Whoa Becky you are good!

I am so tired tonight - didn't sleep well with DH gone. Eating hasn't been the best - not bad really, just not on any plan, of any kind, lol.

Happy Birthday to your DH, Debbie!!!

So, I've dropped a little weight, and things weren't fitting just right. After a stop at VS I'm not sure how I managed to go down a band size and up two cup sizes, no wonder the girls didn't feel supported! I guess I don't need to worry about losing my curves. LOL

I finally managed to go back and skim through everyone's posts to (sorta) catch up!

Cindy, I bought a lot of every day "play" clothes for the boys at the gap when they were little. They mark things WAY down so if you can guess right you can get some great deals! Ralph Lauren makes really cute boys clothes, BUT they are pricey. We have an outlet here and they have good prices, but I looked at their site out of curiosity and they even have some things sorta decently priced for babies in the "sale" section. Those were the things that I ended up passing from DS20 to DS16 to my 3 younger nephews so we definitely got our money's worth on those things.

Jenn, I love the new house! I really really like the green fireplace room! I'm sure you are really excited!

Debbie, it's so easy to eat GF here I could have dessert every time we went out if I wanted. We have been hitting a new favorite place in town that has a HUGE paleo menu which makes it really easy!
Isabella was a beautiful Angelina Ballerina!

MK, safe travels if you aren't quite home yet! So jealous! I'm sure you had a great trip!

Kaye, do you have new kittens yet? As involved as I've been with the boys I can't picture life with DS16 not in our local HS. I'm gradually turning over my roles for various things starting next year. (I have it all planned out in my head)

Becky, it sounds like you are having a lot of fun with your Lia Sophia! It's nice to hear that Kim and the girls are happy!

I'll try to be better about posting.

No one posted today? Everyone must be busy.

We had our thanksgiving with Alyssa and Gracie. Cory came and brought Noah. It was such a good evening. And my turkey was the best one I've ever made. It wasn't thawing out yesterday and I told Kim we might have to have beef but it was thawed this morning and ended up perfect.

Going to knit on Cory's scarf. Come out shorties!!!

Just left a musical a friend's son was in. He goes to a theater school after school.

Went with his family and two other friends. Had a nice dinner before.

We are counting the hours till midnight.
DS22 asking his GF to marry him on top of the Empire State Building.
They went to see Lion King on Broadway and soon will head to Empire State Building. She has no idea.

Work the next two days.

Having Thanksgiving at my house. I get a fresh turkey so I don't have to worry about it defrosting Becky. I need to order it. We invited friends over too. They would be alone.

80% of my favorite things bought. It is hard because they may be my favorite things but have to work for the Shorty. I have one more thing to buy and need to find the right size box.

I have the box and just need to pack it and address it. Have the items bought. I hope my shortie likes what I chose. I had my idea all ready and changed it at the last minute. I fret over it cuz I want it to be perfect.

Gracie came home with us. I have to go with John to pick new glasses out for him and then we need to stop by joann fabrics Cuz I can't find my needle to see knitted items together. I also need some regular needles to sew buttons on a couple of Kim's scarves

I had blood scheduled to be donated at the firehouse on this coming Saturday and Kim reminded me about the turkey trot. I'll change it to sometime on January

Waiting on the proposal news!
How exciting! Was anyone with them so they could take pictures?

DD's fam came over and we did the presentation of the birth announcement. If you don't have a photographer/graphic designer in the family, you can't understand the impact or how this is a major deal, DD faked her out with some very cute fakes, but when she finally saw the suite DD did and the photo, she broke into tears.....even DSIL was touched as DD actually chose his favorite picture. I really will have to take pics and post for you to see the whole thing.

We had a nice evening and everyone had some Fletcher time!

I am gathering my things.......I didn't realize how many faves I could come up with that my Shortie (I hope) would be able to enjoy!!!

And Becky - I am sure whatever you got your Shortie, she will LOVE!!!! I just love that we are able to connect this way with each other!!

Today not sure what we will do, if anything.......DD23 wants to run some errands before they head back.......I have a turkey breast for the crock pot. I am really going to try and eat on some kind of plan today!

Got a call around 12:30 that they are engaged. They indeed went to the top of the Empire State Building. I guess it was around 11:30.I am happy for them but worried as neither makes much money. Guess they will set a 2015 date. Maybe February or March.

I have to finish getting ready for work.

Cindy, I would love to see mire Fletcher photos.

My hubby is seeing Bella today. I am not

I did see her Thursday for DH!s birthday dinner. She was all about grandpa.

Me too Cindy. I love this shortie exchange they we do with out group.

Gracie is doing home and then we'll go to sears to pick new glasses out for John. Still have to go to Joann's to get a couple of different needles for the scarves. I will be happy to get Cory's done. His chocolate color wasn't all they interesting to work with.

Gracie just left for a bit, we need some more shorties to check in

Popping in!

Last week was super busy and I think this one will be as well. Just lots going on.

I've gained weight which doesn't make me happy, but it's my own fault for eating badly.

Went and saw Hello, Dolly! Friday night with MIL. Super fun! One of my favorites and it starred Sally Struthers.

Feeling like a chicken with my head cut off! lol! Will try to post more/better!

Back to work for 8. Got my workout in.

DH got to see Bella yesterday. He took her for cupcakes.

I am not sure when I will see them and I am jealous.

Better get ready for work.

Jenn, one thing at a time!!! Glad you liked the play.

Cindy, Fletcher is beautiful. I think he looks like his dad.

MK, how is your husband and the kidney stone situation??

Becky, you had an early Thanksgiving. I still need to order my turkey.

Kelly, what will you do when your youngest is out of HS? The school will miss you. You should run for board of Ed.

Be back tonight!!

Good morning-

Cindy, please continue to share Fletcher pics! He's adorable!

Debbie, Congrats to your DS and DDIL-to be! That is so sweet!

I love our shortie gift exchange but I know I wouldn't get my shopping done and it wouldn't be fair to the person that I drew their name.

DS20 just asked if one of his room mates could spend part of Christmas break with us so I guess we'll have an extra big kid for a week or two in January. (It's the roomie that didn't come last summer and that is incredibly shy so it will be nice to get to know him a little better as well)

The boys lost a very close playoff game Saturday morning (quarter final, it was very sad for the seniors!) so the season is over and there are just odds and ends to wrap up now. (their keepsake photo calendar, the banquet, coaches gifts... that sort of thing)

Debbie, I've been asked to run for our local school board in the last two election cycles, I wouldn't touch it! We have small town politics and lots of drama! I don't do drama so... (of the five current board members we only have one that I would make that same statement about and he holds his own much better than I could)
I am flattered though that people trust and respect me enough to want me making decisions about our local kids and their education.

Becky, it sounds like a nice dinner, the important thing is being together and not the date on the calendar!

Jenn, I understand! Hang in there!

MK, I hope your DH is feeling better!

Kaye,

How come MK hasn't checked in with us?

I will surely share Fletcher pics. DD sends me pics during the day at work. Today he was fresh from a bath!

It will be DH, DD23 and DSIL for Thanksgiving. DSIL's fam celebrates on the weekend. I think I may do Lasagna Rolls, vegan of course.......I have no desire to do a turkey and of course a lot of work for 4 people. DD26 and DSIL and baby will go to his family's - it's a big deal for his Mom and I could care less, so told DD they can go there every year if they want. She didn't like that, lol.

It will just be Kim, John and I on thanksgiving day, I might do chicken and dumplings. Mom was going to spend it with us but my cousin asked if she could come there. Since were getting together at moms the Saturday after I didn't mind her going to his house and to be quite honest, I could use the day to just rest up

I think she's dissing us......

Well, I just can't believe just how many favorite things I DO have! I am having so much fun putting my gift together!!! I just know you - whoever you are - will love it!

So, it's Tuesday, my late day. I have some errands to run before work; mailing DD's birth announcements, a Walmart run, the bank, then to work. Lunch time brings more errands.....Michaels, The Party Store and TJ! I am going to have to be quick!

Still researching what to have for Tday.....DD26 and I already planning for BF. Hoping she can hang in there - she has to go with DSIL's fam to get their tree too!

Issues at work AGAIN. We have ONE late night and it's only till 6. One of my teammates (there are four of us) is making a big stink about it and we will be adding a 5th specialist soon and we are going to be talking about revamping our schedules.....She wants to do one full week of late nights.....M-TH till 6, Friday till 5. So our rotation would be every 5 weeks. I do not want to do that.......really? You can't handle ONE night a week? She works till 4:30 now, what difference does 1.5 hours more, one night a week make??? We have a meeting this week to discuss. I don't want to do it.

Kelly - you may have more mouths to feed over Christmas break? How long will DS be home?

Debbie - any pics from the engagement? Did DS and DDIL go on a honeymoon? I don't recall you mentioning anything.

I am off tomorrow! YAY - it's a Fletcher Day!

I want to see more Fletcher pics! Is tomorrow a grandma day? Can't remember if it's Wednesday.

I'm still making scarves. Went to a joann fabrics yesterday to get a color they are out of in Dayton and OMG... The Mason, OH one is awesome. I want to to back on payday but probably will be the Monday after payday. What I'm using is a texturized yarn and they have so many colors. I have found a new favorite place, too bad it's 45 minutes away!!!

No honeymoon. Maybe in January but they want to rent a house and may not be able to afford it.
The night of the wedding they stayed in a cottage on the lake at the place they got married. They just spent the weekend in Ocean City.

No engagement photos but do have photos from their dinner out and ring photos on FB. My sons page not posted by me.

Cindy, there should be a vote for your schedule. What do others want?

So I screwed up my schedule and took the wrong weekend off for our Rehiboth trip so we can't go for the Half Marathon. I kind of don't mind because I really am not ready to run a half and DH has barely been running. It will save us money too.

We are trying hard to save money as we spent a lot with the wedding and our NYC trip.
We are going to San Diego/La Jolla for 5 days in February but we are using frequent flyer miles and room comped. We are splitting rental car with cousins.

The very end of March first week in April we have convention in Jacksonville and they pay for me to go. I do volunteer to help and I am wife of CEO of organization. We are staying extra days and going to St. Augustine where cousin has a house on the beach. His cousins all coming. Maybe his brother too. It will be fun.

So if no Rehoboth I can run a little less as I have no need to train. I have a meeting tonight so missing my run. May head out alone soon but not as long as I was going to do.

I am sure MK is just catching up!!

Yesterday was bank and grocery shopping. I go to two stores, so it takes forever.

Today I am volunteering at the school. I also need to do a load of laundry.

MIL is driving me crazy. Love her, but she's driving me crazy.

Also have a Pack meeting Friday that I need to get awards ready for.

Padraic made Second Class last night

Off to get some things done before I leave!

Oh!

Cindy-that's ridiculous! Hopefully majority will agree with you! I know I would much rather work *one* late shift a week than a whole week of late shifts!

Becky-so sweet you had a Thanksgiving for the girls

Kelly-you are such a good mom!

Debbie-Sometimes it's nice to take a break!

MK-I've seen your pictures on FB...now come post here
