90 Day Weight Loss Challenge!
Helpppppp! I am needing accountability BIG time for losing weight. I would :heart:LOVE:heart: to start a 90 day challenge and am asking any of you to join with me!
The challenge would begin on Monday February 10th and go until May 12th.
You can use any weight loss method you like (Atkins, South Beach, Medi, HCG, Etc..), all I ask is that you stay active (active on the boards!) through the challenge to let everyone know how you're doing and weigh in every Monday! Feel free to post daily menus, exercise, tips, advice, jokes, etc---anything to keep all of us motivated and moving forward!!!
Please come JOIN me! I am in need of Low Carb Friends and Accountability. Spring will be here soon and I cannot stand to have another Spring/Summer of wearing too tight and unflattering clothes!

Hi Mariah!! I'm definitely in! I really need accountability too. I do really well for a week or two, sometimes not even that, and then everything goes out the window. I hate eating bad. It depresses me that none of my clothes fit, and I feel tired and cranky when I eat bad stuff!! Plus your right, summer and spring are quickly approaching, and I am supposed to be running my first 5k this summer! Its a "rock and glow" 5k! I think it will be fun but I need to get in shape!! Anyways, thank you for starting this!! I'm excited to get started! We can do this!!

Motivation: Being able to wear the mass amount of smaller, cute clothes that are just sitting in my closet, having more energy, wearing a cute bathing suit this summer, and getting in shape for my first 5k!
I'm in too!!! We're going on a big family vacation this summer and I don't want to be worn out and sluggish the whole time. I want to enjoy myself and my family! I started this journey for my daughter, who is 1. I had kids later in life but now I find myself struggling to keep up with her. I don't want to be one of those moms who's too tired and depressed to play with her kid. I refuse to make her suffer for my terrible eating habits, which I also don't want to pass on to her.

Motivation: To have the confidence I used to have. To keep up with my 1 year old. To not be so damn tired all the time!! (Low carb has changed my energy level tremendously!!)

This sounds great and I will definitely join in! I find the more plugged in I am here, the better I do. I have struggled with my weight ever since having kids....my baby is going to be 20 in June!! Time to deal with this once and for all. I've tried and failed a number of times to lose this weight.....I've tried and failed with Low Carb! I believe that THIS time around I've finally found the right combination for me....I've learned that I am insanely sensitive to carbs, so I am focusing on high fat and extremely low carb....and it's working!! Since Jan. 1 I've lost 15 pounds!! I need the next 90 days to really count though, my daughter is getting married April 24 and I really want to lose another 50 pounds or more before then if possible!

I'm all for the Monday weigh in!!! I have my nephew's birthday party today so I'll be put to the test--cake, sandwiches, chips and dip. There are some things I can eat like meatballs so I'll just stick with that.

I have been low carbing on and off for several years. No more "off". I have finally accepted that this WOE makes me feel better and is a lifestyle not a diet. I am a slow loser.
I have been strict since 1/4/14 and have only lost 6 lbs. I am focusing on feeling better and not on the number of #'s lost or the number on the scale as that would probably set me up for failure. Hopefully this mindset will follow me through. Good luck to all .

I desperately need to be accountable.
I started on the 1st of July, 2013, @ 227.4lbs. By 1st December I was 160lbs. Only problem is, I have allowed the success I've had thus far, to make me over confident. Xmas did not help it was like a chocolate and cookies Olympics at the office. I have carried the age old bad habit into the new year, I eat cookies, and other things that don't help at all, whenever I feel like and its stopping me from moving forward with the weight loss...I've gained and lost the same 10lbs so many times since December.
I want to get to 125lbs.
Current weight- 155.8lbs
Height- 5ft 1.5ins (bummed I have shrunk from my all time height of 5ft 2ins)
90 day goal- 125lbs
Method - Own plan-- Lowish carb from mostly leafy greens-
moderate fat mostly - (mufa-olive oil and such) lean protein from mostly seafood
Walk at least 4.5miles daily (I love walking) most days I do
Motivation - I have found low-ish carb easy and quite sustainable and
would love to sustain the success I've achieved.

I started on 1/12/2104 and am down 16 lbs today. I really need to lose the weight to take the pressure off of a hernia that I got last year from being too fat and my back being too weak from all this excess weight.

I wanted to eat 'off-piste' today and thought about weigh in tomorrow and demurred.

I would love to join too! I have been on Atkins Induction since July and so far am down 40 pounds. I still have quite a bit more to go and posting my weight every Monday will make me accountable. Since the holidays it has been so hard to stay focused. I need to get my mojo back.

Oh my goodness ladies! This challenge has come not a minute too soon. Had my nephew's birthday party this weekend. I actually thought i did pretty good. Stuck with meatballs even though they were in bbq sauce. I chose the ones not drenched in it. No cake, no cookies, no sandwiches, just meatballs!! Got home today and Bam!! Out of ketosis!
Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and fresh start. Here's to a successful 90 days for us all!!

Our fun filled, joy fuelled, exciting D-day is finally here.
I am ready...all weekend I was like a Kid with a few days to go before a disney trip.
I wanted to inhale some cheese and crackers (and I don't do few of those, I inhale the whole 8oz pack, with at least 3ozs of cheese, plus sugar laden chutney, for starters (....I know you guys get the picture)
Thanks to our challenge, I instead had a delicious, seafood medley with Kale, my dessert was coffee and cream to which I added a lil' vanilla bean paste...divine.
This morning my weight is - 154lbs

Good morning everyone! Starting weight for me is 257..gross!!! That is higher than it has been lately, I am very bloated. :( On Friday I had ended a 21 day "eat on plan" plan..ended it with a visit to the chinese buffet. Fool. Anyhoo...bad decision!! Needless to say, this challenge has had good timing for me!
Do any of you calorie or carb track? I did for a while, but have not lately..just keeping carbs really low. I may need to track..I don't wanna.
And we're off and running!!! Are we ready guys??!! Lol! So I gained 1/2 pound over the weekend so my starting weight is 226.2.
I'm so ready for this challenge!! Looking forward to the next 3 months. Yay!!
Welcome everybody....I hope your day is going great.
My late lunch is a very satisfying Chicken broth with a handful of diced up chicken breast and a cup of crunchy steamed broccoli. It hit the spot. very satisfying.
AmyP, I make sure I know what the calorie and carb value in my meals/snacks are.
I cook from scratch, and the USDA site Foods List,has been very helpful.
Also because I mostly eat lean protein, and leafy green veg, there isn't much latitude to go astray on those. So on a meal by meal basis, I don't count but I have a fairly good idea due to the type of stuff I tend to cook anyway.
