Well I think I did pretty good for this weeks challenge. Had a lb loss but scale went up a bit, but still down a little so I'll take it. Now going to see what I want to set for my goal this week. For sure no night time snacks.

Karen what's no-rules lunch?

Cheryl my Dinner will be ok for me but just found out friends want us to come over to another full Turkey dinner on Friday. Yikes 2 days in a row. I guess all we can do is the best we can with the eating. My main goal is no deserts.

My scale is going to stay in the bad boy closet for the rest of the year

So New week....

ran today
RX class tomorrow
Tuesday--run
Wed--yoga
Thursday--RX class
Friday--run
saturdays im taking off

make sure I get my vits in with my shake in the morning/along with my acv and water daily

portion control/mini meals
going to try to get in 4-7 meals a day and no eating after supper

no-rules lunch means I am at mercy of caterer for Mon and tues, thanksgiving is Thurs, so instead of worrying about carbs I can't control, I am focusing on no snacks or sf drinks...

about CAD method of eating...

Are you going to start a new thread every week or continue this one?

My week. I still managed to lose a little over 1# this week despite my ups and downs.

Next week vlc Mon and Tues. then wing it between Wed- Sun. As as I traverse all the different TH dinners, travel etc. I hope to at least maintain.

My main thought was to set weekly goals. I would be ok with monthly new thread but every week I am posting my results and then set new week plan. What do people want to do? I am just happy to have you all here. And I think I have been not eating enough calories.............

Back to journaling my food--works best for me
5 days a week exercise
no snacking at night
eat L/C as best I can because of thanksgiving.

Karen how about we do it by the Month but put the week down, like I did above. That way we can look back for reference????

I am back after, a long busy weekend... I met my goals last week except for the water intake. It should be the easiest goal, but somehow I just dropped the ball. I did end up with a 2 pound loss at the end of the week, so that is a plus.

November 24 goals:
1. Water, water, water
2. Stay on plan. Induction is over.. but keeping carbs under 30
3. Eat more veggies

I did have a splurge day on Saturday. I had eggplant parmesean, salad and a glass of wine. I made sure I ate mostly the breaded eggplant with just a small amount of pasta. Oh yes and I had one breadstick.. it was olive garden, so I had to.

Did really good today, now if only the scale would realize that. Didn't get to the gym but did shoveling and a nice long walk so that good. Started writing down my food and see what happens.

Nope, couldn't make it thru second day on-plan. BOREDOM got the best of me. I had to do something, so I ate
One can only sit and listen to tax rules for so long before one breaks.......

Tomorrow will be better. Supper tonight is Triscuit crackers.......and I am enjoying every one of them/./

Been doing good on plan but I'm sure going to have some wine, but passing on the desserts, I hope.

Karen yup just get back on plan, it'll be ok. Try and plan ahead for goodies when the old bordem sets it . I do the same thing. And then I say to myself I really wasn't even hungry.

B-black coffee
L-BK burger no bun, side salad, diet coke
D-pork tenderloin, roasted cauli, broccoli and potatoes in garlic butter. No potatoes for me.

It is a hard weekend to stay on plan, I think Monday will start with fresh goals for a new month.

I am happy that I have not gained much of my weight back even eating off plan... so I am looking forward to continuing my loss.

2nd week Goals:

BF--LC or none
Coffee with Coconut Oil or Safflower(linoleic fat) in mornings only
SF drinks only allowed at tax schools Monday and Tuesday
Only snacks--Almonds
Exercise--average 10 minutes per day

Made LC BF every day this week.
I did not do coffee every day. But this is OK in my book.
SF drinks I did more than anticipated. Shopping with early morning Diet Pop...
Snacks--only almonds. That on accomplished.
Exercise--only probably made 5 minutes per day. Got battery for my stopwatch, and I have been lying to myself about how much jogging I have been doing

As of this morning, I am 192.5, so finally down 1.5 lbs. Progress....

Week 3: Starting at 192.5 lbs

LC only BF.
20 minutes of exercise every day. (up from 10)
4 bottles of water every day. (cutting back on SF drinks)
Almonds or nuts are only snack allowed.
Coconut or Safflower oil every day....usually in coffee to increase fat (curb hungry)

I think I am deciding that 4 goals per week is about the most I can keep track of. Or maybe more than that just gets too restrictive.

Then I will see how many weeks it takes before a goal becomes a habit and I can move to another goal area.

I understand on the parties..... next Sunday is bank party. Lobster and steak, any alcohol you want, and they order all the appetizers...mushrooms, onion rings, cheese balls and shrimp cocktails.........

That one is always hard on the scale but bank pays all, so to the scale....

Ok my goals for this week.
Lose 2 #
Do big breakfast unless there is a get together. Then save it for that meal. Essentially carbs once a day.
Find out why I am hurting again. I suspect it is Vit D I started taking again. So off it for a week and see what happens.
Continue my 10000 steps.

I have a goal this week I can share. My goal for the week is to stay on plan every day. I also want to lose three pounds. I know that's too much but I am still in the first month of my current attempt at weight loss, so I actually expect to see it come off rather quickly the first few weeks.

NEXT week is going to be the challenge. Going out to eat (twice) with my Spanish classes (we have to order in Spanish) AND there's a Christmas potluck at my ladies' Bible study group. Then another potluck the following week. Ugh! I have no idea how I am going to stay on plan.
