Salt last night for Super Bowl, so up 2 lb today, but looked in mirror, and no longer a "roll" at the waist. So I am making progress.....just not scale-happy.

Still going for 1# per week. Feeling ok about progress. DH and DD25 are road-tripping with cattle to Utah. So I have GS til they get back. That will change my routines, but should make exercise easier, as I play with GS in evenings.....

Hope everyone else stays on plan!!

Here I am...showing up late to the party again..
I am glad this past weekend is over. I had the retirement party for FIL Saturday and it was nice. The BBQ brisket, pulled pork, and hot links were perfect and everyone really loved it. The only complaint I have is that there was not much left over and I was hoping to have some to snack on for a few days.

Then I woke up yesterday morning and my computer was dead. Yep, brand new computer that I only had for a month. I took it back and exchanged it for a new one. They said they had never seen one of them do that before, so hopefully it will not do it again. I hate having to set everything back up. Plus I had just loaded a bunch of pics from the dinner onto it, and lost them. Luckily my MIL had copies of them to send me.

We are getting hit with some big snowstorm tonight. It is supposed to last all the way through the day Tuesday. So running my errands today, just in case. They are talking about 7-8 inches or so of sno with some ice at the start of it.

Jo-Congrats on son's engagement. So nice that is someone you like!

Deb- I haven't read up on the end of the last thread so I don't know what was going on with LB's family, but I have an idea it is same old stuff.

Cheryl- definitely a new start Monday for me. Are you guys getting hit with this storm too?

Karen- Congrats on your progress! It is all good, remember slow and steady is the best way.

Are you getting that snowstorm? I never trust weathermen, because they try and sensationalize everything.

DH and DD took load of cattle to Utah, and hoping they get out and back without snowstorms............

v Yes we are getting the storm. But it will be worse north. More snow. And south is getting the freezing rain. So I can't complain.

Sleep tight Deb hope you guys weren't up early because of problems. We all stayed home. Some ice this weekend and snowed yesterday. It's gone now but more on the way tomorrow. And Friday. So we will probably stay home again. We didn't get much on Sunday but the LH area got 5".

Karen why did they take cattle to Utah? That's a ways. Congrats on the roll going away

Jo how did your first day back go? Good I hope!

Pat you ever going to get snow in CA. I hear it's getting pretty bad drought wise.

Misty I hope all is going well.

Deb- Hope you caught up on some sleep! Sounds like you had a rough couple of days.

Cheryl- Yes, we are getting hit by this one. Schools are out and we are looking at 6-10 in of snow by midnight. We already have 4 on the ground. No snow for tomorrow, but temps are supposed to be dangerously cold.

Karen- I am with you on not trusting weathermen. Ours get giddy when they start talking about storms and always seem to over estimate. I hope your dh and dd have a safe trip and miss out on all the action.

Jo- I hope you had a good first day back at work.

Trying to stick to plan, but something about being snowed in makes me want to bake cookies and eat chili. Guess I will make some of the low carb chili.. and eat my raspberry cheesecake.

The first day back was crazy and exhausting but this morning went better, might help that I had a great sleep last night. Looks like everyone is progressing well Deb enjoy your YOU day! Cheryl there sure has been a lot of snow everywhere this winter. Parts of the states on the news that normally don't get snow were a mess. V Cheesecake good choice Karen I hope they get back before the snowstorm too. DH and boys are off to Timmins tonight on the train for braces appointments and wont be home until Thursday, spoil myself night its is

Selling bulls and heifers for breeding stock.......People wanted cows...

Good way to get our name out and selling breeding stock should make more money then just selling fat cattle for beef.

We didn't get a big snow. A couple inches. Apparently the atmosphere was too dry so it snowed for hours but didn't reach the ground. Good!!

Deb what did you buy ? your saying. No I don't have Lisa's chili recipe.

V still snowing your way ? Looked like you were getting hit ! Yeah we are getting the COLD too. It makes you want to hibernate. I don't know how Jo does it.

Jo how do you not want to hibernate ? I hope you had a less crazy day today. Bet you were really missed. What did you do to spoil yourself?

Karen I hope they make it back safe. Did you say Utah? I guess I don't think of that as cattle country. on passing on the nutter butter bars.

Passed on the nutter bars, and the scale still went up .5 lbs. Oh, well. Did chili last night because it was a long night, and snow and GS kind of messed up my routine/options. Didn't feel like an omelet last night, even though that is what I should have done.......
