Hi Gang!
Sunday - boy weekends are too short!

Debbie; you and Don looked great at wedding! Glad you had fun!

Yesterday DH and I went out for breakfast and ran a couple errands. I went and returned sleepers for DD - boy they have nothing cute for little boys out there that doesn't have crap all over it.......their style is not to wear stuff with trucks, animals, etc all over it. It makes me mad that there is so little out there for little boys that is cute.

DD23 stopped home after funeral - I fed both she and DSIL - it's not easy, as one is vegan and one is not. Then DH and I had a late dinner and watched Side Effects.

Today DH invited DD and DSIL and DGS over for the game. DD says she needs to run to The Gap. I don't want to go - I want to stay and hold DGS.

Well, my parents and I are on the outs. Knew that was going to happen. It was bound to happen.

Gaps clothes tend not to have stuff all over them

I like Children's Place.
I like Oshgosh Outlet for boys. Look online. Love the overalls.

The bride and groom made the New York Times wedding section picture and all.

Wow, what a keepsake they will have, Debbie!!! I want to go to a wedding! My BFF and maid of honor has a daughter getting married this coming September. I'm hoping to go to CA for that since she came in for Kim's wedding

Gotta get to Kim's by 9 so I better run.

Got my name last night! Can't wait to see what I end up sending, it's as much of a surprise for me as for my shortie sister since I can never make up my mind

We are waiting on the inspection. If everything is good then we will have a house

It is a bit over 1200 square feet. Then there is the detached garage where DH's office will be.

There is no eat in kitchen. Where the dining room was is too small for us. I am putting my desk there plus a stand alone pantry (already picked it out!) Where they had their living room (I'm guessing...it's the picture with the faux brick) we are turning into the dining room.

Boys will share a room and girls will share a room.

The closets aren't bad, but they don't hang a lot of stuff up. Most of it is just shirts and jeans that will go into a dresser. The closets will be used to store toys/games/ect.

Cindy-when I worked in the children's department at Upton's, that was our (and customer's) number one complaint. That there is nothing cute for boys! Target will sometimes have some cute onesies that are plain or have stripes. And occasionally you can find some cute stuff at Babies R Us.

I buy a lot at Target. Don't mind embellishment.
I liked Osh Gosh for my boys. Loved overalls.

Jenn, sounds like you have it figured out. Is the garage heated and wired for electric?

My garage is attached and not heated. DS31 has a carport. It is screened. There is electric and the back end has attached storage shed.

Our flight was all boarded and ready to take off but they turned us around due to a check engine light. We got on next flight. Delta has hourly shuttles.

Wish I wasn't working tomorrow but only doing 3 eight or shifts this week.

Waiting to board the next flight. Long day.

Went to Joann fabrics and got some textured yarn to make Kim a circle scarf. Got 3 different colors. The one I'm doing right now I'm crocheting.

Becky-what is a circle scarf? Like a cowl?

Debbie-Yes! The previous owner used it as a "man cave". It is wired for electricity, cable, has heat and ac.

Cindy-meant to say too, so sorry to hear you and your parents are on the outs. Hope everything works out soon.

That is fantastic Jenn. Is it possible to add on to the house in the future?

My house is around 2200 sq feet and not big. A finished basement would have been good. Not spending on it now.

Also - circle scarf = infinity scarf!
I love those as well as regulars scarfs!

We did go to Baby Gap and found a few things - DD and DSIL and now I, don't like all that stuff on our little guys clothes. And really, why would you have to load it up with trucks, animals, creatures, characters, or some godawful patterns????

DD and family stayed all day other than our outing to Gap. DH ended up inviting them for dinner as well. DH also commented after they left, what a good baby DGS is.

Off to work and a retirement party after work. UGH - the gal that planned it has about 10-12 games planned and all we wanted to do was visit. I was teasing her saying I need to go to bed at 8 so need to be home - she laughed and said well, it might be 8:30 because we probably won't get out of there till 8! Everyone is not happy. The party starts at 5 and there are only like 15 of us!

Working on my Favorite Things for my Shortie - DD reminded me of other things, so picking up a nice array of items that she can use and enjoy, keeping in mind her likes and dislikes. I can't wait. Our Favorite Things with DD's Family is the 22nd and already she and her BFF/married to BIL have shared what she, her mom, DD and I are giving, and I want theirs!!! DD is doing B&B Anti Bacterial soap and her handmade dish cloths, I am doing my fave body wash and pouf, her BFF is doing fabric covered earrings and her mom is doing a small candle and holder from B&B. We get 5 out of the 8 gifts, so I guess the odds are pretty good I would get some!

Well, off to work.......Have a great Monday!

At gym on bike. Hard to get up today but here near 7. Work till 7.

DH's birthday Thursday. Need to plan something. Our NY trip was our birthday and anniversary gifts. I got the better deal with the spa and products I bought.

Thinking about my favorite things too. Hard because we are all different. I wlll figure it out. I love B and B too Cindy but not for my body. Buy DH body wash there all the time.

I think we can tweak our favorite things to fit the person. I like tea the like coffee etc....

Not saying I am buying coffee. That is just an example.

My SIL knits gorgeous scarves. I don't have one though. My other Sil made me one once. I need to find it. My front all closet needs organizing as we throw a lot on the floor and shelf.

I am drenched and still have more time on bike. Really easy on bike because treadmill and elliptical I work hard soon intervals. Burn a lot of calories doing intervals.

Waiting for UPS... Having 6 rings delivered today and a bracelet for Kim for st nick day. We are going to see Jim Brickman on the 6th for his Christmas show and taking Alyssa. She's the one that introduced me to his piano playing when she was about 1. We were getting ready for naps and she kept sitting up looking at the TV (was on the cable music station) and she kept doing that every day when his music would come on. We took her last ear and she wanted to go again. I probably will get her early for dinner and make it a special evening. Breakie with Santa the next morning!!!

no it is not my birthday. my husband's birthday is Thursday.

My birthday is November 25th. I am going to be 57.

Becky, is it your anniversary?? Your anniversary is one month after mine isn't it? Mine was October 11. I am so confused.

Just sat down and paid bills and faced the music after our vacation and wedding in NYC.

Boy do I need to build up savings again. DH tends to be a spender.

I really don't want to work more but may need to pick up some shifts.

I don't do a lot of holiday shopping but I do give the kids money and buy for Bella. Plus we make pies and buy a gift for our neighbors. I think I am giving them a gift card to a local restaurant plus the usual two pies.

I have to go buy some birthday cards. Rebecca's mom Debbie and Sarah my son's soon to be fiancé both have birthdays Sunday. Don's is Thursday. My mom's is two days after mine. November is a busy month. Plus my friend Susan's is tomorrow and my card will be late.

Haha. Meeee topic Debbie on the confusion! My anniversary was yesterday and I was thinking ur bd was the day after but I was confused with your anniversary being the day after my bd.

Gotta check my little hamster tonight after the girls leave. She wasn't doing too good last night. She's not going to be with me much longer. She is a good little girl. I've gotten the dwarf ones the past 3 hamsters. Wish they lived longer!

Happy Anniversary, Becky!

I didn't even realize that yesterday was 11-12-13. lol!

FIL surprised me and MIL with tickets to see Hello, Dolly! Friday night I'm super excited!

Otherwise, it's pretty same old, same old here. House inspection is tomorrow and if everything goes well there, we should close *hopefully* before the end of November.

Good morning-
I need to go back and catch up with everyone. I'm here, just normal busy, nothing fun or exciting!
Today is my dad's birthday he refuses to text (or even open them if you send them to him) he tells us "I bought a phone, not a type writer." Anyway, hopefully we can Skype with him later tonight.

DS20 will be home for Thanksgiving, I think he is a little homesick which means he has been calling a lot. (He is also out of money so the calls and texts could just be his way of trying to soften me up to get more money since he and his room mates didn't budget well this semester)

Slept poorly. Could have stayed in bed but got to gym at 7. Couldn't run on treadmill as I was sore from last night but I did elliptical for 25 minutes with intervals. Then I power walked for 22 minutes. Lastly I rode recumbent bike for 20 minutes. Then I did core and strength workout.

Working and should have left 4 minutes ago.

Catch up later.

Glad you are back Kelly. Jenn, that is a quick closing!

Love grandchild days. I miss Bella. May not see her till thanksgiving due our schedules and volunteering for races.

Saturday going out with friends and then going to a play one of our friends son is in.

Tomorrow DH's 58th birthday. He doesn't want any type of party. We just had our trip to NYC. We will celebrate with family thanksgiving.
