Weekly Personal Challenge--Anyone interested?
 
I have been having trouble staying on track for any length of time. So I am going to break it down to weekly goals and see if that helps me any. I am going to try very hard this week to keep to specific goals. If anyone wants to try this also, I would welcome company.

BF will be bacon only. Coconut oil in 1 coffee each morning.
Nothing except water for the entire week. Only snacks will be roasted almonds.
Also jog 10 minutes each day.

These are my goals for this week. Weighed in 193 this morning. See what the week does.

Anyone else want to post weekly goals and how we do on them?

I'm in, I like the idea of weekly challenges, alot easier to keep track of. I been slowly ouncing my way back up and it sure something I don't want to do with the holidays coming up.
This week
M-F go to gym
eat LC no cheats
drink my water
to lose something, anything will do as long as the scale is down some

I'm going to post food

Break. 2 1/2 slices meat pizza. Protein shake with milk and banana. Butterfinger.

Lunch. 2 wieners. My staple. I always get home late and still need to put work in puter.

Dinner chicken fajita meat with onions.

L-bowl of egg drop soup
D-spaghetti squash with sauce and meat balls, salad

Ok. On plan diet wise- yes!

10000 steps in - yes!

I was doing perfect, until I got home and family decided restaurant for DH birthday tomorrow.......so I did eat salad, pork tenderloin, but splurged on baked potato.

I did get 20 minutes horseback and 5 minutes jogging, so today didn't end up on track.

Tomorrow night DH bowls, so I have total control of my evening meals on Tuesday!!
I will stay on track all day tomorrow!!

SO GLAD TO SEE YOU GUYS!!!!!
I hope weekly helps all of us!!

Supper last night did not let the scale go down.

BF eggs and sausage.
Coffee is at the office. DD is fixing taco pie for DHs birthday lunch.
Then salad for supper....

i like this idea, my brain operates on weeks too :)

my goals this week are:

---M-F 1 hour daily workout (Monday night completed - 1 hr kickbox cardio)
---1 gallon (or more) water daily
---pop a multivitamin every day (i need to get back on my vitamin regimen)

Yes, the potato got me.......but so far, I am on track all day today. And by checking this thread BEFORE supper, I am going to save the apple crisp til tomorrow noon!! Just have to jog yet tonight.

Found a free ebook on Carb Cycling....has anyone read that?

:welcome: Barbie I think by doing a challenge once a week I be more successful

Scale was up a bit this morning, not to happy with that.But stayed right on plan today.
B* oatmeal, black coffee
L* cheese and pepperoni-not very hungry
D* Baked ham, spagetti squash tossed with cheese and cup of green beans.

Deb night snacking is my problem too, guess I should add no night snacking to my weekly goal.

Karen my friend does carb cycling and does really well. Are you going to try it. I have the book but never read it yet. Picked it up at a tag sale. The one I have is by Chris Powell is that the same one?

Karen :shake: on saving the apple crisp! I did carb cycling and it was working for me. I don't remember what happened that I quit. I know when I googled I came up with a bunch of body builders. I kinda had to figure it out for myself. Clue us in on the free e book.

Big breakfast. Meat Pizza2 slices, protein shake with Milk and banana. Butterfinger.

Lunch 2 wieners

Dinner. 3 oz sirloin steak and green beans.

I've indulged enough pizza. Something different tomorrow. I need at least 5 oz protein.

Hi everyone! I finally made it over here....
So my goals this week are:
Drink a lot of water
Carbs kept at induction level
No Wine

So far I am on track except for the water.. I just do not drink much during the day. But, I am filling up my big cup now and going to drink on it the rest of the evening.

I did Eggs and Sausage for BF...so Yes.
Skipped coffee this morning and drank water.
No snacks today at all!!
Normal lunch.
Supper I did eggs again, because I had checked this site before eating!!
Jogging now, as I watch Biggest Loser, so I made all goals today!!!!

Scale has recovered from 3 days with restaurant food!!
Started this morning with bacon and glass of water, so got started today with my goals intact.

Windy here, and temps are dropping.

Not really hungry this morning BB harder today. But I used my protein shake to make up for the meat protein I didn't get. Could only get down 2 oz instead of 5.
Had a few p Chips for carb and some animal crackers with icing for my sweet. And bacon.

No movement on the scale today.
Week 1 BB -2.5#

Good Morning Ladies :hiya:

It is very windy here as well this morning. The temps are pretty nice, but they say we have a bunch of cold air heading our way from Canada. (thanks, deb)
So tomorrow we have rain turning into sleet and then snow overnight. I will try to get my errands run early this week so I don't have to get out in it much.

The scale is holding steady. I am drinking water early today, since it seems to be my weakness right now. Already have had 16oz this morning.

B: Coffee & Ham/Cheese Omlette
L: 2 hot dogs
D: Cubed Steak and Spinach Salad

Carb cycling sounds interesting to me. I think there is a new book out about it that is supposed to be pretty good. I will try to remember the name of it. Right now my brain is induction fuzzy...

Cheryl- you are doing great! Breakfast is harder for me as I don't usually get an appetite until closer to lunch time.

Karen- what's the name of the free ebook on cycling? That may be the book I heard about. Congrats for bringing the scale back down so quickly!

Right on plan again today, scale is down .6 finally a drop. Neighbor brought over some home made apple cake for a snack when we watched BL put I was glad I was to full from dinner to eat any. DH ate it when he got home:clap: Can't believe some of the big weight loses they have, wish I could lose like that.
B-cheese omlette with salsa on top, black coffee
L-sm salad from BK, diet coke
D-grilled steak, sm baked sweet potato and sliced tomatoes with dressing.

Karen are you going to try the Carb Cycling?

Miss V I have a carb cycling book written by Chris Powell is that the one your thinking of.? I know thre's a few out there.

D dry rub smoked ribs and calif. Vegs.

New weekly goal. Don't let DH criticism derail me. He smoked the ribs earlier this year. I put them in foil and cooked them for 2 h at 250. Thought they would be real tender. They weren't. Not tough but not fall apart tender. I heard about it. So I have to not let these things get to me. Sorry for the rant but I needed to get it out.
