More Gobble, Less Wobble IV
 
Join our group if you're looking for fun and support on your journey!

This will be a 4 week challenge. The first weigh in will be Saturday, Nov. 2nd. The last will be Saturday November 30th. If you forget to weigh in, do so as soon as you can. We are a friendly, fun loving, supportive group! But we are willing to kick your booty if needed! LOL Hoping to get reenlistments, and all new enlistments are welcome as well!

Everyone is welcome no matter what plan you are on!!! Maintainers are also
welcome to join in on the challenge. We are all here to support your weightloss/fitness journey. Any A.W.O.L. members from past challenges will be given full pardon.

Fall is in full swing and so are the the temptations of carby comfort food. We will make it through this rough battle together and come out fighting!

Kitty! I'm in! I weighed this morning...207. Ugh! I am spending the weekend getting stocked up, preparing easy to grab and go breakfasts and lunches, and renewing my commitment. Thanks for starting this! :jumpjoy:

Laura, I love that picture w/ the blue jacket. You have a nice shape.. I notice because no matter how thin I might become I'll always be a tube.. no waist no butt..lol!

day long major gardening. Finally getting to the project I wanted to do since we bought the place in 85! Covering the bank that runs along our driveway with perennials. Got the plastic on, holes dug (thanks to DH) and plants in. Now, to get rock to cover the rest of the plastic. No more DH mowing that dangerous hill.

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are making the most of your extra hour. Baby J doesn't understand about an extra hour of sleep, so we are up early!
Starting the day with a cup of coffee with half and half and coconut oil. One of my favorite low carb things! Plan for the day is eggs and bacon for breakfast, taco salad for lunch, and some to be determined chicken dish for dinner.

My oldest son turns 21 tomorrow, so my husband and I are taking a road trip to his college to have dinner with him tonight .....:birthday:
I cannot believe he's 21!!!

I cooked all day yesterday and am bringing a complete dinner, for his actual birthday night,
for him and his roommates (7 GUYS!:stars:) ...... I hope I made enough....:lol:

Yes, his mowing that always worried me. He had to do one more mowing before we through the plastic over it. :dunno: he said to get the leaves off and of course the grass was a tad high :stars:

This month has been good so far! I'm not so surprised because I had been holding for a while. Hopefully I can build in lots of cushion, I plan on carb cycling near turkey day. No bread or sugar but some whole foods like sweet potatoes and turnips - that I generally structure in sparingly if at all.

Hello to all my fellow Pennsylvanians.

Massage tonight and getting some detox tea. Not a bad Monday at all.
Hard to believe another year is almost in the books.

I'm not from PA, but my parents live in the northeastern part of the state (near Scranton) so I can be your PA step sister. :)
I had a really good weekend, and I have all my low carb foods in my lunch bag for my day at the office, so I'm feeling good. I even brought some broth to ward off the headaches!!
I am on this!

Meg, you are really on the ball!! Well done. I can't say I've been great.. stupid TOM really hit me hard, not off plan foods so much as just too much food period!! Not weighing in today.. I will be vlc til our weigh in and then see what I did. Oh well, over it!! So glad I am back to where it's easy to get right back on track.. I lost a few months the other way. Lost 10 lbs this month.. had been down another few, but I will reserve the surprise for weigh in.. :/

Happy Tuesday everyone! Ready to kick some turkey butt today?
I work from home on Tuesday and Thursday. I am so lucky! I have a sitter for a few hours during the day, so if I'm lucky, I'll get to take my walk today. I go 3 miles. I live on the niagara river, so it is very scenic, but looking at the weather, I'll need to bundle up!
Plan today is
Breakfast
Pumpkin bake
Lunch
Chicken, salad and soup
Dinner
I am going to try a Linda Sue recipe for chicken Divan...I'll report back. :)

Ok correction ! I swear I'd forget my head if it wasn't pinned on! But I've been reminded that I have a business dinner tonight, so it will be steak and veggies, my go to, stand by restaurant on plan pick! And ok, I admit, I will probably have a glass of wine...just one!

I've exercised for the past two days. I'm talking myself into exercising by telling myself I can stop after 20 minutes. I know that 20 minutes is not optimum BUT that's 20 minutes I'm not being a couch potato. Right?

Good morning challengers! Hope you all had a great day. Wtg Janice and fatfatnomore on excercising! That is an area where I need to improve, but I'm starting with getting my menu in shape first.
I had my business dinner last night. I did well. I had steak and a salad, and totally passed up the fresh breads, the risotto and the cannoli cake. Yay me! I did have wine. 2 glasses! But I knew I was going to do that, so I don't count it as bad.
Today I have a plan
Breakfast is protein shake and string cheese
Lunch is pumpkin soup and a ham and cheese roll up
Dinner is a bunless burger salad.
I am going to be in wonderland by thanksgiving. I can feel it!
