Karen I'm alive too V way to go on the lb and getting to the gym. Pat did you get skiing after your yoga? That should take care of the pasta. Misty glad your hubby is on the mend but sorry you still have another long trip for his check up. How did you casserole turn out? Deb I only like salmon when I cook it on a plank on the BBQ then it is yummy. Cheryl we are warming up a bit his week, not your warm but warm for us. Small town living has its ups and down but I would rather it any day. Have a great day out there girls!

Deb- the salmon and prawns sounds delicious! I love salmon any way it is cooked. But, my favorite way is grilled and drizzled with butter and lemon.
I make some pretty good salmon patties too with canned salmon. Now, I am hungry for salmon...

Cheryl: WTG on Monday work out!! Sorry about the septic problems.. sounds like dh is working his tail off trying to get it fixed. We are going for 70 degrees today before we start cooling off again. I am going to get the car washed and cleaned out. I think the snow is officially all gone, now people are complaining about all the sand on the streets that the city put down during storm.

Misty- The chicken sounded really yummy! Some people just don't like salmon. My dh has never cared for it, but he likes more of the white type fish that do not have as strong of a taste. We have been trying lots of different types of fish when we go to the Bonefish Grill restaurant. They have a large variety... about as large as we are going to find here in Kansas.

Jo- I hope you are starting to thaw out a little.

I hit the gym this morning, day 2 in a row. I am shooting for 4 days this week. My routine is 25 minutes on stationary bike, and 20 minutes on the weight machines. I am also sticking with my water.. at least 2 liters per day. I haven't given up my nightly wine yet, but we will see how the scale moves. If it has to go, it will.
I had a very simple go to low carb dinner for myself last night, but it sure was good. I cooked a hamburger steak in skillet with a little butter, lots of mushrooms. Then I smothered the hamburger with the mushrooms and melted provolone cheese on top. I am thinking of doing that again to night but adding onions and peppers sauteed to it as well.

Lizzie

It's good that you are getting back in the saddle before you gained it all back. (that's what I have done) I seem to get derailed every weekend.. but, I have just made it past one. Now to keep that going.....

Lizzie. I've been in the gaining mode lately too

It was a beautiful day. I was even able to open up the house! But I heard the frigid air is coming back next week I will enjoy while I can.

Deb you are quite the party girl this week. Give LB a B day hug for me

V quite the exercise routine. Good for you. I did my 2 exercises today. I love hamburgers but not mushrooms.

Misty that sounds so yummy

Jo I'm happy you are doing so well. Has it warmed up enough to get out? I buy the stuffed salmon at SAMs. That's the only one I have found I like.

Pat did you get to ski? I haven't been to LH for several weeks cuz of no septic so I haven't felt the quakes. The last one tho small had me heading for the door. our place is just supported on stacked cinder blocks under certain points. So it moves during the spin cycle of the washer. little earthquakes feel big. Or I'm a scaredy cat.

Karen are you hanging in there

Not on induction. Just watching what I eat. So far I'm doing 2 meals and 2 snacks. My appetite is down. I don't know if it's the weather warming or if I'm just not depriving myself of the foods I love. We will see if the weight comes off.

Just running thru....................eating is going ok. Scale isn't going up, and that helps. Deadlines Monday again, so at it hard.
Snowstorm supposed to be upon us again tomorrow
See everyone on the next trip thru

Sorry I skipped out yesterday....
I hit the gym for the third day in a row yesterday morning, and I must admit that I really had to push through my workout. But I did.
I felt so tired all day yesterday for some reason, maybe it is because it was all cloudy again. I decided to skip the workout this morning, and pick up my fourth one Friday morning. My body was kind of in shock...lol.
My weight is holding steady the last couple of days, but I think it is getting ready to drop a little again.

I have lots of running around to get done today... I hope everyone has a great day!

Jo

It was in the 60's and windy here. 50+ mph. I came out of Best Buy and it pushed me real fast for a few steps. one way to get my rear moving.

When we came out from shopping a little later it was in the 40's raining and what a windchill. How rude!!
