Yes, fat bombs!! They are basically a blast of fat to get your ratios up and are USUALLY in the form of something sweet, so if you have a wicked sweet tooth this is a good way to scratch that itch in a healthy way without going off the rails. There are threads here with several recipes just type "Fat Bomb" in the search bar....and if you're on Pinterest you can search for it there...they have TONS of recipes.

My favorite super quick little go to is 1T coconut oil, 1t almond butter, a splash of walden farms SF chocolate syrup all stirred together and eaten like a reeses cup pudding.....it also satisfies my sweet tooth and is actually very satiating.

Starting weight yesterday 203.

Fat bombs are tasty little buggers and I seem to always have room for fat at the end of the day, carb allowance is gone, protein is gone but I have a problem getting the fat up and a sweet fat bomb at night is perfect and holds me all night. Last night I had a sugar free popsicle was good but sure didnt last long. Since we ate out last night numbers might have been way off just no way to know had to guesstimate it all.

Couldnt of done too bad cause I lost a full lb. 2 to go....

Good morning all! WTG on the loss Michelle! I can't wait to be in onderland! Theresa, how do you make your cabbage soup?

B: 2 deviled eggs
L: more leftover ham(will it ever go away?), 2 deviled eggs, cheese stick
D: leftover taco salad

Getting the duldrums from leftovers. Hate to waste food though, so I will eat it until it's gone.

I was so tired last night, not sure what the problem was but I went to bed around 9:30 and slept like a baby all night. Dgd tested positive for the 2nd time in a month for the flu. Dd and Dsil have the same symptoms she does so am sure they all have it. Bad thing is, Dd is pregnant, so not good at all for her. My poor gd has been sick for going on a month. She got better for a week and then started running high fever, etc all over again. I had my flu shot, but others I've heard that had theirs got it anyway. Sure hope I don't.

Water is the goal today!

Tasha - sorry to hear about the flu in your family. Praying your dd doesn't get it

As for the cabbage soup - I make it by having my DH make it! LOL! He loves to cook (we both do) - lucky me He tweaks everything he makes, but he started with this recipe, then added kielbasa sausage.

thanks, I'll have to try that, minus the carrots. Sounds really good. Have you ever tried to freeze it? Thinking this would be something good for my Grandma too. She has gotten to where she doesn't cook for herself anymore, thus doesn't eat like she should. If I can make some individual size containers she can thaw out and nuke, that would be good!

I have been in a slump the last two days with exercise and could have done better eating but I AM BACK TODAY. Cheatfree and working out tonite!

B - 2 hb eggs
S - celery
L - chicken salad wrap
D - steak/veggies

I also added lemon and lime to my water and will that all in!

Tasha - you need to move your family to Florida. You guys get sick way too much, including your darling little gd!! I hope they all get better!! I printed out the cabbage soup diet and will make it this weekend. What is a serving? You don't retain water eating ham? Makes me so thirsty.

Michelle - contrats on loss!

Good morning ladies!

Michelle, congrats on the loss!!! Yes Fat Bombs make all the difference for me!

Mortgagemom, good luck on the job search today....I think going in to the banks you've applied at is a great idea!!! It's funny I've been trying to a year and a half to hire the right people at the communities I manage and let me tell you, people complain how hard it is to find a job......but it's even harder to find good employees!! At least here in So. Cal it is!

Tasha, so sorry to hear your family is struggling with the flu....it's really a bad flu season this year!! Praying for quick recovery!

Kelly, your menu today looks great! I have no idea what mine is going to be like.....I may have to report it after the fact!

It's funny, the last few days I just have NOT been as hungry and I've really struggled to get to 900 cal a day....most days I got there just by pushing my fat %'s. I figure it's just my bodies way of responding to the deeper ketosis....so I figured what the heck, I feel good, just roll with it....this morning I'm down ANOTHER 2 pounds!!! That's 4 pounds since Saturday....19 pounds since Jan. 1!!!!

I know everyone says DON'T go below 1500 cal...or 1400 cal....or 1200 cal....and truthfully most days I do shoot for around 1200....I don't intend to deliberately stay below 1000....but I have to say, I've been feeling really good.....and losing....so I don't think I'm going to fight my body on this!

Not sure about freezing it - soup never lasts long enough around here to know!

Congrats on the awesome weight loss Tammy!

Tasha and Tammy- I am the same way when I get into deep ketosis. Not hungry, thats when most of my cravings go away too. I have 3 boys that eat me out of house and home , its usually so hard to be around all the food they eat and snacks but when I get deep into ketosis it doesnt bother me. Hoping to get there this weekend

Morning ladies!

I'm babysitting my 2 little grandsons today. Being almost 2 yrs and 6 mos old, my exercise will be all the chasing, bending, and lifting I'll be doing

B: eggs, bacon
L: salad
D: pork chops and mixed veggies

Make it a great day!

Good morning,

I had a good workout last night and planning on spinning tonite. I am struggling with my woe, though. I was on fat-free so long, this is hard for me.

B - 2 hb eggs
S - celery/cream chs
L - leftover steak/brussel sprouts
D - leftover steak/veggies

Do you just ever get in the mood where you are sick of worrying about what you are eating? I have to snap out of this otherwise I am heading for trouble (i.e., pizza, pasta, )

On to a better day!

Great job Theresa staying on track! I wish I could say the same for myself. I bombed last night. I'm over it though, not going to dwell, just dusting myself off and getting right back in the swing of things.

Cheryl-I always am sick of worrying about what I am eating but if I don't worry about it and watch it the scale starts creeping up.....which is why I am where I am. We've gotta do this !!!!!

B: nothing, I was running late
L: cheese stick and salad from cafeteria, forgot my lunch
D: hamburger, egg scramble

Everyone have a great day. 60 degrees here this morning, so nice to be able to walk outside without a coat! Severe weather coming through today though, so I guess with the good comes the bad

I am so glad we came back here, Tasha! It really helps me - today, just for ONE DAY - I am going to do good. You will go all the way to lunch and not eat anything? I could never do that. Of course, 30 years ago, I could - lol. The warmer weather will remind you of less clothing and BATHING SUITS!!! We can do this!

1 to go to 60 lbs lost. Getting excited. Not hungry today at least not yet. Since I started tracking everything a couple weeks ago I noticed a pattern that i have a hungrier day then a not hungry day. Might have a drink tonight keeping it low carb. DD has a Volleyball tournament all day Sat will be tough have to plan some things for putting in my pocket to snack on.

So probably wont be able to check in much this weekend but will be back. KUTGW all!

Good morning ladies!

Theresa, great job staying on track at dinner!! Today sounds wonderful, and I think chasing around 2 little grandsons is the best kind of exercise!

Cheryl, I'm sorry you're frustrated!! Making the adjustment to a new WOE can be really tough. I find that for me personally, I track everything and play with my menu options on my food journal ahead of time and that really helps me. Some people say that's way too much extra work, but it really helps me.....I don't think I could do this otherwise!!

Tasha, Good for you for getting back and on track this morning, you CAN do this!!! Us Missouri girls are tough, we can do anything we set our minds to!

Michelle, 60 pounds is such a HUGE accomplishment, that is just so amazing!!!! How long has it taken you to accomplish this?

I thought I'd attach a link to a video one of the gals shared on another board, this doctor does THE BEST job I've ever seen of explaining HFLC, and metabolic syndrome / insulin resistance.....it has really revolutionized my thinking in my WOE and has explained so many things that I've struggled with over the years. It doesn't hurt that the doctor is pretty good looking too! At any rate, I thought maybe it would be as much of an encouragement to you ladies as it has been to me:

Burn Fat Not Sugar - Diet and Exercise 2.0

I hope everyone has a GREAT day!
