Dee~ I swear, my body is trying to drive me into the nuthouse! Bounced back UP again today +1.2 I'm sure if I'd quit weighing every day I'd be less neurotic...but c'mon, who wants that, right?
I am going to try some of your chicken this weekend, sounds yummmmmm. You want under 200 by Xmas, I want it for you too---how exciting!
Danielle...thank you so much for the kind words. Very sweet of you.

I'll be seeing those scales all over the place the next couple of weeks for sure, just as in the past, so I know how you feel. I'm finding it interesting though, even when it goes up. Amazing how much I lose in one day doing the fat fasts. It must be mostly water though. My theory is that they get rid of the last water from my last carb nights.

The chicken is yummy. It's modified from a recipe from my aunt, who was a strict low fat believer. She used boneless skinless chicken breasts, no butter, wine vinegar instead of cider vinegar and cooked it in the microwave. Still was tasty enough that I kept the recipe all these years.

Thanks everyone!

Still want that last pound before Christmas but not sweating it. Just need to relax and enjoy and not stress. Have most of next week off work, plan to make the most of it, even if it's just vegging in front of the tv the whole time.

Least I saw 198. Don't expect that I'll see under 200 again until after New Years though. However, I have a feeling that keeping the fat mobilized is good, even if it's flowing in on occasion, at least it's not just stuck in place. And as I've been seeing, it flows right back out again very quickly.

Dee, you've got a great handle on all this. I have no doubt you'll see that 198 again very soon after Xmas.

Ugh, I dunno what is going on with me....am I getting sick, do I have something hormonal going on? No idea? Up over 2 lbs today for NO reason? Just gotta keep hanging on and see what happens when all the Christmas stress is gone. *sigh*

Danielle, I know how you feel. I have days where my weight jumps up for no reason. That's when I eat more fat the next day and it comes right back down. Don't know if it's the fat or it just comes down...but I feel better thinking I am doing something about it. Hope you get a BIG Ole' WHOOSH before Christmas!

Dee - you are doing Great! You have the 198 or even LOWer by New Years.

Nikki - Congrats Girl! WTG!!

I'm back and back on track too.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Just don't let those holiday pounds get you down.

I splurged a lot over the past week. Didn't weigh most days, but did weigh the day after Christmas, = 207.0. Fat fasted Thursday and most of yesterday, back down to 202.4 this morning.

Was interesting that I didn't enjoy the foods as much as I thought. I did notice that I was fatigued and my vision was blurry by the end of Christmas eve day. My vision had really improved the last few months, to see it blurry so fast after eating carbs was enlightening and a bit scary. I noticed it as I usually watch some Netflix in bed before sleeping, and I couldn't read the descriptions, had to move closer so it was very obvious. I meant to pay attention last night but forgot. Will try to tonight though.

Hoping we'll start a new challenge after New Years?

Not quite where I wanted to be by today.....but, I'm down during a part of the year where I commonly gain a huge amount of weight.

Missed my goal by 4.6 lbs.

Lost 10.4 lbs.

Missydee, very nice! You did so well for this challenge!

I've been amazed how well fat fasts work, even just one day at a time. Really motivating to see 2-3 pounds gone in one day.

Danielle, it's this time of year. Christmas is stressful, and stress really thwarts weight loss. Give it time after the holidays. I'll bet you it will improve a great deal.

I'm going to party a bit tonight, so expect another bit of surge. I'll be back to my regular LC after this weekend, need to buckle down then and hoping to find another challenge to join. New Years is the perfect time to start anew.

Start Date Aug 2013
Start Weigh: 243
Challenge Start Date 10/24
Challenge Start Weight 213
Current Weight: 201.8
Dec. 31st Goal: 198

Oh yeah....blurriness was better last night.

No where near I wanted to be! But a 4 lb. loss is better than a gain! Congrats Missydee and tio everyone else for their losses this challenge. Happy New Year!

Definitely better than a gain! I struggled this month...not because I wasn't trying, but because my body chose to become ultra stubborn in the early weeks...and then Christmas came and that added to it...but sheesh...I'm so glad it's all over so life can become normal once again!

Happy New Year, everyone!!!

Dee, you're absolutely right. For whatever reason my body kinda did a freak out this month..I honestly have no explanation for it other than to just keep moving.. Being down any weight at the end of the year is a huge accomplishment for me---usually I'm sitting here on this day vowing to recommit to weight loss on Jan. 2! Not this year! Feels good to already know that I am in control and already on my way!!
