Deb- Beautiful necklace! I guess that will last a little longer than the car wash..

Cheryl- Our snow is not quite gone yet, but the streets are clear and I can see most of the ground now. Lots of big piles where we had to shovel.. but I think they will be gone after today.

Misty- sounds like you are getting exhausted, and way too much snow. I hope you had a nice nap and night out.

Jo- Good for you on the water! I have been doing pretty good with it too. I just make sure I keep a glass or bottle next to me all the time, and that way I keep sipping away. I hope that scale of yours is starting to do what it should be doing!

Karen- I hope things are settling down a little this weekend and you can catch up on some rest.

I am down another 2 pounds this morning. Have been on plan 7 days... and feeling very happy going into the weekend. I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing, sunny weekend!

Ok stayed on plan last night except for the wine but still down this week. Just 1.8 in two weeks but last week I was up so I am down more then that. A little over 12 pounds since my restart on the 4 of Jan so I am ok with that. Next Sat hopefully I will be back in the one's again. I slept last today and having company tonight for cards so have to plan some low carb snack. I thing a hot crab and shrimp dip with veggies to dip with or crackers for whoever wants them. V I am carrying water all the time to and WTG on the 2 lbs Deb nice necklace, Cheryl the prime rib was yummy and so were the scallops . No fun being alone for Valentine. After we ate out oldest son and girlfriend wanted to Skype with us and we were one for a couple of hours. Told there it was weird that they wanted to Skype with us but they said it was the perfect way to spend Valentines with their family Karen I am glad you got some sleep you sounded like you needed it. Pat you need to stop in soon for a longer visit, hope all is well with you. Misty that's a lot of snow, you must of been tired yesterday but glad you had fun. This sure has been a long winter for everyone. Well time to get dressed and head out for groceries. Remember drink you water we can do this!!

Good morning, no more snow today, but got 4 extra inches yesterday and the wind is horrid so didn't get much sleep. But just made a big pot of cornchowder And going to try a new rcipe I seen on Rachel Ray called chicken in a sack and see how it comes out looks easy enough.

Deb wow I love your new necklace it's beautiful. Glad to hear your getting better.

Jo your doing great on plan that's a nice total loss. How was your card game, the dip sounds yummy. We don't have much company during the winter and I miss it. Most of our friends are smokers and it makes it hard because they have to smoke outside. So we mainly go out to dinner with the ones that live here during the winter.

Cheryl your so lucky to have nice warm weather, I want some. Did you get the garage door fixed yet??

V wtg on 2 lbs that's great. Sounds like your thawing out too. My day will come probably around June

Misty cards were fun and the Dip is yummy. Still way to cold here. I know what you mean about people that smoke, no smoking in my house either. Feel bad for them but it just way healthier that way. Our weather is suppose to start warming up next week to single - digits but at least we will be able to start doing outdoor things again. Deb glad your all better and got out in the sunshine. Cheryl the Prime Rib was wonderful but roasted chicken tonight. DH is going to cook my birthday supper next Saturday so we can have wine *L* its not till the 24th but he rather make it on the weekend. He is not great in the kitchen and normally makes Prime Rib Steaks because he can do that so we will see. My birthday and Mothers day are the only days he cooks. *LOL* V keep at it we both are doing good finally for me. Deb I would love to go to Misty's we would have a blast I am sure Have a great Sunday!

GJo~Hate the smell of smoke. I may be have to go to a casino this week to visit w/DH's relatives. I hate the smoke in those casinos. LOL...on DH & his 2 cooking dates!

CJ~Heard there were some earthquakes in OK. Any in ur area? Haven't been skiing yet. But, looks like I may go today after yoga. Still on induction or off it?

Karen~Burrr-cold! Busy time of the year for U!

Scale is not my friend. Was a bad Girl on VDay & had pasta last nite! Off to Yoga & then hoping to meet up w/GF to ski. Hoping the wind stays calm today or we may not go.

Minus 4 this morning but I still made it to the gym because I need some things for a seafood casserole I'm making tonight. Never made it before. But the night us girls were at the FD making the guys breakfast we traded alot of recipes. Getting 6-8 inches of snow tomorroe and I have to work, see how that goes.

Pat DH is doing good, it still hurts a bit but will take time to heal because it's inside the canal. We go back next Monday for a finale recheck I hope. I so hate that trip. I cooked the chicken breast in parchment paper. First vegis, spices and italian dressing then chicken breast on top. It was really good and tender. Great make ahead meal for company. Hows the weather up your way, you got alot of snow??

No Deb think that's the only way I haven't tried it.
Recipe is
1 med.sweet pot. chopped and nucked
1 c. onion chopped steamed
ic milk,1/2 c sour cream, 2 tsp butter, 1/2 c shredded cheddar,2tbs old bay
then 1/4 lb shrimp, 1/2 lb cod cut bite size, 1/4 lb bay scallops 1 bsg frozen spinach and 1/4 c mozzarella.
then add to dish, top with spinach and potato and pour the sauce over everthing. top with mossarella. bake35 min on 350

Sounds like a lot of prep but it only takes minutes. Now to taste it????

I worked today. It was beautiful out. A little cool with the wind but I can't complain. I hope all you snow people warm up soon.

Septic still down at the LH. DH cut the concrete. Then he tried to smash it with a sledge. He couldn't. So next weekend he will rent a jackhammer. It's hard to get things done when the rental place closes early on Sat. And is closed on Sunday. Small towns.
