I went back and looked at weekly weights. I have been lax, and just looking at daily weights. Need to get back to more attention to my eating.

Average weights for the week
12-19 -----193.14.....226.0 DH
12-26........193.29.....224.43 DH
1-2............192.5.......224.92 DH
1-9...........192.42.....224.71 DH
1-16..........192.79.....224.21 DH
1-23..........192.86......223.79 DH

Really a wakeup call for me. I have been fooling myself into thinking I was eating well. Evidently, this is proof I have not been paying attention. Not sure where to even start to correct it, but at least wake-up call before the scale started going up.

I was going to do ribs tonight, but maybe I need to do eggs again!!

Made it through the first two weeks. I went from 261.8 down to 249.6. I found I am now at the point of no more water weight. My weight is bouncing back and forth for the last 4 days. My goal for this week is once again to just stay on plan and no cheats. My second goal is to be 248.0. I am finding still my stomach has been feeling quite bloated and have not figured it out yet as to why. I am still having a little twinge of my acid reflux as well. This usually goes away when I eat low carb.

I am starting over. I think the only way to do this is go back to induction. I have tried many different ways because I couldn't stand the thought of doing induction again. But the carbs gradually start me craving and I end up eating way too many. So out with them! I have continued my walking and twice weekly " weightless training". I cut back on my mag because my hips were hurting. Maybe every other day?

Week 1
Induction.
Weigh tomorrow.
Cont 10000 steps
Weightless training
Experiment with mag.

I am adding back to my week's goals.

I HAVE to lose 1# per week. I am sick and tired of treading water (so to speak)
And I can tell myself any excuse about doing better and eating healthier, but the freaking scale is not moving.

So surely, in 1 week's time, I can lose 1 lb.......

Adding to my weekly goal......no excuses. 192.5 This morning. Going to be 191.5 or lower by next sunday!

I have a meeting with supper tomorrow night. So I am planning now. Eggs for BF tomorrow. And then a shake for lunch instead of potato soup and crackers (Son brings lunch on Monday)

I am going to start planning for success, instead of allowing failure. I am sick of myself at this point in time. (Maybe it is the blizzard outside.) Sorry for subjecting you all to my venting, but I am venting at myself. Hope you guys are doing better!

Made and Excel spreadsheet tonight to track my exercise (or lack of) each day. Then listed my good habits/bad habits to track those also.
Should only take me 2 minutes every day to track it, to get some better habits built in.,

Wish me luck!!!

Definitely made my 3 minutes of Quiet today. All this introspection, and you guys have already been subjected to my decisions.......

Am drinking water as we speak, and my exercise is going to be the house cleaning I did today. More than usual!!
Did chicken on lettuce for lunch, only BF was coffee with mom, and supper was Baby Back Ribs and veggies. (and handful of peanut M & M's but hiding them as of now)

See what scale does tomorrow.

Blizzard weather outside. Not a lot of snow here, but wind and cold for sure!!

A quick fly by. Caught up in flood-related maintenance and renovation. Gak. Lots of drain/gutter clearing and some necessary clean-up, running dehumidifiers and painting.

I'm more or less on track - I can't quite grasp how tricky it is to tweak the konjac level to the point where it's helpful rather than unhelpful but I'll get there.

I hope that we're all managing OK with are various weather-related challenges.

Hope your life settles down. I have deadlines on Friday, and then it will settle down just a little. At least take the "push" out of the day.

I just looked up konjac. May have to do more research on that.

Checking in. Eating on plan and trying to keep warm. We are under a deep freeze and a layer of ice. It has ben a long time since this happened. All of the interstate and large bridges are closed. Really can't go anywhere. Scale is moving slowly now. Down to 248.2 this morning. 13 lbs since starting on 1/12.

The south is getting hammered this winter. Us in the north are thankful for what reprieves we get, Lots of wind here though. Stronger than I ever remember....

Watched my granddaughter for my daughter because she walks to work and on Tuesday morning was when our arctic freeze with sleet was moving in. Today being stuck in the house with son from school, the baby and my husband and trying to work (I work from home for an online school that caters to home schooled students), I forgot to eat lunch.
Still working on eating on plan one day at a time. We ate grilled shrimp salad for dinner tonight.

My goal daily is to eat 2 eggs cooked in butter and 4 slices of bacon for breakfast. Lunch is usually a salad with 3 oz. of meat (usually chicken or a hamburger). Dinner is 3-4 oz. protein (fish, beef, chicken, or pork) and 1 cup of vegetables(spinach, french style green beans, broccoli, cauliflower) with butter or olive oil. .

This usually falls 1200-1400 calories, 70-75% fat.

More rain and flooding. I'm caught up in helping out former neighbours with cleaning and painting from last flood and I'm heartsick of it while acknowledging that it needs to be done. The light just isn't right for painting and it's not drying well because it's still so wet - but I know that people are miserable so I just have to write this off as a temporary fix until it can be done properly.

I just can't seem to get the konjac right. I might have to try alternate days to see if that works better and then increase from there.

Not noticing anything from the Mg but then I'm so disrupted this month it would be hard to tell

How are you faring?

Dec 2014 A DXA scan reported very low muscle mass (sarcopenia) so I'm still thinking about how to cope with that. I have some joint surgery to schedule. I may miss questions that people ask me or personals. Apologies if I do, it's not intentional.

So sorry your life is in turmoil right now. Mother Nature is way more force than people want to admit, sometimes. Iowa has had 3 "100 yr floods" in the last 20 years. It makes one admit that we are not in control.......just deal with what life brings us.

My scale has been holding steady. At least not going up. My average for the week went down, like .10 lbs......
Too bad it is 10 lbs up from a year ago....

Week 11: Starting weight 192.5 Modified

Exercise every day.....at least 10 minutes of planks/pushups, weights.
Track water and Non-water drinks to get a handle on my fluid intake.
Goal is 128 ounces because I have no idea what I drink.
3 minutes of Stress Relief (quiet) every day.
LOSE 1 LB each Week!!!!

The scale went down .5, but I feel much better about the week's weight.
I still am having no problem staying away from pop. Less coffee, also. Water still is not up to what I need to do. I am thirsty every morning, but think I am drinking more.
I am forgetting the 3 minutes of quiet time. But also was a deadline week, so should ease up this week.

I would give myself a C- for the week, and I am an "A" kind of person.......

Week 11

Weight stable from the uptick. Not the plan at all. Supposed to be going down

Stressing still after 2 1/2 years from the tornado aftermath. Between Moms health issues from it and the problems we keep finding with her new house. And all the problems at the LH. Flunking miserably.

On the positive side I am making progress with exercise.

So I need to work on anger/stress. Which will lead to better eating. Continue sneaking up on my exercise. Keep it simple. I think I will just attempt one change at a time. Right now that is stress reduction.

Weight is up today because I could not control myself or did not want to control myself yesterday for the Super Bowl. Back on track today!! Only a 2 lb. bounce up because of it. Fasted most of the day and ate a salad for dinner. Goal: to stay on track and lose that jump up on the scale. I al real bad about not measuring and only using the scale to show losses.
