Thanks Lemon!

Well I got my bump I should have gotten yesterday

The good news is I got my 2.0 book today. I think I'll just try to hang "sane" through the weekend. And then on Monday hit it hard again.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I haven't weighed this weekend and may hold off tomorrow, but I'm ready to jump back in to low days on Monday. I actually may stick with 2 or 3 low days in a row. With the warm up this weekend and seeing how my summer clothes are fitting me right now, I'm definitely inspired to get this weight off as quickly as possible!!!

Good Morning Ladies,
Well I had a lovely time in Virginia City this weekend. I didnít diet, but I wasnít off the hook either. Between the dry dessert climate, too many carbs and the wine Iím retaining water like crazy. So not weighing in to today. In fact Iíve decided to go back to weekly rather than daily weighing. Those little fluctuations really work against me. The little bump I had on Thursday did not set me up for a successful weekend, thatís for sure!

I read a good portion of the HCG 2.0 this weekend. I have to say, he really makes a ton of sense. A lot of it reflects our rogue and flexible ways. Iím going to continue to eat along his guidelines this week. I get my lipid panel done this week so I need to get my low carb lifestyle back on track. I will still fluctuate calories, partly for sanity and partly because I really believe it helps with loses. One chart in his book was how long it took an average woman to lose 25 lbs on typical diets. Weight Watchers was twelve weeks, which I found to be true. 2.0 he says five weeks. So Iíve decided to give it the five weeks, which would be May 19th if I donít count last week. I think that sounds reasonable with our flex plan to get back into my summer clothes.

Iím still going back and forth on whether to do pellets or Aminos. I started pellets back yesterday, took a break Saturday. I like what 2.0 said about what HCG does to help you lose weight and reconfigure beyond appetite control, so I thought Iíd get that back going and then if I need some additional appetite control I wonder if itíd hurt also supplementing the Aminos? What do you guys think?

Terri, I definitely think you would be fine to experiment with the pellets and the aminos. I can't see what harm it would do, and it might really get you the appetite suppression you want!

I think I need to read the 2.0 book! As soon as I'm done with my project this week, I think I will order it!

How did today go for everyone?

I'm hungry!!!

I was very hungry today. 620 non-veggie calories and I was still hungry. Two SF jello cups and four baby dills later I think I'm done. Won't tempt fate by staying up too late. What was I thinking taking a break from dosing, won't do that again. I tried pellets this afternoon and then Aminos an hour or so later. No ill effects, but didn't help my hunger much. Felt like day one all over again.

PW and arm challenge today

Oh my back up to 149 today in jammies this morning.

I have to dig deep and muster the willpower and energy to get this weight off. I have the day off, so maybe I'll reread my hcg 2.0 book, I may just see if I can find a paper copy really don't like reading on the kindle. I am going to see some old friends on the 25th the and I really want to look and feel better by then.... ha ha only 10 days from now!

Would you guys be interested in maybe doing a pre-planned daily challenge?

Sure! What do you have in mind? I'm ready to kick some serious booty too. We can do this!!

Regarding the book, I canít really say enough about it. Not only while using HCG but for common sense dieting, maintaining and living. Iíll be using the concepts for many years.

What do you think would work regarding a daily challenge? Something like deciding each evening what we would like our eating plan to be the next day, based on our plans and how we are feeling. It would be more motivational and easier for me to stick to I think if we did the same thing and were held accountable to each other at the end of the day. We could discuss and agree on each day's plan. Too complicated? Open to ideas for sure!!

Are you still going to be doing the HCG "our way"?

So plan on calorie range (up day, down day), exercise, etc.? Sort of like the weekly thing we were going to do right?

The weekend is where I can really use the most motivation Living without dropping the ball.

Yeah a daily plan instead of weekly like before. Weekends for me would be best kept low carb w/o counting as hubby will basically eat that way with me. I am torn about the hcg 2, I mean I am taking the aminos but need to try to keep the calories in line with the plan... I think this is where a daily commitment and the accountability may help. I don't want to bog you down though, so if this would not work for you I understand.

I usually plan what I'm going to eat the night before anyway on my tracker. It helps me from overdoing it without realizing it. We could plan calories, calories & carbs or something like that. Or just plan our menus the night before period and then check in that we didn't deviate. Letís also plan our exercise. The 30 day arm challenge in its self has been great to keep me on track.

What kind of bolthouse dressing do you use? I got the Cesar parmigiana yogurt one and it is not so appetizing! Is this menu around 600 cals? I will use half and half and lite cream cause that is what I have on hand. I don't like s/f jello so I'll have an iced coffee after dinner most likely.

Yeah about 650 with everything. I got some Thousand Island I havenít tried yet. I thought it would be good with shrimp salad. I may go with lemon juice & salt. Funny Iíve grown to really like that.

Sorry, I was missing for a couple of days. Crazy week!

My eating has been so-so. I'm staying pretty low in calories, but I don't think low enough to maximize this high-low plan. However, this morning I did see the lowest number on the scale I've seen since I started this "round."

I'm going to be honest and say that this weekend is going to be hard and foresee side-tracking a little bit. We always have a special meal for Easter and I'm in charge of making it this year since my mom is visiting my sister and her new baby. So I will probably be going off for a day or so, but Monday I will be back with it!!

I actually have a big goal for the 30th of April, so I probably need to shoot for a full week of "down days" next week!

That's how my weekend was last. I've been on VLC for the last three days and feel pretty well recovered. Dare to hope I'll actually be down by the end of the week.

Had a good day so far food wise, substituted the hamburger for a turkey burger since I didn't have any beef patties. I have done arms but nothing else yet. I am drinking my iced coffee for a boost in energy hopefully it will work. I have had a headache and been tired all day.

How about meat & eggs tomorrow, no veggies? No dairy except coffee creamer. 1000 cals max or didyou want to do a stricter calorie rotation?

Yay! Totally in for that!! How about fat? I was thinking of Tuna salad for breakfast. Told you I was a weird eater.

How about:
Arm Challenge
15 minutes aerobics (quick walking or other elevated breathing exercise of choice)?

B Ė Tuna with 2T mayo, coffee with 1 oz HWC
L- 2 boiled eggs, 2-1/2 oz black forest ham
D Ė Small steak with fried egg
Comes in at 977 calories.

What are you thinking?
