Beach, you haven't lost the battle until you've given up and I know you, you never give up. You'll be back to your normal fighting spirit soon. You can do this! Just think how much better you'll feel by the time the holidays hit us, if you start right now. This minute!

LCL, You've done sooooo well the past month or so, don't sabotage yourself now. I know how you feel and I'm the SAME way...I tend to cheat when I'm stressed or upset. What I'm trying to do is to ask myself...will food make me feel better? Or worse? The answer is ALWAYS going to be worse. Stay strong. You got this!

Good morning everyone else!

I hit the gym this morning right after taking my DD to school and got in another 30 minute walk on the treadmill! Yay!!!!! I think the key for me is going to be getting dressed for the gym as soon as I wake up, and head there as soon as I take DD to school EVERYDAY....

That's my battle plan. Right now I still get tired after 30 minutes which goes to show how out of shape I'm in. But I'm hoping in another week or so I'll be able to add a few more minutes to my workout every time.

Menu today:
B: Mean Green Juice
L: sauteed mushrooms and onions
S: turkey deli meat
D: Mean Green Juice

Exercise: 30 minutes treadmill
Water: 120 oz

Thanks for the "pats on the back" everyone! It really feels good to see the number change. I haven't seen this number since the end of September and I sure hope it continues to decline!

B-coffee/2 eggs
L-tuna w/mayo
D-??? not sure (since someone got into the leftover turkey parts)

OMG...Beach...remember way back when...when you were juicing a lot? Was it celery that you said was disgusting?

Because I put celery in my green juice tonight and it was DISGUSTING. I couldn't even drink it, it was so bad. Now I'm starving and I have to wait until breakfast to have my normal green juice sans celery.

Ugh. Never again.

WOO! HOO! 2 days in a row! 158.8 today!

Had chicken broth, Flat Out wrap with a cheese stick rolled inside for dinner. Nuked it for 30seconds. It was satisfying. I wished I'd had some pizza quick sauce to dip it in - woulda' tasted like pizza! The wrap was only 90 calories with 14 grams of fiber.

Hope I can keep up with this pace of not eating much and losing the excess weight .

I usually use kale, apple, and ginger. Those are the main ingredients and that tastes the best. But sometimes I'll add cucumber in (but it's not as good with cucumber) and sometimes I add lemon. I also like it with cilantro sometimes.

Boo Hiss! My encounter with the scale this morning was a disappointment . 159 RATS! Up 1/2 pound instead of down and I wasn't indulgent at all yesterday. I will be outside today building a new field stone wall
around a flower bed that I'm refurbishing so maybe the result of the exercise will make me happy when I weigh tomorrow. We'll see. I won't be derailed. I won't!

Kitty: congrats!! Garden: it might be a fluke!

Im a little anxious about weighing in on Mon....UGH!!! I know I will struggle with the number...but as my bff assures me" It's just a number..face it and get over it"..My exercise is going great...437 min this week so far..we are going to try to walk the park today to add another 45-60 min...why is it my walk outside feels so much more strenuous than my treadmill workout at the Y???

Kitty - YAY for you!

Amity - I know what you mean about the scale!

My friendly scale was the same today! Another Boo! Hiss! day
I worked my tail off outside yesterday, but was not rewarded when I weighed. So sad! But I enjoyed what I was doing and will get back out there today.

Have a good day girls!

Morning All!

Kitty, what a great loss this week!!! Yahoo! Almost back to the 150's! yay!

LCD, GREAT job with all the exercise!

Amity, my scale isn't budging much either. But I did add exercise back this week, and I know you have been exercising too, so maybe our bodies are just getting used to the new activity. If we stick it out we'll break through this stall!

As for me, I forgot to check in yesterday, I think.
I didn't really exercise yesterday. I went for a 20 minute walk with the dog, which is not at all like my walks on the treadmill. Much less strenuous. More like a stroll. lol But at least it was something. I might go for a swim today. Yesterday it was all rainy and yucky so I couldn't.

As for food. I ate more than usual yesterday too. Even though it was all low carb. I felt really full though. Which is not a feeling that i like.

B: 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties
L: handful of carrots with hummus, a few cheese slices, handful of nuts
D: Chicken Fajitas (Just the filings, no tortilla for this girl!)

So anyways, it was great, but like I said, way too much food. The sausage patties alone were 270 calories for two tiny patties! So today I think I'll keep it simple to combat yesterdays high calorie day. Just coffee and water all day and then a green juice for dinner tonight.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Beach, how are you doing? I miss you. Get back in the zone! You are always so motivating when you're in the zone with us! lol

I did well yesterday....got in another 35 min walk in the park...I live in a sunny warm climate so walking outdoors is possible 9 months out of the year..I have a Y membership to eliminate my excuses...That still doesn't mean I don't get lethargic...sigh

Ate on plan...did have 1 more glass of wine than Id planned at the WineWalk..the good part was if I didn't like the wine I was sampling..I threw it out..and I threw out a lot.
Our foodie group is more about the experience of tasting wine and finding new favorites..we soon realized that most of the crowd was there to get drunk..and it wasn't pretty..We left after 2 hours..the Hosts of the event had sadly under estimated the capacity of the crowd to drink..the hor douvres were out before we got there! It was a fundraiser for a good cause so we weren't upset at all..next year we may simply donate!!! LOL The extra glass of wine was at dinner...I ordered a glass of wine I really liked.. so a total of 2.5 glasses of wine over 4 hrs..and ate totally on plan.. walked and walked...( they had not planned well for parking so we walked quite a distance to the event..totally loved that part)....Im drinking lots of water today to help flush any bloating from the wine.
