Hi Guys!

Late check in again today. Guess whose TOM showed up 5 days early today???? Yup, that would be me. Maybe that's why my scale refused to budge all week. Hopefully at least now I'll be losing weight after it's gone.

Menu today:
B: carrot/ginger/apple juice
L: hand full of raw almonds
D: Green juice

FF I know you will have a whoosh after TOM leaves

I am hungry today. Of course, today was hellish and I didn't get to eat like I should...I kind of ran out of "legal" veggies so by the time I got to the store...I'm kind of eh

I have stuff for the next three days. I'm going to be doing a lot of cooking tomorrow so I can breeze through the next 3 days...these are the golden days Olda described
I will be making chocolate steel cut oat here in the crock pot in a few to cook over night it sounds amazing...and I know I will have enough food...too much I'm sure. I have been trying to figure out my menu but it is a little complicated figuring out the right amount of fat and protein combo

So the bad news...I caved and got on the scale...the good news...I'm down over three pounds since starting I am not getting on the scale til late next week

YAY ! Beach ! Down 3 !

I am down also! YAY ME! 158.4 today! Hope to hold this number or go down more - NOT BACK UP as has been my usual routine. Weekends can tempt me to over eat. Maybe I'll do some heavy cleaning................... then again, maybe not........

BEACH!!!! I am so happy for you!!!!! Over 3 pounds is amazing. I KNEW you were gonna jump in and make it look easy like you always do! So proud of you!

Morning Everyone else!

So, I'm obviously not stepping on the scale again until TOM is gone, but I'm confident the scale will be lower once I do. I didn't even really feel that bloated this week, which is another reason I was shocked TOM showed up so early. I'm taking it easy with the workouts for the next few days. Today is day 2 and I usually can't even leave the house on day 2. Oy.

Today will be dedicated to putting up Christmas decorations! It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!!!

Menu:
B: hand full of almonds (this was unplanned. lol) and carrot/ginger/apple juice
L: chicken broth
D: green juice

Lots of water and coffee today to combat any cravings and bloat that might come with this horrid TOM.

Well I had a victory yesterday...We went to Claim Jumper ( I think its a west coast chain)..We haven't gone since we moved here but we remembered how good the food was from when we lived in California...the one thing I adored was their honey bran muffin ( more a cupcake than any "healthy" muffin)...we arrived and right at the door was the dessert counter and they had this mile high choc cake..I told my husband "ok that might tempt me"...as we were seated ..I figured Id have a bowl of steak chili and a side salad with blue cheese...I ate 1/3 of the chili and 1/5 of the salad and I was stuffed..my husband ordered the sourdough cheese bread not the muffin ...which was easy to ignore..
by the time the waiter asked if we wanted dessert...we both groaned and said "NO!!"

I was doing the happy dance to the car!!!

today's weight - 158.2 Woo! Hoo! I got on the scale in the middle of the day yesterday and it lite up 157.8 !!!! I was like "WOW" , but of course after dinner (meatloaf and green beans) it nudged back up. BUT I"M NOT COMPLAINING .

I am not getting on the scale till next Fri or Sat. so we will see where this takes me. I do feel really good P3 is kind of confusing, but I think I have it...I found out I messed up P2 by having an extra 1.5 egg white for snacks
so all in all, losing 5 pounds, I'd say it worked out

Weigh in day is tomorrow for me....Ive done well on eating and exercise... I don't trust the scale....BUT I committed to weighing for accountability...so Im gonna do it...

today I am walking 40 min to finish up my exercise goal of 420 min this week...

Well... Since Thursday (when my kid became very sick with a virus and a fever that refused to break until TODAY) all my days have been UD or MD... My nerves are shot. Sunday is a standard UD no matter what it actually is, because it's my family's day to eat together. Tomorrow is my actual UD and I've gotten into the routine with the other UD girls... I don't want to switch it. =) So Tuesday is my next DD, but tomorrow I'm not going to eat like a buffalo! =D

Garden I am with you on Sunday breakfast. Its always been the day I make pancakes for my kids.

Beach - 5 lbs is awesome!

Lowcarbed - 420 min is amazing way to go!

Olda - jealous of your prep work for the week.

FF- TOM will be gone before you know it.

LCL- Whats homage pizza? Pizza is very hard for me to resist. Love it!

This weekend was so-so with eating. Back on track today.

Grocery store this morning. Then exercise then depending on how ambitious I am paying my bills.

Beach!!! I am so proud of you!!! Love love love this way of eating. I wish I could muster the energy to do one more round and stay in the 130s but I just cant seem to get going.

Good job on the loss Deb!!!

I was kinda excited about Homage pizza too!!!

Amity, thats what Mondays are for!!!

Made Lentil soup in the crock pot and its yummy. I am just so so though. Without exercise I have to keep my eating in check. Lets see how well I do!!!

I'm a little worried about the scale...but avoiding it til the end of the week. I really like this plan. It is mentally so do-able. 2 day phases (except P3) and on to the next is so easy...I really believe it trains you mentally. It is a relief to think, yeah, I can have this in a day or two...it really does something to calm you down. Nothing (but coffee, sugar, flour) is off limits...and other than coffee...I stayed away from the rest anyway. so easy, so satisfying...and if I lose weight...I'm thrilled...I just have to fit into some clothes because I have a complete closet full of stuff I can't wear...and I mean I have an INSANE closet full of size 8-10s...my hat clothes consist of two pair of large sweat pants, one pair of leggings, and one pair of large 10 jeans...no a lot of options...and very little for business wear.

I like P1...except I get really tired during that phase. P2...I just felt yucky...headache, sleepy, but wow, I slept good. P3...I sleep HORIBLE...I don't know why, but I wake up at midnight and want to jump out of my skin but I wake up and feel really good and alert all day
