If I like something, until I'm staring at the bottom of the packaging, I'm never done.

I had a really Good day today....yesterday was a washout.
I inhaled a whole packet of biscuits ( cookies) after I was supposed to be done eating for the day.
I keep deluding myself that I would know its in the house and not eat it...This was supposed to go into work for tea break for folks at work.
Today I had so much fun I jogged and walked and the weather was lovely...my eating was perfect...why can't everyday be like today.
I usually can't have just one square of anything..working hard on it! I do not allow my normal scoop of peanut butter on this chocolate!! PB is a trigger, I think. And it is super dark chocolate..hard to eat the whole thing with out peanut butter .

I can't have cookies or baked goods in the house at all...no willpower to not inhale them all..

Thank you everyone for your support..it means a lot.

Everyone is doing great!! I'm really hoping to get into the 120's by the end of this challenge.. I've been gaining and losing the the same few lbs for forever it feels like! Hope everyone had a great day!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A NEW SCALE MAKES!!

Well I got my new scale last night!!!!! it's amazing what a difference a new scale can make!!!! I told you my last scale was being nuts....I changed batteries thinking that would help. It kept telling me that I had gained 3 pounds and I just KNEW that wasn't right......it wasn't possible....and I was right!! Not only was I NOT in that 3 pound swing....I'm 2 pounds LOWER than what that other piece of crap had been telling me!!! WOO HOO.....nice little whoosh! And the scale looks awesome too.....it has a very vintage / retro / modern vibe to it. My hubby said he'd never seen a scale that actually looked cool before! Check it out!!

Me likey-likey its quite pretty (yeah defo a girl) with its iconic features .
well done on the whoosh. It feels sooo good to get one of those. nothing motivates like that kind of good news on this journey.

I don't want to talk about scales!! Mine went up two pounds from Monday. I figure it is workout weight..been walking a lot and did some strength training. I feel much better and am sticking to my plan, so that scale can just kiss my...well...you know! I figure it has to go down someday!!

I love it!! I got the fitbit aria scale a few months ago and I adore it. My parents have a scale like that one though and I do adore the retro feel of it

How is everyone doing?? Anyone have any Easter/Passover plans???

Ive stuck to the Egg Fast since Monday and its been going well. My goal is to get out of the 200's by May 1st. I am determined! I think as of right now Im just going to my grammy's for Easter on Sunday but just for dinner---hopefully it should be too much of a food fest! Im bringing the deviled eggs

We are heading to my parents on Sunday..not sure what is on the menu. I should bring deviled eggs too! I should just bring my own meal. My mom is always critical of my weight and it might thrill her to no end if I said I was working on it. Don't know if I want to give her the pleasure...lol. There's always meat...I could just stick to that. Candy and sweets are just not an option so that won't be an issue. I hope..

I am curious about this egg fast.. that's all you are eating? Eggs? I might get sick of eggs...

Amy, don't sweat the scale....like Mariah said your muscles are just retaining water.....you'll be just fine and YES, it WILL come off!!!

Mariah, I looooove deviled eggs, I will definitely be making some of those this weekend!! We have no major plans, DD and her fiancé will come over tomorrow after work and spend the night so we can play all day Sunday. We bought a new car the other night, so we'll probably take a drive along the coast.

Wickedstitch, way to go with the consistent loss.....VERY inspiring!!!

Rob, how are you doing out there lady??

TGIF...... I need a weekend, yesterday was LONG and TOUGH.....I had a 13 hour work day wrapped around a corp. meeting filled with a lot of bad food options and choices!! I'm still in ketosis, though just barely, my carbs were WAAAAAYYYYY over my limit, I usually am 20g or less per day of carbs and according to my food journal yesterday I was CONSERVATIVELY at 88 g! Time to drink lots of extra water and increase my fats to get this flushed out of my system!!!

Well ladies, I hope everyone has a fabulous Easter weekend.....try to avoid the candy!!

Thanks Doll! Amazing what following my plan will do for me. Plus keeping an eye on my ketosis sticks as well. I even saw 206 this morning, but I am not claiming it until I see it again!

I absolutely LOVE feeling smaller!!! Do you measure?? If not you should because honestly there are many times when the scale would frustrate me, yet I FELT smaller....every time I'd check my measurements and sure enough I'd find that I was losing inches....it's very encouraging!

When I'm doing my egg fasting, I usually do eggs, coffee, a little bit of cream, fat (butter/oil) and small amounts of cheese and meat. I lose the best with limited dairy and meat and majority of eggs. Hoping it will get me through the 200's before May.

Unfortunately I was not able to make my deviled eggs, I came down with a terrible cold Friday night and had to call in sick on Saturday for work, also meaning that I lost my Easter plans on Sunday. I'm hopefully on the mend, but yesterday I didnt leave my bed til 4pm. Yuck!

Mariah, Sorry you're sick sweetie.....get your rest and feel better!!

Definitely a study in contradictions today: The good news is that we went on a gorgeous and very steep hike.....about a mile total, the not so good news is that we had Coldstone Ice cream after......but boy was it good! Had a very healthy salad with grilled chicken for lunch......washed down with Scotch and diet coke.......under on calories, over on carbs.....sigh.....tomorrow is a new day!!

Good Morning,

I just returned from vacation. I went off plan and did quite a bit of damage. This was very hard for me. Well I am back on plan and ready to face this full steam ahead! How was everyone's Easter Sunday?

Same same weight here, but okay with it. Feel better and feel smaller! I kept on plan for the most part yesterday. Ate a few too many "treats" that were low carb and on plan, but need to control that. Hoping next week will show a loss. Also have been walking a lot so that is good! Spring might actually be here in the frozen tundra..

Sammi--I feel your pain..vacations are terrible. I have a real hard time not thinking vacation also means vacation from eating well. You probably have a lot of water weight gain...it will come off! Easter was a bit of a challenge because the only thing I could eat at my mother's house was glazed ham..even her "vegetables" were corn!! sigh....

I went on a carb fest and gained and gained.
I used Easter as my excuse, now I have to undo all that weight gain.

After the first couple of slices of the artisan bread...it was not even worth it..but my-all-or-nothing brain would not let me quit scoffing the darn carbs.

Hang in there guys! I'm in the exact same boat! The most important part is not wasting anymore time and getting right back on plan! Rob the exact same thing happened to me.. It wasn't even that the carbs I was eating were that tasty.. but I just kept on eating... and eating. :/ I gained an astounding 8.5 lbs this weekend. .... I was 130 on Friday morning and woke up this AM to a lovely 138.5. Right back on plan today and even did a 4 mile jog/run. I already feel better and once again I know that its a bunch of water weight.. but still. 8.5 lbs??!? DANG!
