Fast Weight Away by Valentine's Day

Anyone up for a 5 Week Fast Challenge?

Measure Yourself!

Guidelines: At the start of this challenge, measure your upper arm, rib cage, waist, stomach, hips, and upper thigh.
week 1
2. Fast Day Each Week

Guidelines: Fast at least once a week - any type of fast you choose. Time fast - you choose the hours during 24hrs that you do not eat; Complete fast - No eating or drinking; Water fast - only water allowed; Juice fast - only juice allowed; Calorie fast - usually limit to 500cals for women, 600cals for men; Fat fast - eat all the fat items you want but at least above 75% of your daily intake.

3. Weigh-in Weekly

Guidelines: After the fast day of your choice, weigh in your weight for the week.

4. Record everything you eat (optional)


Guidelines: Keep a record of all the food you consumed.

5. Stay Hydrated!

Guidelines: Drink at least 8x8 water daily.

6. Unprocess the Processed Foods (optional)


Guidelines: Avoid Anything that has been subject to extensive processing and additives: - canning - pre-cooking - Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) - Artificial Colors (e.g. Blue No. 1, Red No. 40 , Yellow No. 5, etc.) - Hydrogenated and Partially Hydrogenated Oils (avoid anything with anything hydrogenated in the ingredients label and "trans fat" on the nutrition label) - High fructose corn syrup (yup, that means NO soda, coke, pop, etc.) - Preservatives - Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydrozyttoluene (BHT) - Sodium nitrate or Sodium Nitrite (found in lunch meat, bacon, smoked fish) - Potassium Bromate (found in breads and flour) 1. Check your labels! 2. Keep us posted on any foods with additives you found that we should all know about. 3. Share some recipes - especially quick cooking recipes if you have any you want to share.

7. Measure Yourself!

Guidelines: Before the end of this challenge, measure yourself - upper arm, rib cage, waist, stomach, hips, upper thigh.
week 5


8. Share your Opinion!

Guidelines: Tell us how you are doing, what you have liked about this challenge, what has been your greatest struggle, what type of fast have you done throughout the challenge.

upper arm 13
bust 37
rib cage 32
waist 39
stomach 40
hips 41.5
upper thigh 23
weight 164.4

My goal for Valentine's Day is to get into a solid size 12, currently size 14 some 12's.
