[QUOTE=tobelowcarber;16635230]Good idea! You can also start with higher DD calories.

What did/do you do?

I think I started off with 500 and than lowered to what the calculator says at 25-30% weight loss mode. Right now I am doing anything from 400-700.
If 500 feels too low for you, you can start off slightly higher. Some people continue to lose well with slightly higher DD calories and also with higher UD calories. It really depends on the person. I would start off with 500 and see for couple of days how you feel. It can take few DD to get used to it. If you find yourself struggling with 500, than go to 600-700. Also make sure you don't go way past your UD calories from what the calculator says. You want to get good calories swing between UD and DD.
Did you get your numbers from JUDDD online calculator?

I have been playing around with different percentages some were less than 500 calorie DD's. I don't know if I'll try JUDDD or not for sure as I most days I feel pretty good IF-ing, but for some reason it seems tempting.

Jeanie, if are happy with your WOE than don't need to switch anything. If you are just curious you can try couple of DD rotations with 500 cal and see what you think.

I need to tread carefully and not get in the mindset that I need to lose weight more quickly which I think is why JUDDD is tempting me. I think I'll just keep IF-ing and using CAD guidelines as needed.

Woooohooo Jeaniem WB starting to kick in.. first time in forever I have actually forgotten about food i.e what I ate, what I'm going to eat, what I'm not going to eat, etc etc. Also affecting my satiety signal - 20 mins after small portion I get the full stomach feeling but not the yucky one that makes me want to binge, a pleasant kind of full feeling. Hope this continues.

I'm now 124 - goal is 120 - I guess you could say I'm almost at goal. It's been a long process and no doubt a life-time one. I need to maintain and cure bingeing for good. Marika the BOB book - do you have a book or kindle. I can't find mine and am desperate to read and am thinking kindle but I find kindle a pain when wanting to refer to something. I would even prefer to buy a pdf version so I could run off and highlight areas.

Mojo, you are almost there my friend. Fantastic!
I know that this never ends because you have to maintain the weight and watch for the binging monster. You need all the ammunition you can get and you are already doing it. You will will this battle because you have it in you!!! We all have it in us. We just have to get stubborn and ready to fight this.
I have the printed version of BOB.

I stepped on the scales today and I'm 122 and I'm going to call goal - my initial goal was 120 but I'm diet fatigued and just want to maintain now. So big deal 2lbs will probably come off my bust anyway, nothing is going to get rid of the flabby inner thighs bar surgery. Weird, I was starting to lose weight off my hips giving me an almost male look. My body prefers to look like a man than give up it's flabby thighs...lol....What is important now is to maintain this weight as long as I can to make it my new "set point". I'm not ready for JUDDD as I need to maintain a little longer before I start IF'ing and not do anything too drastic.

I read a lot of the other threads here because there is so much to learn from people. What I read was that eating carbs late at night could hinder weight loss or make one gain weight due to the insulin spikes. I'm going to trial just eating protein at night with no carbs. Which is fine by me, I'm a cavewoman. If this doesn't feel right I will go back and add carbs in the form of veggies/fruit at night. For now though I'm just going to continue with strict no sugar/starch/nuts whatsoever; it's worked for me in the past and just adding any of that junk will spiral me into binge land. The more I have the more I want, it stimulates blood sugar/brain chemicals etc, it is not good for me particularly the sugar. I can get my sugar fix via cocoa crack - can't overeat that stuff. Also no breakfast for me as it stimulates my appetite so I will hold off breaky until I am hungry and have my carbs (fruit/veggies) in that meal. That's my plan anyway.

Congratulations mojo

How is it going with the wellbutrin? I am thinking about going off of it to see if I still need it. I have been reading Chris Kresser's blog and he has me convinced that there is no real scientific evidence to support a need for AD's. I am hoping a good diet and exercise will be enough?
