Hello everyone! Seems we are doing well! Wow M4C 6lbs!! Impressive!

I am down three, which I am happy about, BUT this is down to what I have been stuck at for a while and the three was mostly getting off the last weekend indulgences. This week is the test....can I break past this 234.. I sure am going to try! I may have been down one more if I had not accidentally chosen to eat a couple of cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster. I was content with my decision to eat one...but the second one was unnecessary!! Oh well...onward...

Goal this week....stop snacking after dinner. Any one else want to set a mini weekly goal with me unrelated to weight? I like doing the mini goals so even if for some reason I don't lose weight I still accomplish something!

Oh my gosh ladies, look at all the weight we lost this week!!!!!

Mariah, 6 pounds?!?! That's amazing!!!
LaVella, I LOVE the new hair color....it looks lovely and so do you!! Does your hubby love it to?? Great job on the 3 pound loss, you can definitely get under 300 this month, I have faith in you!!

Lloren, your slip couldn't have been too bad, you lost 3 pounds.....that's great!!

Well I was down 2.2 this morning, which I was ECSTATIC for....in fact I stepped back on the scale just to make sure!! I've been playing with the same two pounds for the past 3 weeks, so to have officially lost that PLUS 2 more feels INCREDIBLE.....just the WHOOSH I needed to start my Monday!!

Mariah, I'm so glad you started this group.....we CLEARLY belong together as we're all losing weight like crazy!!!

I'm very excited for the three pound loss, but my usual pattern is a decent loss followed by several weeks of staying the same (or bouncing around a few pounds).

Today's meals are as follows:

Breakfast - 2 center cut bacon slices, two small sausage patties, two eggs scrambled in a bit of the bacon fat, 1 oz, sharp cheddar and 1/4 cup picante sauce

Lunch - Atkin's frozen dinner, Italian sausage with the broccoli and cauliflower

Dinner - chicken verde enchilada casserole

Snack - parmesan cheese crisps and pepperoni slices

Beverages - iced plain black tea, club soda, tap water

Oh ladies! I feel like I don't belong here. I actually gained 1.8 lbs. Now, it could be water retention because I ate an incredible amount of salty foods last week and this past weekend. This past week has been so hectic. We're actually in the process of moving/preparing our house to be sold. Add a stressful job and chasing a 1 year old on top of that and I'm one whipped mama! I stayed on path in terms of eating though! I didn't cheat once. I did eat allowable foods, just alot of them! I'm definitely a stress eater.

But I'm NOT giving up!! You ladies are an inspiration to me. Good for all of you for losing!!! That's so encouraging! I also haven't been checking in like I've wanted to since we've been running around taking care of house stuff. That needs to change. It's coming here that makes me want to strive to do better.

So here it is: (sorry for messing up ya'll pretty board with all those -'s )

Dana, don't be silly....of course you belong here!!!! Hey we've all been there and I for one think that the fact you stayed on plan at all in the face of so much chaos and stress is a BIG step in the right direction!!! We all get busy and sometimes have trouble checking in....no judgment here....we're just here to support and encourage. You stay right here with us lady....got it?!?!

Thanks for the encouragement Amy and Tammy!!! I was so ashamed to post today but I know I had to do it to be held accountable. I'm here to stay because it's you guys that make me want to do better. Thanks again!!!

Everyone did spectacular.

Really great results!

Even you Dana. Its a learning process. I'm like you, an emotional eater. I'll be weighing in next week and as of now I'm pretty certain I'm putting on weight. Jeans can't lie unfortunately. I'm pretty down but going to make some important changes like eating 4 square meals a day. I've been skipping and doubling up. So don't be discouraged. you are not alone on this board. we're gonna make it.

Tomorrow I'm going to start logging my food again. I really, really hope I can cut down on my eating. I just don't feel good unless I'm eating a lot. It would be great if the problem is that I'm not eating meals because thats easily correctable.

1 week down. Many more victories to celebrate.

Thank you ladies that means a lot to me! Im sure a lot of it is water weight but I feel way less bloated and even though Im still uncomfortable at this weight Im glad its going quickly. Im sure this week I will lose much more slowly.

Without girls I dont think I would have had the accountability to get me to those 6# so I thank each and everyone of you!

Don't feel bad! Its all a learning process and we are all human! We need eachothers support so good for you on checking in even if the scale is up. Im sure we will all have weeks like this---life happens, dont dwell on it!

Logging really helps me when I feel out of control with my eating. I either have two modes of eating in my life its usually pretty strict either following calories or carbs which I track (this is the best way to maintain or lose weight) or I get into the 'I dont care' mode where I dont track anything and I eat EVERYTHING--couple that with a history of Bulimia and Binge Eating and I am now working my way down from my highest weight EVER (I went from 188 October 2013 (Which was about 15# up from my 'normal' high weight of 170-175) and then ballooned up to 225 just a few months ago ). I have to learn that there needs to be a gray area but well, thats a work in progress. I hope the fat fast helps you! I have only done it once but wasnt a huge fan of it. Meat & Egging usually jump starts the losses for me, but everyones different. Lots of Hugs

It was my birthday weekend and I survived eating only one small piece of sugar free cheesecake on Friday, my birthday. Daughter took me out on Saturday night but I choose a grilled chicken dinner with steamed spinach and a Caesar salad. Friday night, however, I did not eat enough during the day and my blood sugar bottomed out before we sat down to eat and almost passed out in the line waiting to be seated. Today, I had to travel on the road for work so I didn't eat too much. We went to the local diner and got omelettes for dinner. Not too bad for the day but could not count caloriess, fat, etc. for the day.

Of course you belong here! Last month I stalled a lot after my first week loss eating nothing but acceptable foods and not cheating. I gained and lose some of the same weight the last two months eating on plan, not cheating and exercise. We all go through the same struggles with our weight, so you need to be right here struggling with the rest of us and getting support

Didn't eat much today. I haven't really had much of an appetite recently. Today is one of those days that I don't want to work out but I am going to force myself. I had a lazy day. I went to trader joes to get my husbands body wash and snacks. I went on an empty stomach so I literally wanted to eat everything in my site, but I just rushed through the aisles so I could get home and eat.

Thanks Mariah. You really pulled me from the brink last night. :Hugs: Decided to postpone fat fast for a few days or until next week. Opened the book and started reading to see what changes i could make. I'm increasing my carbs straight up to 20 adding a whole bunch of foods I could be eating but have just not been doing. I'm being lazy. Which never works. So we will see.

Here's my plan for the week:
Atkins induction done right
3-4 meals a day or more if I split a few.
Meal1 12:30am & 8:45am+ 6 hours
Meal2 2:45pm+ 6
Meal3 8:45 + 6

333cal each for meals
Or split
165 each

Can space out meals 4-5 hours apart if needed. Instead of 6.

Brings me to 1000

Can add additional meal 300c if really hungry.

Brings me to max 1300 calories

Mariah your weight loss results were spectacular! I went back and read your menu's

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. We got home very late last night and I was exhausted! My weigh in for yesterday morning was 162.4. Not too bad considering TOM came early and I did have some adult beverages throughout the weekend. I will touch base more later.

Hang in there. You DO belong here. No matter how well you eat, exercise, etc., sometimes the scale just wants to be a PITA and it probably is just water retention like you said. Don't get discouraged.

Hello everyone! Seems we are doing well! Wow M4C 6lbs!! Impressive!

I am down three, which I am happy about, BUT this is down to what I have been stuck at for a while and the three was mostly getting off the last weekend indulgences. This week is the test....can I break past this 234.. I sure am going to try! I may have been down one more if I had not accidentally chosen to eat a couple of cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster. I was content with my decision to eat one...but the second one was unnecessary!! Oh well...onward...

Goal this week....stop snacking after dinner. Any one else want to set a mini weekly goal with me unrelated to weight? I like doing the mini goals so even if for some reason I don't lose weight I still accomplish something!
Three pounds is wonderful Even if you are getting off weight from prior indulgences, it is still weight lost. Onward and downward this week!

Cathy good for you not having to take the medication everyday. I notice if I keep to low carb faithfully I do not have stomach pains or burning. When I have carbs or eat late, my goodness I am in so much pain.

I was the same way all weekend....I had to force myself to get to 900 calories, and even then that was only because I wanted to keep my fat % high. Yesterday I was a little hungrier. I am the same way! I cannot go to the grocery store hungry otherwise I end up buying stuff I really dont need (can we say coconut truffles, dark chocolate, and sugar free ice cream?---all of which are in my apartment right now ). Good for you on not getting anything! I trader joes.

My so called mother is on her death bed, It has been one of those relationships I have been working to get over all my adult life. It got so bad that we have had nothing to do with each other since 2001. I have no concept of what it means to have a mother, and at 52+yrs, I'm expected to make the death bed pilgrimage, I don't want to rubber stamp all her hate, abuse and humiliation of me just because she's dying.
TMI..I know.
I'm taking it one day at a time.

Congrats to everyone on giving it your all! You guys are great and I wish you all much success!! I am dropping out of the challenge. I do not feel like I can contribute like I should - I can't keep up with the posts. The only time I post is during a break or at lunch - I really don't like messing with the computer when I get home after dealing with it all day during work.
