The Big Breakfast Diet
There you go.

I was reading the book and it was low/anti fat. But they seem to ignore that on the thread. They eat eggs, bacon , butter etc so if I do it I will ignore it too. I always feel better with fat in my diet.

I love lemon water.. in fact I can just sit and eat lemons. But, when I eat them I like lots of salt on them so it is not so good. I have had apple cider vinegar, but not the raw kind, I've heard that is the way you have to drink it for benefits.

Heading in to day 2 of induction feeling pretty good.
Cheryl- I usually do not get induction flu too bad. Sometimes I get a headache and a little bit cranky though..lol.

It is starting out cold here again this morning..20 degrees, but it should warm up to 50 so that will be okay. I have lots of errands to run this morning, so my breakfast is an atkins shake and coffee w/ heavy cream and pumpkin sf syrup.
I think I will have a breakfast lunch of bacon/eggs and back to the chicken thighs with a salad for dinner.

Deb- I have gone 2 nights, no wine.

Miss V~ Your plan for the day sounds like a good one

It's almost 11am here...gotta get my bum in gear to exercise. Blech I just don't wanna. I can't wait to get back to the days Where I didnt necessarily LOVE it, but I could tolerate it

I am gonna finish off my protein shake and drag out the Wii from under the sofa. Wish me luck friends. The worst part is gonna be that darn voice saying "THAT'S OBESE" when I stand on the board WHY oh WHY did I go back here!?!

Well let the new experiment begin.

I had my BB this morning.
4 slices bacon
2 sausage patties.
Hashbrowns
Whole milk protein shake
2 bite size ice cream treats.

Full.

I also had the house to myself so I plugged my iPhone into my speakers, turned on Pandora and sang and danced for 10 minutes. Felt good ! But my hips hurt maybe a little too crazy dancing.

Cheryl~ Hope it works for you

Deb~ Sounds nice!

AS you can tell I'm not exercising yet!

I dragged out the board...Wii Fit disc was missing from case I yelled at Emma cuz shes the one famous for leaving em out.

Next the board needs batteries and I can't find the AAs. We have a huge pack SOMEWHERE!

Now the cat puked by the front door and got it on the curtains so must clean that before I can WO. I am waiting for DH to call me back on battery location.

Welcome to my crazy world LOL

I got this from a fellow LCFriend's blog. It's one of my faves. I add a can of pinto beans when I'm allowing more carbs

1 lb ground beef
1 can rotel
˝ cup minced purple onion
2 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp cumin
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add rotel (and liquid). Chop can contents with hamburger. Add the rest of the ingredients. Once the liquid begins to boil slightly, turn heat to simmer. Let cook for 20 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.

Makes 3 cups, or 6, 1/2 cup servings

Love the pic Deb! Looks like a neat place to visit.
Yes, the farmville is a total time muncher. But, I stepped away from it all summer and it was still just sitting there waiting for me when I went back. No animals starved..lol.

Lisa- The chili recipe looks good, I will have to try it out. I had to laugh about the wii- when you said you hated it calling you "obese". I cringe at getting on the wii step for the same reason. In fact when I first got it, my son who was only about 5 at the time asked me why the wii though I was a "beast"
He thought it meant I was really strong.

Cheryl- your menu looks really good to me! Some of my faves. I need to go look at the thread too.

I've been drinking lots of water... and I have to say it is really helping. I think staying away from the wine is a big help as well. So here I am on night three... no wine. Guess I am a beast... ha.

Deb I have lots of coco powder you can borrow Sorry to be away so long but the last couple of months have been a nightmare. DH had the valve replacement and some other repairs made to his heart and then had 8 complications afterwards. Meaning we went back and forth for ICU to the ward a few times. We almost lost him a couple of times but guess he wanted to stay I have been in a fog for most of the time and my girlfriend told my yesterday that I still look like a Mac Truck hit me but I know I am getting better. So gained weight and way to much sitting in hospital rooms for 15 hours a day and eating whatever. Got back after a month but to tired to care and so continued. Anyway wanted to come back here but I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. And guess what in the process they changed our computer systems at work so I cant log on here joining my breaks but I can read and I was reading. My time at home is pretty busy but wanted to log on tonight to tell you I am back and on day 4 of induction and of course feeling like **** , day two of back walking . Its time to look after me again and I plan on it. But I missed you all so much and will try and check in as much as possible. Hope you have all been well , Hugsssssssss, 205 on Saturday time to turn that around
