CRAZY!

Hi Lori, You've been super busy and fighting the stomach bug at your place.....I'll bet when you do get the scales you'll be back down!

Ok ladies, Off to work.....I'm short staffed today.....and have my accounting month end to deal with....and it's Monday.... See ya later!

I have been in meetings all friggin day - our health insurance expires 3/31/14 so we got all involved with Obamacare and all that ridiculous crap. Our insurance agent was telling us how horrible it is. Then my boss is leaving for the Keys for the week so we had to have a sit down.

I had to be in here early so I never weighed. You can put me at 191 cause I know I didn't lose, or I can weigh in am -

kj! This is a super group!

I will BBL -

Good morning!!

Today starts week 2 of our challenge and I'm pumped for it The scale was kind this morning, can you tell? Yes, I'm a daily weigher....I can't help it! Anyway, I'm so excited for this new WOE, new recipes, and new friends

I'm drinking BPC (bullet proof coffee - I had to look that one up)! In a word - YUM Tammy, you have given me both fat bombs and BPC.......thank you I made mine with coconut oil, SF chocolate syrup, and heavy cream. Mixed it in my Nutribullet and WOW I'm in heaven Love your new photo by the way

I'm feeling a little better, but now have a stiff neck and can't look left, LOL! Will it ever end? I did some arm toning stuff last night while sitting on the couch using small weights. That's about all I can muster right now.

B: bacon and eggs (thought I would switch up the eggs and bacon!)
L: left over Italian chicken breast and broccoli
D: pulled pork and asparagus - the house is going to smell soooooo good!
S: fat bomb

Stay cool my friends

Good morning, all!

Okay - I woke up with renewed motivation! I am still at 191 like I figured but I am planning on losing 3 by next Monday. Then I am still within reach of10 by St Pat's Day.

Will check back in with your girlies in a little while. -

Good morning all!!! Gotta make this a hit and run, crazy busy this morning.

Made the cabbage soup last night and even though it wasn't really induction friendly because of some of the veggies in it, it was major yummy! Dh and Dd even liked it. I think next time instead of putting carrots in it I will put cabbage and cut back on the onions and oregano, but it was really good.

B: 3 pc bacon
L: bacon, mayo, swiss, spinach lettuce wrap
D: pork roast, mashed cauli

Have a great day everyone!!! Theresa, your posts always make me smile!! Glad you're feeling a little better today. Cheryl- so glad you're remotivated!!!!!

Good morning ladies!

Theresa, you're such a sweetie! So glad you're enjoying the BPC and the Fat bombs....I have learned that I lose best when my daily fat ratios are 75% or higher....the BPC and fat bombs are me secret weapon to make that happen!

Cheryl, good for you....you can TOTALLY do this!!!

Tasha, I love cabbage, I really want to incorporate it, but I'm so hyper sensitive to veggie carbs that it makes me nervous....I may have to try easing some into my WOE and see how it goes!

Well, I'm off to work...have a GREAT day ladies!

Lizzie....10 pounds in 1 week?!?!?! How did you lose that much in 1 week?? Can I stand next to you in hopes that it's contagious?!?!

Everything was good here, eating on plan.....today's menu was:

B: BPC
S: BPC
L: less than 1 oz chicken with dreamfields pasta & homemade spicy alfredo
D: Homemade cheese crust pizza
S: Will probably have either a BP tea of a fat bomb as I still have room in my calories for the day,

Today's macros so far: 912 cal / 80% fat / 14% protein / 6% carb

Hope everyone had a GREAT day!!!

It's -2 degrees this morning Mother Nature needs to get a little and lighten up already, after all it is hump day

DH and I plan to go to the Y this afternoon. Haven't been in awhile since we've been sick. I did some more arm stuff last night. My goal is to not have jiggly under arms come golf season, which might not be till July at this point! But the weatherman did say we are still expecting a summer this year - so there's hope

B: BPC
S: fat bomb
L: left over BBQ pork
D: crock pot lasagna from yourlighterside

Gotta keep up on the water - I've been doing good with that lately and the scale reflects it

Have a great day

Good morning all! it's a bright and sunshiny, freezing a$$ cold day here in MO.....9 degrees when I left for work and we got a skiff of snow some time last night. I am soooooo over winter and soooooo ready for spring!

B: 1 pc bacon ( I have to start getting up earlier, an omelet sounded so good this morning )
L: leftover cabbage soup
D: pork roast, mashed cauli

We went to Pizza Hut last night instead of having pork roast, so will have that tonight. I did well, had the traditional non breaded wings with garlic parmesan.....YUMMO and a salad.

Feeling better today, still in the draggy stage of first starting induction, but I know eventually it will go away !!!! Can't wait until next Monday! My goal for today is to drink one more 32oz cup of water than yesterday. I've been getting in 2 but want to get in three.

Dd is due April 2 but they told her yesterday at dr visit that they were going to schedule her to be induced March 26 at midnight. I don't understand the scheduling inducement thing. When I was pregnant, and I know that has been eons ago, but unless there was something wrong, you went full term. Anyway, she had issues with preeclampsia(?) and they had to induce her 3 weeks early with Ella. He told her yesterday her blood pressure has been very consistent until yesterday and it wasn't what he would say was high, but higher than normal and he didn't want to chance it getting worse. But I still don't understand. That's still 4 weeks away, she will still be 39 weeks so I don't really understand, unless something happens why he won't just wait and see if she goes full term. Don't get it?

anywhooooo....Gotta get busy! Hope we all see great big whoooshes next Monday!

Good morning ladies!

Theresa, you're too funny! Thanks for the morning giggles!! Hopefully they won't cancel summer on you!

Tasha, That's crazy about inducing your daughter right before delivery? Maybe the doc has a vacation coming up?? I'm with you though....when my kids were born they didn't even THINK of inducing until you were well past the due date or if something was wrong. Good job staying on track at pizza hut!!! That can be tough to do! Last night my hubby wanted pizza and asked if I'd make my homemade pizza with the cheese crust and it came out SOOOOO GOOD! Both he and DS said it was much better than pizza hut.....and virtually carb free to boot!

Cheryl, sorry you're feeling so bad.....drink LOTS of fluids and feel better soon!

Happy Hump day! DD and her fiancé are coming over to spend the day as they both have the day off of work. I'm working but I'll take a long lunch to spend some time with them. We're going to a BBQ place for lunch to celebrate DS 25th B-day.....I can't even fathom that my son is 25.....I don't even know how that happened as I SWEAR I just brought him home from the hospital last week!!! At any rate, I picked the restaurant because I know I can eat totally on plan....Tri-Tip roast and salad! I shall report back later and let you know how it all goes.

Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

Hope you feel better soon!

Tasha - I'm with you on the induction thing. My oldest DD was induced with both her pregnancies. Must be the way they do things these days.

Tammy - I'm just bored, and jobless, and have waaaay to much time to amuse myself Have fun with the kids today. For what it's worth, none of us look old enough to have kids that old!
